oh and the XY code works like this. One X Equals A Two Xs Equal B. its just like the number system. 1 = A 2 =B, except now you have to convert the Xs to Numbers then to Letters
That's what I thought, but if that is true then either you mis-counted on multiple rows or I mis-counted.
Did the +0-5 -0-5 clue mean that we were supposed to adjust the number of X's somehow?
Please go back and carefully check your work. If I mis-counted, then I apologize for the misunderstanding. If you mis-counted, then you need to understand that mistakes can make a puzzle unsolvable and waste the time of a lot of people. Please double-check your puzzles before you release them.
hey yes, the +0-5 and -0-5 meant that you had to adjust some letters to make them fit in for example if a sentence would be. A Cat would be
YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYX 1 X
YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYXXX 3 X
YXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX 20 X (Don't mind the Ys now)
it could also have been like this.
YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYX 1 X
YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYXXX 3 X
YXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX 19 X (Don't mind the Ys now)
Then it would spell out: A Cas (which would make no sense, that's were the 0-5 method comes in, this this case it would be +1 which would then result in 20 X which would be T)
that's why i made some of the Words Correct and some incorrect, to make it more Confusing.
i'm sorry if the Clue was a bit weird.
it was the same reason why i didn't spell out all T's, Xs the same in all the rows, just to make it more confusing.
Ok, I guess I get it now.
The mis-spelling was intentional.
The +0 and -0 were not clues at all, but were instead "anti-clues" meant to lead us in the wrong direction and confuse us.
The -5 was an indication that we might need to add one or two extra X's to some of the rows to get the correct spelling.
