I think we should just do all transactions by hand, and train pigeons to broadcast them. It might not be the most efficient way in terms of mh/j, but hey, better than no Bitcoin, eh?

What if the Code changes, then the ASIC will be destroyed FPGA is more universal thus the higher price. ASIC = very high risk. |

The code hasn't changed so far, so why do people keep thinking it will? Protocol changes can be made without affecting the ASIC, but as long as it's based on SHA256, nothing is going to come along and "destroy" and ASIC's viability for mining. |
