HANSA is made with Proof of Job
Proof of job coins are funded in escrow account on alcurEX.
PoJ coins can withdraw only for project payments which are publicly informed in this thread.

This means that anyone who wants to join the HANSA project, can do it.
There is a premine of around 2.5% for PoJ bounty rewards.
If you think you have the skills and time to do any of the open jobs listed on http://hansacoin.com/infopage/,
please contact us (hansacoin@gmx.com or btctalk hansacoin) and the reward will be marked to you.
When your work is ready, the bounty reward will be sent to you.
Please, it is very important first to contact us to get your bounty reward.
This way we all know what work is already in progress.

You can propose new jobs for the list. There are 94850 HANSA left for extra projects.
Note!: All HANSA jobs and projects will be published under Open Source MIT License (MIT).

Well actually currently there is no any crypto;
with easy to use, provider free, block chain verified cart payment modules.
And
Because cart module and block chain verificate code will be open source, HANSA payment modules will be easy to modify for all cryptos on the future.

So you propose to pay by card in crypto currency in stores and other places where it is possible to use credit cards?

Not sure if I understand you right but,

HANSA will be alternative payment method for credit card payments like bitcoin is.

As we know, shopping cart systems have different payment modules (for PayPal, credit cards, bank wire etc.etc)
HANSA shopping cart module will offer easy to use payment module, so customers can buy with HansaCoin.

Merchants can collect HansaCoin payments directly in any Hansa wallet address they want to.

Currently merchants need to use 3. party payment provider, or wallet/account integration for payment process verification.
HANSA payment module is way more easy to use and will offer provider free cart modules for all major shopping cart systems.

I'm in..
but the community is not joining..

My laptop HD crash and take loong time to dig all I need from backups.
But all safe and wallet will be release on time.

There is 100 empty blocks so no one can't say it instamined.
And it will give time to get pools and miners ready.
Sure you can solomine as well.
Fair lauch is important value on future when cryptos are more common.

Counted and diff is retargeting in every block correctly.
All is fine so far.
HANSA is now officially Opensource crypto.
I hope there is technical guys who are interest about this project.
Job bounties are pretty nice amount and early coins will grow most, because 10% stake is live from begin.

Next step is get HANSA to several Exchanges. Right?  Wink

Pre-mine seems a little large, if it had been smaller we may have looked at adding you to CryptNZ.

To put in perspective, you would have to mine every single block for roughly 5 days to have the equivalent to the same as the pre-mine (at the 200 reward per block) which is equal to ~3387 Blocks.

The bigger problem we see is that essentially the pre mine is already rather large (2.5%) and the fact that the block rewards are low and get even lower quite fast.

So essentially they will "own" the majority of the network for quite some time.
Which we see as a rather big risk for our traders and customers hence the decision not to list HANSA.

Im not worried about the pre-mine. Hansa has already put in alot of work prior to the launch. Hansa has been transparent with what funds will be used for. I hope this stays in practice for a long time. The fair launch was a good idea. Everything in the Github readme was better than most coin launches.

A large pre-mine is always a sword over a dev's head and a ball chained to his leg. He will never get rid of those until he gets rid of the pre-mine and many devs do just that.

Haha  Cheesy
Let me clarify about "2.5% premine".
All mined coins are under Proof of Job.
This means: There is Open jobs with bounty reward.
Any one can make that job and get reward.
If I make it, I'll get reward. If you want to do it, you will get reward.
Everyone can see when job is done.
For Marketing jobs, I will mark who is project maker, so everyone can look if there is marketing campage running.

This is why I call that Proof of Job, not premine. No one will not get any PoJ coins without finishing project.

Personally I hope this will be common way to handle premined coins on future.
I mean reward claimed for open projects and everyone can take a job.
This is one kind of new feature with HANSA.

Bigger news is, HANSA aims to be first coin with Auto-Verification Payment plugins.

I still don't like the idea of any pre-mine as it's too easy for the dev to just dump it and vanish, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying you will do that, it's just always a possibility

Btcpool.exchange is run by good people. I say we give them a chance until a well known exchange opens their doors to Hansa. We all have to start somewhere. In the crypto realm you really cant trust anyone. I could name a few exchanges that hurt our community MtGox, Bter, MyCoin, Crypto-Trade, BTCXChange,CryptoRush.in and thats just a few. So, lets be grateful for Hansa's first exchange.

