My wallet is staking just fine. The pace of staking did slow down a bit once POW finished.

Did you send a tx or restart the wallet? I have to unlock staking every time I send a transaction on the Win client.

Yes after 5 hours of no mint I sent all coins to myself and waited another hour for them to mature. Still no minting.
It has now been almost 9 hours. 12:30 pm EST staking died.

I hope to wake up tomorrow to a log full of mint by stakes but somehow I doubt it.

If your wallet is not syncing then I suggest you configure 10k.conf.  There is no benefit if your wallet is syncing.
