Let's build a +1 pyramid until they(mos) make(s) one.

Bleh, just rename the FPGA one to FPGA/ASIC.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

It'll be time for an ASIC subforum when an ASIC miner exists.  Right now we have the promise of an ASIC [with specs/prices that scream its a scam] and nothing more.

Until the first ASIC product is verified, I do not think it's a good idea to create a sub forum.

Though even better would be a "speculative hardware" subforum.  Anything not available for third-party verification goes there.

The printing press heralded the end of the Dark Ages and made the Enlightenment possible, but it took another three centuries before any country managed to put freedom of the press beyond the reach of legislators.  So it may take a while before cryptocurrencies are free of the AML-NSA-KYC surveillance plague.

Hardware forum is good place for ASIC, there's no need to create next one. GPU is an ASIC so plenty topics already there (here).

Under development Modular UPGRADEABLE Miner (MUM). Looking for investors.
Changing one PCB with screwdriver and you have brand new miner in hand... Plug&Play, scalable from one module to thousands.

+ over 9000. Which, coincidentally, is the projected hashing power (in Gh/s) of my prototype quantum computing RNFP* device powered by patented 3HWW** technology. Can't show you the details yet, but I'm happy to accept your preorders.

I think that this would be the best idea going forward.  It would really clean up a lot of the current sub-forums.  Take all the 7990 stuff, Lancelot, almost everything BFL related and shove it all there.

Tired of substandard power distribution in your ASIC setup???   Chris' Custom Cablez will get you sorted out right!  No job too hard so PM me for a quote
