Oh, heck - because I can't post anywhere else yet I'll pull a good old AOL and say me too please!  Wink

1AB6S7wB7Hd6MCWUy71sMuxsD2mWxHoD98

Out of curiosity has anyone gotten a reasonable amount of BTC from visiting the fountains and other giveaway sites?  Total of more than 0.01BTC?  I don't mean sites where you actually have to do something like look at ads, browse clickbait sites, etc.

Since you specify no parameters related to time/duration/frequency, the answer is a definite "yes".   Wink

One of the new ones BitCats.net has been knocked offline as well. It could come back up at anytime in theory tho.

Probably a traffic issue. Hit F5 some times * and it'll come

* Some times:
First time I tried, It came after the first F5-attack
Second time I needed 5 F5s
And just now it was enough with three

Edit:
The F5-trick don't seem to work anymore

It was working for me at the time GoldBit mentioned it but now it is down for me too.

And has anyone been getting any payouts from bunnyrun lately?

i played bunnyrun from 09/05/2014 to 02/05/2015 earning 3rd or 4th place each time and still have them in my wallet as unconfirmed.
On 03/05/2015 i got 2nd place and have yet to see that one come to my wallet at all so i stopped playing as even 1st place is below the min. transaction fee rule and i have sent correspondence to bunnyrun seeing if they would hold payments til over min but have not gotten a reply back yet.

Thanks for the report. I haven't heard anything from nima in a long time either.
I will mark it with an * for now since it has been around so long and paying out reliably but I won't wait long before taking it off the list if it doesn't start paying out soon. It's already been a while since it has paid out.

UPDATE: All my BunnyRun unconfirmed transactions dating back to 5-21-2013 were confirmed today. The only one that has not reached my wallet was the 2nd place finish i got on the 30th but i think the new fee rule was in place so it wouldnt have been relayed to me. so i played it again tonight to see if i get a unconfirmed transaction or if maybe they are now holding until a certain balance. I will update when i know more.

 Smiley thanks,

Here is how this new lotto will work.

If you are a newbie1 and you make a comment in this thread, even if it is just to say "thanks" or "hello", include a bitcoin address in the main
area of the post, or explicitly point to it in your signature ( don't PM me or make me search for it ), and I will number it and add it to a database.

If you don't have a Bitcoin address yet, one of the best ways to get one - in terms of ease of use and safety - is to go here: https://blockchain.info/wallet

Every time I do my check on these free bitcoin sites ( usually daily ) I will use a random number generator to pick one entry from that
database and use that address in the check of the sites for that particular day2.

Your address will stay in the database and have a chance of being chosen in every draw ( usually daily ).
One address per account please. I will reply to your post to confirm that I have added it to the database.

Update:
Now that the newbie lotto is six months old the number of total entries will be capped at 900 ( it is just a little above that now, so I will make that the cap instead of 1000 as I was considering before ).

That means that for every new entry, from now on, the oldest entry in the db will be removed.  That will also mean that once you enter the lotto you should be in the database and eligible to win everyday ( even if you have won already you will stay in the db ) for at least six months ( depending on how many people enter. The number of entries seems to be slowing down so one will probably be in the db for longer than six months ).

Also watch for bonus draws from time to time. See more about that here.

Make sure to submit an address that you will not be using in your own daily check of these sites or else it may be rejected by
many of these sites, if you happen to win, since most of these sites don't allow the same address to be submitted more than
once on the same day.

Here is the contents of the db so far ( This is an example of how it looks right now. I won't come back to this post to update this list
but just update the database itself ):

1 karlzt    1E9gnhT4DY1gPxDFNg1ptR3Z5RCzmGchJr
2 textish    1N8pBiXqLPD27y2v2od44PM7daLXsLqfde
3 jonflow   1JBXDbc5DEN65syn8xXfeeEZfWURZ1pL4
4 bachus   1o1zuero29orZxs8CsZ2Gzep5NPFT463a
5 KB5988   1EHozR4b2HWAfkGYp7kdcGEXyL82vbJZmR

If you aren't on that list and feel you should be I hope you will know how to get added.   Wink
If you are on the list and would like to be removed just let me know in this thread or by PM.

Any questions or suggestions?

--

1 I will try not to be too strict in the definition of "newbie"... I hope something like common sense will prevail and someone who has been here
for months and posted hundreds of times will understand the spirit of this as being to welcome and help out new members of the community,
and so will not apply.

2 I won't use the chosen address in hourly checks of sites that give out BTC hourly. Just one check per site and if the site happens to be
down or rejects the address for any reason that will just be that address owner's bad luck... next time that address gets chosen, and there
is a good chance of that with so few entries so far, you may have better luck.  Also some sites give out MTGox codes or require sign-ups or
downloads etc... I won't use the chosen address for sites like that. Also I won't be able to use the chosen address on sites that require
multiple submissions on multiple occasions before a payout is sent ( e.g. sites that use coinbox.me ).

This contest may change or be discontinued at any time. I will try to announce ahead of time if something like that happens.

Hey Portnoy long time I posted here

I did not know if you covered how some the Bitcoin Faucet sites payout now if not here you go

Make sure you check Coinbox.me to see when the next pay out is from these Faucets sites that participate
in this sites program:  http://www.coinbox.me/

They provide a system that allows websites to make micro bitcoin transactions. This way small transactions can be done after the 5430 restriction.

When a website sends you a small payment using our service, we save it in a temporal wallet. When your temporal wallet reaches a certain amount of money, you get paid normally to your bitcoin address. No blockchain spam.

Because I mention this someone posted on my topic (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=195260.msg2029285#msg2029285) the question:
Has anyone been paid from these faucets? I tried a few of them a couple of days ago, and haven't received anything.

This is the only likely solution I can think of for him.

Thanks Portnoy for this awesome topic  Wink

Have fun earning BTC  Grin

We've touched on it here in this topic.  coinbox is a good idea. Hopefully more of these faucets can start to use it.

Btw, bitcats has been down for a few days now.
