I'll try to contribute here too. How much BTC do you have now ? Not telling, sorry How much did you spent? I think around 5BTC How much did you lost or scammed by someone? 0.85 on a USB Block Erupter and nearly 0.10 on someone who sold a Battlefield 4 + premium to me but he charged it back, got in contact with EA and they activated it again basically giving the scammer no game to play and only a 0.10 profit  There are soooo many things to learn about Bitcoin, I started reading into it in begin 2012 and made an account mid 2012, mined for a few months and now I make my money of some investment (which is 99% sure also a scam, LTC-gear) and signature campaigns. Tips: never buy without escrow, and never buy key's or accounts from untrusted members, even with escrow because they can charge back. I also used escrow on that Battlefield 4 deal. Escrow is not a holy grail. As you are a good experienced person here, a hero member who made lots of trades, lots of mistakes. Thankyou for telling us your story. So you are saying that we should not buy anything from a untrustworthy guy any thing than can be charged back. Thanks. That is a few bob there, i am interested what you spend them on if you do not mind me asking I barely able to spend one lol I am sure when we have more things available that i am interested in i will spend and make myself skint within a short period then have to top up again.. |
TC is the worse thing to happen to default, needs to open his eyes and not jump to conclusions, not everyone lies!!! Anyway as promised I have left, pass word changed to long random which I will forget like that plonker who ruined a perfectly fine account.

I mostly spent my bitcoins buying other things so that I can earn more bitcoins.
I got scammed by a guy out of BTC0.8, and that's probably the highest amount I got scammed of.

Yet i have not been scammed from any one. Once some one tried to scam me by impersonating some one sr.member but i got him and gave him a negative trust

I`m more gambling with it at this point, since I see the value to be dropping.. yeah you may say I`m a bit dumb to do it.
But, whats dumb is if this coin ends up dropping to $100 instead, so I might as well try to get more coin.
And if the prices did fall around that price I`d prob buy a ton of coin since I have more fiat.

I don't spend my bitcoin but I always transfer it to PayPal. Due to the constant fluctuations in the BTC rate,
I don't hold the cash for long as BTC is not a trusted currency but more like a virtual currency.
I have not been scammed by anyone till date via BTC and hope that I am not scammed as well in future

By transfering to PayPal you mean transferring the BTC to PayPal? Is PayPal now also a Bitcoin wallet and did I miss something? |

Never been scammed but I have lost decent amounts of BTC gambling. Only gamble if you know what you're doing - even then be careful.

Starting to spend my Bitcoin now. I shall spend it now before the price reach the bottom again. It's now currently $270. Bought a hosting yesterday.
I guess you will have more odds of getting offers if you try the digital goods. And looks like there are some sites that offer such service, but I can't say if they are trustworthy or not |