Hello there.
Your page looks nice and some way maybe better than current, but.
Website Job is marked ready, so I can't double give that bounty to you.

If you mean, you want this code will replace original website, I can't do that because of update support is already in agreement.

But, if you want to running hansacoin.tk like alternative homepage.
I will ask if community will accept to give extra bountyreward for your hard job and domain registeration.

I will publish PaperWallet, BlockChain Explorer, Rich List Sources asap.
All code will be opensource under MIT licence.

Running BlockChain Explorer and Rich List, you will need to running hansa wallet in your webserver.
is that possible on your server?

@Hansacoin  If everyone is making a big stink about the PoJ coins...why don't you hire an escrow service to hold and dole out the coins as needed. This will aliviate investors/exchanges fears of a giant dump and disappear act on your part...I'm not saying I think you will, just saying it has to be in the back of everyones mind. Maybe try Placebo, he's done some escrows for some recent ICO's.

I can take escrow holding coins and sharing bounties when job is done, if HANSA community want that.
Need to look what it will cost and can we pay with coins.

What other one think about that?
Should we vote or is it enaf if we yell in here.

I'd say it's a good idea. Might also boost the value a bit, if people know there aren't suddenly going to be a large number of dev-dumped coins. Those who trust you as a dev will already be sure of that, but those who don't won't no matter what you say to try and convince them; so escrow is the best way.

Okay. Seems like we put PoJ coins to escrow account.
I understand that well, and it is fine for me.
Hope this will give more trust for investing HANSA project.

Which escrow you use is as important as using it. There are escrow with years of providing the service without problems, and other new escrow providers who don't have much of a reputation to lose if they do anything wrong.

IIRC, his fee is 0.4BTC, and that includes pretty hard promotion of your coin as well as escrow service.

Alcurex price is going down... but I still get the feeling this one might be worthwhile holding onto for a while. What's the recommendation on how many to store in each wallet for staking? (Can confirm staking is working properly for me; I got one block earlier today.)

Coin moneysupply is small, no matter how many coins you hold in one wallet.
I will hold my coins until payment plugins are ready.
Then we will see what merchants will like this coin.
When we make those plugins ready for WP/Prestashop/Magento etc. it will be great marketing campage.

This is first payment gateway free coin.
Not so many notice that yet.

How so? Any crypto can be used as a gateway-free payment system, all it takes is a bit of coding to either run the wallets on the server, or check the blockchain.

It is totally different.
Just build webshop where is at least 1000$ even 100$ daily volume and run it with wallet connection and without.
I'm 100% sure your wallet will get compromised if your technical level is same as most of merchants ITC support have.
In real life, they are forced to use payment services for securing and collecting payments.
Edit: And most of merhants use hosted websites where can not run daemon.

Hope you see the point.
With HANSA, you can start using ~100% secure crypto payment and point payments to any wallet address you want to.
And build that in a seconds. (just installing normal payment plugin)

HANSA PoJ coins are under escrow holder.

After all, the best and safest escrow was offered from alcurEX exchange.
It is free service and exchance company will take all responsibility for unheld PoJ coins.
Coins are stored in offline wallet.

You will see online unheld PoJ balance in HANSA market top info:
HANSA Homepage | HANSA Bitcointalk thread Escrow/IPO fund holded on alcurEX: 579263.50000000
https://alcurex.org/index.php/crypto/market?pair=HANSA_BTC

Hope this will make full trust for HANSA project.

I did see that. What I'm asking is *how* this differs from, say, running offline wallets and checking them via the blockchain. What does HANSA do that makes it different from any other?

Anyway, good work on using an escrow. Smiley That should definitely improve trust in the project.

Needs some more exposure and a bit of work being done come out to publicity..
Sooner or later if it turns out that work is being done and it has something unique to provide then REX is an easy target in my opinion

Anonymous transactions can't verify, and no reason to verify.
Only transactions that sender want to get verified will be send to public address. (Like if buy something from webshop)

No, I don't see any method how can abuse system if transaction will be verified from block chain.

But in this case, how is it verified that the sender actually has the coins, and how does the recipient know they've received them? If the recipient were to spend them onwards again, can this be verified? etc

Here you can see all specs how verification will work
http://hansacoin.com/infopage/projecdetails.pdf

Main point is:
1. merchant payment plugint gives unique reference to buyer. It will be unique for every payments (like every wallet address are unique).
So, there is no any transactions in block chain to merchant wallet address with that reference and correct amount.

