Why exactly the two ring chains must have the same color?
There's no reason.
Note the lack of contrast between orange/olive/green.
Consider red(?)/green/blue/orange/olive. Or, if you want to keep the gradient, have it repeat twice instead of having two chain rings in sequence.
As it stands now, I see ... Qs.

Here is my vision of Unitus branding.

I think the chain should be flat color, white or black or can be used in any other color as design requires. It leaves more room for creativity.

This was just a quick version - ill modify it and upload the higher res version with some tweaks

edit: another version with a few tweaks and different sizing so it sits a little better on the ann page
