Great writeup Phil. Having owned an SP10, and dealing with the ear-piercing scream it put out, how do the fans on the SP20 compare in pitch to those fans? I don't mind something a little loud as long as it isn't that awful screeching whine. Don't suppose you could grab a quick audio clip of the fans at a few different speeds and post it could you?
They are just as loud, but personally speaking the pitch on the fans is much more tolerable than the SP10. Hey Matt/bobsag3 when are you finally going to send me my refund Minersource (Miner Hosting LLC) promised twice??
I was told to receive a refund on May 22, 2014 and on June 30, 2014.
I ordered on November 2013. Your company still has my $844! I told you I would be fine if you would just send me 1 BTC and it's done. I've been waiting more then 6 months now... ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif)
Please send the BTC to: 15TrStnmq3G3NymjDQGPKfvGKGtd9x9945order number ending with: R....24732 to bobsag3 if this is a legit complaint please fix it. @ Dallas5 hopefully if you are legit bobsag3 and thomas will pay you. you can then buy an sp20 for the refund.

Great thread, thanks for all the detailed information. I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of my first SP20 that I ordered back on the 11th. They finally shipped it today and I should have it on Monday here in FL (I'm hoping for some compensation as it was supposed to have shipped on the 18th). I took the plunge tonight and ordered a second SP20 as I couldn't pass up that Black Friday price drop. Hopefully that one will get here next week too. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

getting exactly the same. very pleased with this. check your asic temps this is 26 hours garage door shut room temps up to 87f 10 s-3's and 1 sp20e pulling about 4 kwatts and hashing at 5.7th grand total of .7watts per gh this gear earns more then power cost until over a diff of 100 vs current diff of 40 when I add the second sp20 and off load 2 or 3 s-3's the over all watts per gh will drop to .65 per gh when I add a third sp20 and off load more s-3' the watts per gh will be near .6 I will be able to run it at a profit over power for a diff over 120 I feel so much safer running this gear then the asic miner prisma. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fimagizer.imageshack.us%2Fv2%2F1280x1024q90%2F540%2FxjOSa0.png&t=670&c=LKHYZLMin7MXVw)

Hey Ruskul, Much VAT did you have to pay? (Scotland right?)
I have a vat registered business and purchased it as part of my business. my charges will not be invoiced to me until end of the quarter-year by DHL (which will fall in January 2015). I do a lot of import so I have an account with them to enable this. It's easier much easier for me this way as I can claim back my allowed % on all VAT charges which are customs. Sorry if this isn't much help, I believe there is a calculator - http://www.dutycalculator.com that you can work out how much you should expect to pay the extortionists government ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif)

As we are in the early grips of winter here, I think the colder ambient temperature I have will help towards efficiency, i'll report back tomorrow after it's been running for 24hrs.

They are not in the EU, so you can expect to pay whatever the VAT rate on customs is in Germany on your shipment. If you run a business or have a friend or relative who can order it for you on their business, you may get a reduced customs rate or be entitled to claim back some of the VAT you pay to your country govt for customs charges. i hope this helps.
