and then they are getting faster every week! That is part of the new Variance mechanism (VPOS) 


rates a as following:

1week  => 0.5%
2weeks => 1%
3weeks => 1%
4weeks => 1.5%
5weeks  => 1.5%
6weeks => 3%
8weeks++ => 5%


EXCEPT short after Hardfork where you will have an

early adopter bonus stake of 10%

for three weeks

( 72h until staking start )

and another thing a friend of mine was on the erc website to download blockchain to not have to sync whole from start, but he said it didnt work and that the files where like 7Mb big only? that cant be correct if thats the case, should be atleast a few hundreds of Mb. Anyway he started to sync block from start but that will take forever and i cant acces my own files until im home. Can you look it up when you have some time left?

No, thats is what i meant with "they are staking right from beginning ..."
You don’t have to wait any more. Instead of that, staking will begin nearly immediately.
The staking percentage was just meant as additional information, because the mechanism is
relevant to the question, WHY you will not have to wait any more.

if you are still unsure, don’t hesitate to ask again
its sometimes not easy to properly transport informations via foreign languages.

Bootstrap: Yeah i wonder also, how this could be right with 7MB. I will wait with  uploading a new chain for now,
but will do this immediately after the Hardfork.

No, thats is what i meant with "they are staking right from beginning ..."
You don’t have to wait any more. Instead of that, staking will begin nearly immediately.
The staking percentage was just meant as additional information, because the mechanism is
relevant to the question, WHY you will not have to wait any more.

Oh ok, but thats how it will work after fork? its not supposed to be like that now? used coincontrol yesterday to get rid of all the small ones. and just got message: doesnt stake because coins isnt matured. 

Ok thanks, he wanted to catch up with chain before fork to avoid any problems. but will see if i can get a hold of my info as soon as im home then and hope its enough time to make it.

everybody please read very carefully:



small adjustment:

we have a problem with the Server which holds the Master Private Key for checkpoints.
We have reasons to think that the server with the old private key is still running on the network
It created a fork (on which Bittrex is and also all the wallets which are not up to date).

Inconveniently we will have to sort this out very quickly. So i ask you to do the following,
to get rid of risks like this



1) first of all everybody close his wallet.

2) second delete the blockchain and the peers.dat and the europecoin.conf

3) third create a new europecoin.conf with following

daemon=1
rpcport=xxxxx
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
port=xxxxx
rpcuser=ercwhatever
rpcpassword=xxxxxxxx
addnode=167.114.224.79
addnode=167.114.224.82


then redownload the new wallet again, we updated it and blocked his server
after installing open it and let it (yes i know its t.f. annoying ) resync.

congrats you are done and secure



No need to panic: our blockchain monitoring turned out to be excellent once again,
Everything is already back on track and running smooth, this is just to make sure that you are also secure
and to make sure that something like that never can happens again.

you may shortly see some random services to disable ERC  if they feel, like having to resync too.

I transferred quite a bit of ERC from Bittrex about 24 hours ago.  When did the fork occur?

Is the Block Explorer on the right chain?

we think, (95%) the fork should have been happening around block 813074

hope that helps a bit

blockexplorer has to resync also, but will not need to long,
given its powered by four full permanent nodes from bitnodes.net

So, what about the Mac wallet and I now have only 1 connection so has the fork happened? You said at 820000?? I'm at block 813628 and the explorer is at 813073 so I guess I'm on the wrong chain. Can you please fix the Mac wallet so I don't loose all the coins...

Yes i am sure most coins have once experienced this, i would expect even bitcoin having done that in early days yes.
I am so happy that we are having a service like staisybit in our infrastructure.
Services like this are nonstop monitoring the landscape of their blockchains in realtime.
That leaves us in a position, to be able, to detect and fix problems right in the very moment they are occuring.
That is an  advantage, that many so called premium coins, can only dream of.

i agree that this will be the outcme very soon, but not yet ... at least for ERCs generation,
witch is not the same as Diamond that is if i am not wrong more that twice that old
and in network terms doubtless stronger. Also the selection process is more advanced in your generation.
You are competing against a few that survived and we have just survived the first selection of the race-candidates (but we are in yeah)
All in all correct! I also see altcoins in the not that long term as more powerful.
Not only because of innovation, but more even  because every coin emerges out of the hardest competition i ever experienced anywhere.

NO COIN in this environment has his position without reason, without achieving at least something.
That is the school where predators are born, to take over markets and to challenge Central Bank and achieve real change.
Thanks for Bitcoin, but that job will be ours, i am sure.
