How long did it take to find it, and with what hardware?
Hardware: AMD hexa core + Nvidia 5xx card It took me 9 months but mostly it didn't ran @full speed. Last months, vanitygen ran only occasionally @low speed due to stability problems + extra electricity bill. Yes, it could have been much faster. Now, I don't have the 1 111111 which I hoped to get (originally) but a cool 31 char address instead + some other cool vanity addresses from the wishlist with ~1000 prefixes. I'm satisfied

Impressive, thanks for sharing it here. Added to the hall of fame.

Accidently generated a pretty silly address (while trying to generate a name starting with "WebT"). It does not really mean anything, but they are 3 properly formatted words that are pretty well pronouncable. 1WebTekpySymortRGt9xy8LZ3Pejj5s2u Web Tekpy Symort. Get it?

How about a 12 character two word address? Is it hall of fame worthy?

Like the 1st and 3rd one... anyone have an idea how long each takes to generate with normal CPU usage? I'm thinking of getting me one.

LOL it's funny. Does the public address 1234567891011... exists? If it does, we won't find the private key to this one anytime soon!

Like the 1st and 3rd one... anyone have an idea how long each takes to generate with normal CPU usage? I'm thinking of getting me one. At the time, I could search 30 million addresses a second, and I was searching for well over 100 different prefixed....That computer was using 2 Graphics cards and ran most of the summer of 2013, I have thousands of addresses on a USB key.. I did this for a project , at the time was way over my head. The project was for the branding of bitcoins with paper wallets for long term storage.... Sorta like a mining stock certificate from way back when.... 1BG4MinerEFv1raJycU7mkc5Bb8Tm21kZw 1ooooooXEEMX3VZANSYWg6Na8o6XhFPvd 1GooGLENHF5qVhatsHyUsyczdj6XJR54xd 1BitcoinhqMmNrqnBKvdHeA4vmzb4uvuSg 1TENCoin7kecDVyEmuiwKE8Y7mqLLEo1s 1USACoiN3BiPC87AUUMpHg5TvLjUnKEks 1MyTipJarsnwEHAdE6H9BSvCtv5aUG4tkG 1BTCSaves51HfxTygLgGX2EcUgT6A1pyvK

unique addresses some times receive plenty of tips. the weirder your address the more tips you get. i tried to generate a very unique address but it took way too long and without success.
