Well that's what I thought but it's still really bad. It's been mining 6 hours and got one block. But 5 blocks in 2 hours? It just seems a bit weird to me. I thought maybe I'm doing something wrong or it's broken :/

@blastbob what is your hashing power, what miner you use? how much you generate for a 24h and in how much hours you have credited?

I heard rumours about BTC-E and BBQCoin? Is it true?

There have been rumors (jasinlee says he has first hand knowledge) about BBQCoin being added to an exchange.  But no information on which one or when.

BBQCoin is starting to establish a pretty good following due to it's mechanics.  Difficulty is rising, and according to the trades taking place on the forum, price is believed to be fairly close to .001 BTC.  So I wouldn't be surprised if it were added to BTC-e, especially now that BTC-e has shown a willingness to get into more altcoins than just LTC.

Charlie Kelly: I'm pleading the 5th.  The Attorney: I would advise you do that.  Charlie Kelly: I'll take that advice under cooperation, alright? Now, let's say you and I go toe-to-toe on bird law and see who comes out the victor?  The Attorney: You know, I don't think I'm going to do anything close to that and I can clearly see you know nothing about the law.

There are 2 exchanges currently setting up bbq on their sites. But I cannot disclose who yet.

I understand that completely. I just can't get my head around going from 5 blocks in 2 hours, to none in 12. Just seems a little bit off to me.
Still not entirely sure if I'm doing something wrong or if the difficulty really shot up so much to reduce my profits that much.

I heard VirCurEx and BTC-E (as the biggest), so that (more or less) confirms my sources Smiley

Well once again it seems like I've missed the boat on this one.

Although I have 350 BQC roughly, and if it's being added to an exchange that's gotta do something to the price right?
Might keep hold of them then.

lol fine the trolls are out in force tonight.

Selling BQC in 5k lots at 4BTC each. 20% percent discount from everyone else.

PM me if interested.

You should really at least try to avoid other alts threads, it's pretty pathetic to see you as dev of one alt bashing other coins right and left.

The pool on bbqcoin.org has been taken offline for now.

The share difficulty in Pushpool needs changing aswell as cosmetic updates.

I will post further updates on here and on the BBQcoin forum.

As everyone is solo mining at the moment and suddenly with a lot of hashrate, I am sure that would increase the amount of orphans, meaning less accepted blocks.

BBQcoin needs pools before getting put on an exchange too.

Man, it's gotten crazy hard to mine this coin lately.  Not sure if you need to mine in pools yet since even slower miners should be getting at least a block a day.

What kind of internet connection do you need to start a pool?

A stable one Wink
Uh, plus a GOOD router to handle the traffic. Most routers do the job if there are 20-30 ppl mining, but you gonna have trouble for 30+ ppl

If its possible, could you provide to source to the bbqcoin pool when it is running? I can try and operate one so we don't have too much isolation of mining resources to one location
