Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Not my BTC but they sound like good choices.
Mine @ pools that pay Tx fees & don't mine empty blocks :: kanopool :: ckpool ::
Should bitmain create LPM for all models?

I'd give a lot more to ck and kano.  Just about every piece of ASIC hardware out there uses cgminer.  That's for a reason.
