the problem is that many people i believe are stuck with a bad cinni wallet like mine. everything i transmit appears to work in the wallet but doesn't actually get broadcasted to the actual cinni blockchain. i've therefore burned my cinni and have the stk open for nothing. the dev is offering his help in very few words and i find it really hard not to get mad given that i have bought cinni back in the day when it cost 15000 satoshi.
wake up and smell the roses nobody gives a fuck is what i can take from my cinni experience and i don't see how with this kind of lack of implication this coin is going to end up anywhere.
i mean, people that have coins on mintpal are given the coins just like that and me who had the decency to keep my coins staking in the wallet, i get fucked in the ass by a bunch of steps that are impossible to take in order to get the new coins.
and you know what the dev told me? he told me i didn't do the steps correctly... that's why my transactions don't get broadcasted. after i waited for fucking days for the cinni chain to download countless times in order to try and fix the bad wallet issue. i've spoken to cryptsy, i've tried to contact on facebook and even here multiple times with the same sarcastic fucking smug answers:

hi, please help me out.

I've tried to send some of my cinnis to cryptsy. Transaction id's

the transactions don't show in the blockchain, i have redownloaded the blockchain and it did not fix the issue. i have attempted repairwallet and it managed to recover 800 out of 1500 missing coins. the faulty transactions still show up in my transaction history and i'm not sure if i can move my coins or not or what i'm supposed to do.

Please help if you can.

hi, i keep on refreshing the my messages page in hope that you have an answer to my issue. it's been over a week now, i realise you must have a lot on your plate but i need to know what i can do. i don't want to risk sending more cinnis to the exchanges and having them end up nowhere.
hello
you can export your private key into a new wallet.dat and resync blockchain
or simply hold your coins because they will be worth alot in cinni 2.0

please man help me out. i've tried the swap but i have the same wallet issues as before. when i send cinni coins the wallet crashes constantly and gives me the error that the coins have already been spent(and the coins that i've send before the error get broadcasted and disapear from the wallet but they aren't in the blockchain). i don't know what to do and lack the technical skills to figure this out by myself. i would really apreciate some help, cinni has hurt me a lot(all of my coins have been bought at a very high price)

regards
codrin
hi export your addresses that contain the cinni into a new wallet.dat and rescan
and then you can send cinni

the export feature in the wallet does not work. the wallet is in sync
could you possibly tell me or point me to step by step instructions on how to do that? thanks.
open coin control
see list view
open console
type : dumpprivkey <address>
you get the private key
import it in new wallet.dat in console type importprivkey <privkey> name true

i did what you have told me and i'm burning the coins in really small batches(first it would let me send 500 through and now only 300) the problem is that none of my transactions get any confirms... is that a problem?
i'm taking the rest of the steps with the stk wallet. i hope eveything turns out ok. i'd really appreciate if you would see me through this transition.

you have some good points there and I can see why you're frustrated.

Is there perhaps a trusted member of the team who does have a correct working wallet that can help these people trade their cinni's for Stake?

however dont use the corrupted wallet.dat in that.
let it make a new wallet.dat itself, and import the keys into it

I had no trouble, my Cinni wallet was backed up and I didn't have a blockchain. This is how I got mine working and was able to send on the correct chain.

I downloaded most of the blockchain from here.

I was lucky with the Bootstrap.dat and I share now a ZIP of the CINNICOIN appdata folder without the wallet.dat
https://sendit.wur.nl/Download.aspx?id=75365252-08d8-42d0-8be7-22aaa7e37f16
Max 20 downloads in 3 days

Along with the newest qt wallet 1.1 from here.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/li0jvj0v9bekb0r/CinniCoin_1.1_win32_2014-06-23.7z

Synced up to the latest block with an empty wallet.dat, made a backup of it and copied the receive address to notepad. Closed Cinni and replaced the wallet.dat with my backup that has all the cinni I bought. I had multiple receive addresses so I sent cinni to the first wallet address. After I was all done I closed cinni again, swiched wallet files around and started up. Everything was there. I did do a test of 100 cinni first so this process did take some time as the cinni wallet takes a while to open each time.

Oh yeah, my cinni wallet backup had old coins in it that would stake when unlocked, even if it was a quick unlock for sending coins. I knew that it would cause not responding problems so I unlocked it and let them stake. When the staking stopped I started to send to the first wallet.

I had no issues, it was just a slow process.

Along with the newest qt wallet 1.1 from here.

Synced up to the latest block with an empty wallet.dat, made a backup of it and copied the receive address to notepad. Closed Cinni and replaced the wallet.dat with my backup that has all the cinni I bought. I had multiple receive addresses so I sent cinni to the first wallet address.