2. Now.. payment plugin will search if this payment will be come in block chain...
No matter who send payment to the merchant wallet using this unique reference.
If it's found, payment can mark verified, because those coins are now in merchant wallet.

I like the idea of sharing the work around; the more people involved, the more people trying to make it worth something, and thus, the more likely it'll have value.

I wouldn't criticize the dev too much over not making such things. Apart from that it may be as simple as he doesn't have a Mac, I would take into account that just because someone can't make something themself doesn't mean they can't manage a project involving making that thing. They're two entirely different skills, both of which are nessecary, but don't have to nessecerially come from the same person.

Thank you. Well explained whole point.

Yes I have no MAC, so I need to use VM server for building mac and wallet. mac project is much easy to do for some native mac user.
There is several other requests to build mac wallet, but I will give first guy try it till Monday.

We are just begin and I'm not sure is there any who really miss mac wallet asap.

Well, I don't agree, to make a successful coin you need both people to drive the project and people that can code and people to promote. Just because you can code doesn't make it a success and doesn't make you a good project manager. A good project manager can make a successful coin working with others. There are lots of coins with lots of innovations and fancy code and they are far from successful.

Two things I would like to say, though:

1. I wouldn't try to promote the so-called "Proof of Job" system as anything unique to Hansa. It's existed on many coins so far, it's just usually called "Bounties". Managing it a slightly different way doesn't make it a new or innovative feature, if it's still the same "do this, get coins transferred to you" system.
2. You really need to try and get on a larger exchange before too long if you really want the coin to get anywhere. BtcPool is possibly the smallest exchange out there (no offence to the devs), and AlCurex doesn't seem to be much larger - I'll admit they both have potential, but that isn't going to help if your coin dies off due to lack of usability before that potential is reached. BitTrex or Cryptsy is probably an unrealistic goal for now (but definitely worth aiming for long-term), but perhaps C-Cex might be a good next target?

Also want to say that PoS is working really well for me on this one. Not getting large amounts, but getting a lot of blocks. Cheesy

(PS: Value seems to be going up again on AlCurex, after a major temporary dip! Get in before it's too late, if you haven't already! Tongue)

So you are creating a currency, with an idea that you let other people develop for you... and then you give them coins in this non-existent tech that you promise? Jesus christ.

How is it non-existant? Do you seriously somehow figure that it doesn't exist, despite there being Windows and Linux wallets, just because the dev doesn't have the resources to easily create a Mac wallet, and thus offers a bounty to someone else to make one? (Nevermind that Windows alone, nevermind Windows and Linux combined, are far more prevalent than Macs.)

I'm not sure that Bittrex is a good idea at this stage, nor that it's likely to happen yet. C-Cex is probably a better goal to shoot for, for now.

You know, it kind of reminds me of this guy I knew. He did some stuff himself, but he paid a lot of other people to do a lot of other jobs too that helped his project. What was his name... ah yeah that's right, "the head of every project ever".

If all you're going to do in this topic is whine about how the coin isn't being developed in the way you'd prefer (and while I haven't checked extensively, I don't see you making a better coin), perhaps you should click here and never return.

Dont make a fool out of yourself. If you have been in cryptos a while you learn to see the flaws in an early stage. This currency has it all. A dev, which probably does not even code C++ nor C. What "he" does is that he let others do the job for him and pays them with the currency that "others" develops for him. Ha ha.

Well, who told the Dev should do everything, and the rest should just buy/sell coins, and post "whats up dev, give us the news" here in the forum?
I don't see anything wrong in the fact that someone manages the work, while others do the coding (given that the one who manages, is able to find the ones who do the work). In reality "good coding skills" and "good managing skills" is something very rarely combined in a single individual. Moreover good programmer would never be a good salesman. So I believe its ok to distribute tasks to the ones who can do them well. Do you think Gates or Jobbs, or other successful IT entrepreneurs were coding themselves? Smiley Some of them might have written some code in the beginning, but this is not what they are good in, so they passed this task on others.

What "he" does is that he let others do the job for him and pays them with the currency that "others" develops for him. Ha ha.

