BTW is there any reason why 135 blocks have been mined ? I even done some calculations and if you managed to mine the 40k coins per hour for 135hrs that would equate to 5.4M coins...

I'm just curious as to why there is so many blocks mined... Don't get me wrong I support FINDcoin but it seems weird to me considering you only had to make a genesis block and transfer the (Premine amounts) to the Faucet/Exchange/Bounties wallets

The reward is 0. The faucet distributes the coins not miners. We just mined those blocks to test it.

Faucet Distributed then (I'm used to calling it mined) but why is there 135 blocks already in existence ?
A lot of people will be asking the same thing, if it was a few e.g 1-10 Blocks that would be understandable for testing but 135... did you guys ever consider resetting blockchain or testing on a test network to make sure it worked prior ?

It wasn't my decision. What's so bad about 135 blocks?

Hello,

There are 135 mined blocks as we are moving the blockchain along with pow blocks that are worth 0, here is what I'm talking about:

We need to use them as we disabled staking on dev wallets, so no one has any stake funds to create pos blocks yet until faucet kicks in.

Dude, they are just for tests .. Smiley right, Quadmium show his wallet with zero "mined" transactions Smiley

Agree: hats off forma those guys mentioned by shinici.

I often read on bitcointalk of people complaining, hoping, bitching, wishing ...and so on without taking any action.

Those guys took care of thus project putting in a lot of efforts, exposing themselves to criticism and using a lot of their free time.

You have my admiration and respect, for what it matters.

Good job and good luck guys.

Thanks Mate, some of use really leave the free time to work on that, few leave all his free time to can make that project work, finally you all can see part from that work  Smiley I hope soon we can show to you all and the other parts  Cool

That's a lot better of an explanation & what was so bad about 135 blocks you ask ? Well prior to knowing this information that Quadmium just gave was that any average joe could come and cause havok if the reason wasn't explained e.g Undisclosed premine, greed, etc

I thank you guys for dealing with the questions appropriately Smiley

If something don't work, you can easy make .conf file:

1: go  in "C:\Users\(your user)\AppData\Roaming\FindCoin
2: make file "FindCoin.conf"   (check do you see the .conf, to be not hidden the ext., from the folder options)
3: open the "FindCoin.conf" file and paste in it:

testnet=0
listen=1
testnet=0
listen=1

if you have connections trouble make own .conf file, with:

Default config name is FindCoin.conf and goes in the wallet.dat directory.

It was voted that the Source be closed until after distribution to avoid Cheats editing the code.

The source code will be released after distribution has finished to stop people from altering certain aspects of it to cheat the system.
