coinurl.com is not on the same server as opfab.

there was a power outage in the switzerland datacenter where opfab is.  we might just move it to a different server if they keep that up.

TERRIBLY sorry about the server slowness.  I have upgraded coinurl.com's server to over double the memory (now 32GB) and the hard drive was a 2TB now it's a 120GB SSD so it should be MUCH faster for the database.  new server should be live tonight, I got it mostly set up yesterday.  tried for days to tune our 16GB server but there are just too many requests for it to handle.

I am working with someone who will do a rewrite of the coinurl.com banner distribution code so we can handle 1000x more requests, I guess when the orig owner set it up he hadn't had resources in mind.

Thanks for the explanation.

CoinURL got it's server upgraded! Yay!

The 32GB in the server is amazing, so much headroom, and the SSD just made a world of difference.

Since the server writes to the database constantly, there were tons of tiny little writes coming in every second of every day, and the spinning disk could not keep up.  The SSD can handle very well with random reads and writes, so I think we can expect great performance for a long time!

Yes, all these sites are a lot faster today.  Thanks.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

bit visitor is paying out instantly  Shocked

for just looking at websites

http://www.bitvisitor.com/

Just before you start shaking, sweating and getting all over excited about it, remember the amounts you receive are tiny and you will be unable to actually send them anywhere. Well you can, but the transaction fee will be higher than the actual amount your sending.

Try it if you don't believe me.

Yes, if one tries to send them anywhere right away.  It is best to let me age a while and/or include them as inputs in transactions with larger amounts.

Try Instawallet.org then, you will not pay fees anymore. You have to send 0,01 BTC or more though.

From all your posts it seems to me like your saying there is no way to get a decent amount of bitcoins easy without paying for them. Or mining witch i cannot do. There has to be a way.

In life if you want anything of value then you have to work for it. Why would Bitcoins be any different? Bitcoins currently are hot. Everyone wants them (in the Bitcoin world anyway.) Why would others give you a decent amount for free?

It seems to me you feel that the world owes you something. Trust me. It doesn't.

How long using bitvisitor do you think it will take till you've collected greater than 0.01 BTC then? Day, Week, Month?
Might as well just buy them and save a ton of time.

Easybitco.in is a scam site !!
The owners made the site go offline about week before payout day, because they were "fixing bugs".
Than re-opened it after payout day and I see by looking at the number of registered accounts at the bottom that the site has now only 2 registered members, meaning they deleted ALL the old accounts without paying out earnings.

Yes I never got paid and can't log in to my account. (and can't retrieve my password either, email is not found in database)
I never reached the payout limit though, so I never had a change to attempt a payout.

The site only had 2 registers members for many days after the site got back up. Seems like many new members registered in the last few days, or maybe that number counter isn't accurate at all.

You are right Easybitco.in cleared database when restarted operation. The reason was many peoples scammed. While I dont agree with the way the site handled the situation, you may try email them and request the old ballance, I myselves got it this way.

Probably free.btc.pt if you catch it at the right time, when there are lots of videos to view.