Yes, ha ha. Do we like it or not, this is what everybody does now in the real world - let others do the job, and pay with the currency "others" develop Smiley. You can tell the same about the whole US economy and the dollar  Grin

Value is going down... though it seems to be mostly just the result of one miner dumping coins. Let's push it back up... though really, if you want the value to stay at anything significant, you're going to need to get it on a more major exchange. Otherwise, it becomes worthless, people stop mining/staking it and either dump their coins or have them sitting tucked away in a corner of the hard drive, and the project dies...

I've been staking in lots of small amounts; more PoS blocks = less PoW blocks, so hopefully it'll help drive the value up a bit. 77 blocks so far (not much, but then again, I was quite late to get into Hansa so I wasn't able to mine that many coins); of these, 5 were not accepted by the network, but two of these rejected blocks immediately (or at least fairly soon after) staked again and these were accepted.

My target is you will make profits with your coins after we are ready with HANSA project and merchants start to use it.
Hope you will hold and staking with your coins until we have bigger market volume.

Some suggestions I'll throw out there:

1. The colour scheme of the wallet. It's fine on the main pages, but in, say, the Setttings menu, it looks awful. Hard to read too.
2. You might want to update the OP to say that the Mac wallet has been made, and give a link to it.
3. The wallet is minimized to the task bar when I hit the "X" icon, even if I don't have the setting to do this enabled.

1. Yes. Settings Dropdown menu color need to change on next update.
2. MAC wallet link added.
3. Do you mean with mac wallet or general, because I dont see what you mean?

Windows wallet. When I click the "X" in the top-right to close it, it doesn't exit but just goes to the taskbar. I have enabled the "Minimize to task bar" setting, but not the "Minimize on close" setting, so it should quit completely when I click the X. I can confirm this on two different PCs (both running Windows 8.1, in case that matters).

Should be Win version or settings, because my two Win7 PC's close/shutdown wallet from X button.
I will test 8 on later...

I just tested; this only happens if I also have the "Minimize to task bar" setting enabled. If I disable that, then X closes it (unless I have the minimize on close option enabled).

Basically;
"Minimize to task bar" disabled + "Minimize on close" disabled = Performs correctly
"Minimize to task bar" enabled + "Minimize on close" enabled = Performs correctly
"Minimize to task bar" disabed + "Minimize on close" enabled = Performs correctly
"Minimize to task bar" enabled + "Minimize on close" disabled = Glitch, it acts as if "Minimize on close" is enabled even though it isn't

So, next step is get wallet transaction message working with block explorers
for validating transactions.

Is there any one who want to take those projects?

So looks like there is nobody wanting to take those projects.

I'm wondering what is your plan for such cases?

You may right. Not so many interest developing...
I can make it my self but time frame will be longer then.
Or we can lift bounty reward for developing and drop off from marketing.
I still believe in this forum are people who like to make easy to use payment crypto.

Such people definitely exist. But most probably they do not look on this thread. There are many threads in the forum, and nobody reads them all. You may want to search in the forum to identify developers, who are able to perform such task, and send a PM to invite them to look into the coin and the project. If you just sit on this thread and wait, they may never even know such project exists.

**Unclaimed Coins**
If you mined on our pools and we unable to withdraw your coins, you now have 30 days to do so.
I'm a miner myself and who knows how many coins I left behind at pools that closed.

Hello. Coin promising if to continue the movement. What is the cost of developing the client side in bitcoin? Ready to invest 1 btc via escrow. I think for real money faster'll find developers. Posting the link to the technical specification for http://freelansim.ru/tasks?categories=app_programming with the price of 1btc can speed up the process of finding a contractor. Does the developer after the development of client side to place the coin on bittrex or cryptsy?

Suprnova is the last working pool from the OP. The other two (binpool and manhattanmine) are already down. So if Suprnova pool closes, there is no pool for this coin...? From the other hand it seems somebody is mining this coins on some private pool, as the network hashrate is 60Mhs, while there is nobody mining on any known pool...

Makes no sense for me to let the pool up and running just because someone is mining somewhere a probably dead coin.. The Dev also has not logged in for a long time, so I have no real reason to let it run

Sure, I completely understand you. Was just wondering who and why is mining this coin... Why where..? 60 MHS is too much for solo,  when there is no competition.

Yup.. But some people don't understand that even 2 MH/s would be enough if they are soloing the coin.. They think the more, the better Smiley
