It seem that the block explorers on MultiFaucet ( http://www.multifaucet.tk/index.php?blockexplorer=LIMX ) and BlockExperts ( https://blockexperts.com/limx ) are on wrong chain.

Faucet at MultiFaucet does'nt payout to correct chain also.

The chain is correct. The Explorer is only stoped.  Undecided

What's masternode ? what does it do ?

hi  Wink

we have this describtion here:

Masternodes and the Proof of Service Reward Paradigm
In addition to traditional Proof of Work rewards for mining LimecoinX, users are also rewarded for running and maintaining special servers called “Masternodes”.
Though future plans envision several roles for Masternodes, their primary function is to carry out the anonymization phase of the Darksend protocol.  The service that Masternodes provide to the network is the beating heart of Darksend, which, in turn, is the defining feature of LimecoinX.
In return for providing this service, with each block mined, one Masternode is randomly selected by the network to receive 20% of the payout from that particular block.

In order to run a Masternode, users must put up 5000 LIMX as something akin to collateral, though unlike traditional collateral, the LimecoinX never leaves the user’s possession.  It can be moved or spent at any time by the user - doing so simply removes the Masternode from service and makes it ineligible to receive rewards.

----------------------
in short:

doing some service, securing & building the network + something like an interest system....in the future, external apps could use these masternodes for blockchain services, too.

BTC has nothing like this

It's a COPY-and PASTE from DASH

www.dashpay.io

don't let anybody fool you

Credit of "work done" around here is very hard to come by

I wrote the 'How-to' for setting up a MasterNode, for LIMX but you won't see my name on the Page:
https://github.com/LIMX-SUPPORT/LimecoinX/blob/master/doc/build-masternode.md

That's my work - nobody else's......

your guide is this here http://forum.limx.eu/index.php?topic=10.0

and this is the rewritten guide based on your guide https://github.com/LIMX-SUPPORT/LimecoinX/blob/master/doc/build-masternode.md

i can add your user username in the source, if wished  Wink

-------------------------------------------

isnt that sentence enough of my first post in this thread? just throw in an additional describtion....

LimeCoinX is the Second Generation of LimeCoin a cryptocurrency based in DarkCoin using X11 as a proof-of-work algorithm.
Super secure hashing algorithm: 11 rounds of scientific hashing functions (blake, bmw, groestl, jh, keccak, skein, luffa, cubehash, shavite, simd, echo)

if you read the other informations you can see that we honor evan several times....https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=895425.0

0.11.2.17 Release notes Limecoinx Core 0.11.2.17 is forked off the Dash Core 0.11.2.17. The old limecoinx versions 0.9.1.4 was forked from the Darkcoin 0.9.1.0 tree. The following changes are introduced in this major release.

---------------------------

@babylon99 - to answer correct: limx uses the bitcoin technology, like dash currency, too + uses the additional technology from dash / dark (x11 mastenodes, etc.) in an own fork....the blockchain technology is the same as bitcoin.
