I don't have a problem when there is a reasonable effort put into Nigerian economy. Nevertheless there is still this image most of us have thinking about Nigeria.

Why did you pick this country and not any other in Africa?

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

One of the main reasons why we launch coin with Bitstake was to get people to beta test our features and developed based on the feedback. Around launch, we already started that the coin was developed by a paid developer. That how Bitstake was linked to other past coins on this forum.

If bitstake was created by regular crypto devs, It will never have gained popularity that Bitstake has in Nigeria.

About the accusations, they have been addressed and these people kept posting the same comments all over again.

If Bitstake is a scam,

We will not have created XBS without presale and premine. Even majority of startup backed by VC with millions in funding had premine and presale.

We will not have spent the last 4 months working developing this project, without any community donations.

We will not have locked out foreigners from depositing XBS into the trading because there's no way to cash out into a Nigerian bank.

We will not have released thousands of XBS and blackcoin locked in the multi stake during the time out caused by bug.

We will not have any explosure on Nigerians blogs and newspaper and other bitcoin newsite.

We will not have delayed the launch because we needed more time improving the site and adding new features.

The correct way to launch a coin of this type would have been to have the remittance infrastructure in place and then launch the coin when it could actually be used.  The way it went the coin was launched first, then came the promises, delays, etc... just like all the other failed coin projects that never intend to deliver and are just a vehicle to increase the wealth of a few individuals before being abandoned and the parties involved move on to their next scheme.

What is the value that you would put on a coin that you described? Let's say there are about 1.3 MILL coins in existence and stakes at 5% a year. At the moment of launch the entire project's infrastructure is built and placed in your lap with 0 native users. How would you distribute that coin out? What is the value of 1 of those coins, $.01, $1, $242.22? (Sidenote it sounds like from other statements of yours that your belief is only for btc so I would think you might be able to relate to this problem) And this is a start-up company, you took the "start-up" from it. Wouldn't it be better for the value of the coin to grow in value as adoption truly grows?

The whole xcloud saga was brought up at launch before and below was the response.

Why do you keep deleting my posts?  Won't you need that evidence when you sue me in court?

Ha ha ha

Loser

Do you know that the forum keeps achieve of deleted post ?

Rather than deleting posts and threatening people, why don't you prove it's not a scam?

For example, when is that shitty website supposed to go live?  Considering this concept has been used in past scams, how do we know this is not the same situation?

Even though we have highly skilled developers on the team nor of us have developed a cryptocurrency before since we want the launch to be smooth and fork free. We enlisted the help of a developer on the forum offering coin creation which comes with the landing page development.

The twitter account was registered on Jan 7 http://snag.gy/DSPaJ.jpg. They claimed it was a previous handle which again is false.

Bitstake team is not associated with any other coins or pump group either bitswift, bitsquare etc.

3 _ we are still in beta- Even other bitcoin startup that tried to enter Nigerian market doesn't gain a lot of attention in Nigeria expect on coindesk and other bitcoin news site.

Bitstake became a Trending Topic on Nigerian Twitter feeds.

The coin could simply be distributed the same way coins typically are.  Mining, ICO, givaway, etc...   The difference being that the project is complete and the coins can actually be used for their intended purpose immediately.  Currently coins are released with an outline of a project and a roadmap stretching way into the future that will likely never be completed.  And even if it is, the typical goals are nothing that will ever provide a path for widespread adoption.  Mobile wallets are not a game changer.

People are currently mining and buying into coins with nothing but fancy graphics and boilerplate verbiage.  Logically people would mine a coin that already had a working product.  But then again, since the altcoin world has become nothing more than just one big worldwide online casino, people may not even be interested in an actual product.

Both https://www.ziftrcoin.com/ and http://www.neucoin.org/en/ launched their presale without a product.

As a startup, you want to get out there as quick as possible. Currently, Bitstake have upperhand than any bitcoin exchange that plan to launch today with all their service ready. We already built our customer base.

Lastly, the website is nearly done. People are buying manually until the verification system for user profile is done. https://bitstake.co/

It is mostly a US problem.  Here in America people don't realize how manipulated they are by the media.  They know nothing about the world outside US borders beyond what they see on CNN or FOX news.  We have people that still think Obama is setting up internment camps and is ready to declare martial law and take their guns.  It's hilarious.  The majority of Americans are brainwashed by the media.

Agree with that! But to continue...

Have you actually been on the site and checked it out? Or in the Slack channel? Again, maybe this is because your a btc guy but they dont really care about btctalk. How many Nigerians are on btctalk? In stead of spending time on here debunking people whose only proof of "scam" is that promises made by other devs or projects "sorta" sounds like bitstake. Except they have done alot more than what the other projects promised and have explained themselves in slack everytime a deviation from plan has happened. I'd rather they be on Nairaland. If you haven't heard of that before that's a good thing, you really think the target audience of bitstake users are on here?
