I just want to remind something about "re-ann" & "dev takeover" coins.

Do you remember asiacoin scam? it had a hidden premine and it's dev dumped a lot of this shit asiacoin. Then a group of people (who were still holding it) tried to rebirth of it. But what happened? it died already...

You shouldn't care about Findyoucoin it was a disaster for people.

Just create a non-releated coin. it's better.

What's asiacoin got to do with FIND?

And how is creating new coin instead of taking over old coin changing anything in terms of "it will die/it will survive"? Seriously, please explain me so I can know better Smiley

Well, Everybody knows that "resurrect a coin" is just for the "bagholders". So Anyone will not buy the new coin because of the old one. Older bagholders will have an advantage. And when those bagholders dump their shiny new coin, it's price will be zeroed.

So it's unfortunately a bad opinion.

Asiacoin was just an example, it could be any other "resurrected" coin. You should check the prices of these "dev takeover" coins. I bet you can't find a coin that's price is higher then before...

Better have "bagholders" behind new coin, than start new coin from scratch and convince brand new people that "it's just the same as the coin that died last week, but we will do better!"  Wink

But you've got a point, actually.

I just don't want to create hype around new coin, or convince anyone that it's gonna be THA BOMB COIN!!!!111

We just see what we can do, and if we will fail - ok, that's gonna be interesting journey anyway.

I think is better make the change in the listed exchange, c-cex right now. More confident.

I think we shouldn't do it - more chances of some idiots starting to moving prices up&down.

I'd like to remind everyone, that this "old FIND=>new FIND" exchange is not some "make fast profit" scheme; it's pure technicality, aimed to save FIND community.

I know is pure tech but i still prefer a third person to do the change and not the dev team.

We can ask redsn0w to be our escrow, if it's ok.

Here's his thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=768454

Thats nice denkoma.
Another question. Maybe a proof of developer?? Will give more value to the coin, right?

Ok, but something else: after the faucet distrib., how some one can join us? if he DL the wallet, he will no have FIND in it, after the distribution. And at the beginning(after the distribution) we will no have exchange (to avoid D&P)... Who and how give him FIND if he want to make bounty for something ?

Don't forget about 2.26M bounties - not all will be related to coin's development. For example, I'm thinking about bounty for compiling "Doxxing 101" manual so anyone can learn how to FIND scammers, or something that doesn't require to be coder/designer/guy with 100k twitter followers.

On the other hand, if someone wants to put up a bounty for the scammer, and we see that the case is 100% scam indeed - I personally chip in and give some of my coins to find this guy. Successful FIND stories is good for the coin, so what the hell  Wink

Well, I'm shitty developer, so I don't know if I should be called that title  Grin That's just not my thing, it ain't my hobby or the thing I'm doing for a living.

I don't think it'll give any value to the coin since it's community-driven coin and my role is to kick-start FIND movement again, not holding it's hand for the rest of coin's life.

But as a sign of good will and in order to put some trust in FIND project I will gladly contact CryptoAsian and provide him with my info when the coin will be ready  Smiley

Guys, I have small question for community.

How will we define scam? And what difference is between scam and shitty business model or lack of interest in your own venture?

I'd say the difference is in intentions - you just want to earn your profit by any costs, ripping off other people fast, rather than provide goods or services for a long time.

But how we can estimate that someone's intentions were to scam, and that someone didn't just lose other people's money because of his/her stupidity?

I want to punish greedy jerks, but don't want to lynch stupid people only because of their mistakes. And any investment has risks of losing it, especially in crypto (how huge was MtGOX, right? and it wasn't intended as a scam either), so I don't want the FIND to become punishment tool for any guys who just didn't think enough before investing in some shady venture with 100% monthly returns.

Wow, I took that photo on the 23rd of February. 1 day before I registered. I must have been browsing the forum for a while before I made an account.

Check this out:

Virtual Coin is still the best, at least no BS attached.
If you really think that, then go take a look at the block explorer and tell me that some of the first blocks haven't been spent.
These blocks have a 1000+ coin reward and they HAVE been spent.

http://virtualcoin.info/block/00000dc5c29a3730a8aaa9d64585bc4a420ed63f37c3ed4f7bd22d749d34e838
http://virtualcoin.info/block/00000d6749af33e02c859aa8d646b8405e6cfb15e1c9bb00726d3b58ab015f80
http://virtualcoin.info/block/00000c0fba757443a2df88c162fe5e756586a5c6a968ba0db2ee78cc3745ee4a
http://virtualcoin.info/block/00000c74884c0db5f3430ce0e411ff66d83fc94b96f99f02e2532db53313ca07
http://virtualcoin.info/block/000001d448c87bba2d49c87519edfcd4a2674e1eec2273416767de4827a2b166

Click on the address it went to to see if the coins have been spent.
So 5 out of the first 10 blocks have been spent. Almost 13 000 coins.

Now you better not delete this post.

Stop bringing up that joke coin I was making. I already told you, I gave up. Stop bringing it up.

Now look, they call me a scammer after I give them evidence that the coin they are supporting is a scam. And they even remove the proof that I provided from their quote.

Virtual Coin is still the best, at least no BS attached.

We all users request you start your own thread. Most of us don't need that crap from you. I also suggest how hard it is for you to move on, I see you support that other coin, stay with that coin.

Dev, please delete his posts here, let him start another thread.  Angry Angry Angry
So you know this coin is a scam and you still support it? Why?
It isn't crap. It's the truth. Block explorers don't lie.

I know you have told me before that if I make the code changes you will accept it. The only way I could really fix this coin would be to do a coin swap. But I guess you wouldn't want me to anyway.

face of : e1ghtSpace

this Kid is SCAMMER with suck MOTOCOIN...your LIE kid, not us
This piece of sh*t even makes the image fckeight.jpg.

So who's with me? Btw the links to the block explorer used to work, not sure if they do now though.
Yes, that is a pic of me. The funny thing is that they got it off their own forum.
