Hello, im here for my 1st ever bit coin and im trying to learn more.
here's my lotto entry:

13GCwdibEafe33kLw35rjVvp37h3tCMtZF

Thanks Portnoy

Fcking liar!

No lie my friend. I just read half of bitcoin wikipedia page last night and didnt understand half of what i read!! haha. i went home and slept early from the internet shop last night because i got bored. So far i already have a little idea of where the money supply is coming from, whose confirming who with the trans and all the other etcetera. i wont even try an bother understanding the 'mining', the 'hash' and all that crazy technical talk because im afraid i would bleed nosebleed to death. haha. Its also because i dont process my mind in the english language so it would take time in understanding translating some of the hi tech english words. Im hoping to find some more lighter articles of the subject here in the internet.
I am a total newbie. I dont have any experience in any internet transactions. My niece talk me out of it because she knows his uncle is an old stubborn hippy haha and despise the current banking system screwing our assholes. lol.
So far, im loving the idea. there is a little liberating feeling behind it. Im just a poor and handicapped, poverty stricken jobless mid aged man from a third world country, trying to enjoy life, and im a little futurist myself lol and listen to singularity talks. So, i think i could see a lot of good idea in this biitcoin trading, the global monetary systems should evolve into this. I could see a prosperous future for the entire civilization in this system of trading. The privacy, the efficiency, etcetera, its all there! I just hope it doesnt turn out to be some scam of some sort. I mean, I just checked my bitcoin wallet in the other tab with 0.00003 bitcoin already in it! (im so happy). i didnt owe anyone from the services i did, its all my 'money' right, i earned it? Fuck all banks the corporate assholes and every politician in this planet!
Forgive my ranting and poor English my friend. Now where else can i earn some bitcoins? I dont mind watching other ugly peoples garbage webpages for some bitcoin tonight. I just hope they allow me to smoke in this joint else I'd puke all over the place. lol
Cheers friend.

Dude, are you a Noypi? Wink Btw welcome to the world of Bitcoin Grin
Thanks, and ya dude. a purebred noypi earthling from mindanao...

You are lucky too.  You just joined and already you won today's draw.
( I use random.org, in case anyone is interested, to get a true random number every day and today it gave me #36, the last number added to the draw list. )

But 2 or 3 of the sites said that your address has already been used today and so didn't pay out.  You should use another address when you are checking these sites yourself.

BitCrate:

But it is currently empty.

I'd like to add MinecraftCC's project, Mine For Bitcoins (AKA The Minecraft Faucet), to the list.  It currently (and for the forseeable future) pays 10 satoshis per block modified in the world, but I hope to increase that payout even further with incoming donations.

http://www.minecraftcc.com/index.php?threads/information-about-getting-paid-to-mine.4613/
Server IP: play.minecraftcc.com

If you'd like to donate to the faucet, please sent any amount to 13m8dAb16KqWv7v9oEsr97mYMXbynR6CoD.  I am funding this out of my own pocket so far, but only have so much I can afford to give away on a monthly basis. It really is a great way to introduce new people to Bitcoin.  I've had more than two dozen players sign on to getting paid in Bitcoin now, (and more adding on every day), most of whom have never used Bitcoins before.  Some people give out casascius coins to tell people about Bitcoin, which is great, but you can reach so many more people by putting that 1 BTC towards a project like this.

You would be better if you make your game pay to play on a daily basis, where currency accepted are Bitcoins or any other stable coin.
By making it pay to play, you'll have people playing the game more time, in order to compensate for invested coins. For those not having
any coins now, it would be nice incentive to start getting some - for real cash, using other free bitcoin websites or even by mining them!
I disagree.  I already have a large userbase, and requiring that they (most of whom have never used Bitcoin) pay Bitcoin on a daily basis would ensure expedited decimation of said userbase.  They are not the sort of crowd to have a lot of extra money on hand.

On the upside, average server population seems to have very nearly doubled since introducing this promotion, and I have several dozen people now using Bitcoin who would not have otherwise used it.  I'd call that a success!

I've fixed a major server issue at Bitcoiner.net, so it should load almost immedietaly now Smiley. By the way what would you say about limiting number of prizes per day? Then only ~400 people will be able to get bitcoins each day, but I'll be able to raise average value a bit Smiley (I'd like to have ~0.0001 BTC per prize)

Unless stated otherwise, all opinions are of my own, not FaucetBOX.com's.

That is a lot faster now.  Smiley

I suppose it would depend on how you did it.  I can see some people not having a chance at getting any, based on their timezone, if the limited number of prizes came available at the same time everyday.

Here is how this new lotto will work.

If you are a newbie1 and you make a comment in this thread, even if it is just to say "thanks" or "hello", include a bitcoin address in the main
area of the post, or explicitly point to it in your signature ( don't PM me or make me search for it ), and I will number it and add it to a database.

Every time I do my check on these free bitcoin sites ( usually daily ) I will use a random number generator to pick one entry from that
database and use that address in the check of the sites for that particular day2.

Your address will stay in the database and have a chance of being chosen in every draw ( usually daily ).
One address per account please. I will reply to your post to confirm that I have added it to the database.
Make sure to submit an address that you will not be using in your own daily check of these sites or else it may be rejected by
many of these sites.

Here is the contents of the db so far ( This is an example of how it looks right now. I won't come back to this post to update this list
but just update the database itself ):

1 karlzt    1E9gnhT4DY1gPxDFNg1ptR3Z5RCzmGchJr
2 textish    1N8pBiXqLPD27y2v2od44PM7daLXsLqfde
3 jonflow   1JBXDbc5DEN65syn8xXfeeEZfWURZ1pL4
4 bachus   1o1zuero29orZxs8CsZ2Gzep5NPFT463a
5 KB5988   1EHozR4b2HWAfkGYp7kdcGEXyL82vbJZmR

If you aren't on that list and feel you should be I hope you will know how to get added.   Wink
If you are on the list and would like to be removed just let me know in this thread or by PM.

Any questions or suggestions?

1 I will try not to be too strict in the definition of "newbie"... I hope something like common sense will prevail and someone who has been here
for months and posted hundreds of times will understand the spirit of this as being to welcome and help out new members of the community,
and so will not apply.

2 I won't use the chosen address in hourly checks of sites that give out BTC hourly. Just one check per site and if the site happens to be
down or rejects the address for any reason that will just be that address owner's bad luck... next time that address gets chosen, and there
is a good chance of that with so few entries so far, you may have better luck.  Also some sites do one time payouts or give out MTGox codes
or require sign-ups or downloads etc... I won't use the chosen address for sites like that.

This contest may change or be discontinued at any time. I will try to announce ahead of time if something like that happens.

So I am Evan, and I think I get Bitcoins at 1PtHcavXoakgNkQfEQdvnvEksEY2NvwaLM

I am poor, but i do work for Coin Smiley
