Huh I've been waiting for my normal payout for a few days now on SatoshiDice, things seemed a little laggy and not quit right. I then realized that I was on "satoshidice.net" instead of my usual ".com" I think I may have just been scammed unless It's just me. Anyone know if the ".net" is legit?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

We do not own satoshidice.net... I think you were scammed Sad  Note the bet addresses are not the same as ours. This is the first time I've been made aware of this.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to deal with this?

Contact satoshidice.net registrar and point out what happened, they can immediately suspend the domain atleast.

You could maybe warn people on the real site to beware of the fake one. If you add copyright info to your site you could contact the hosting provider and ask them to take it down. Thanks for the confirmation about this.

Maybe add a report phishing link somewhere on page. Also report to search engines as phishing site. (eg. http://www.google.com/safebrowsing/report_phish and http://reports.internic.net/cgi/registrars/problem-report.cgi)
Anyhow thanks everyone for helping me out. Smiley

Do you have any idea how you wound up at this site? Did you type it in by mistake or was it linked or advertised somewhere?

You can use WOT plugin for firefox to give it bad rating. If enough people do that, it will raise a warning at least for other WOT users.

Man I wish I could remember where exactly but I clicked an advertisement to get there. Normally I would have used the link I have saved in my browser but unfortunately I was using an alternate web browser at the time.

If you look in the history on the browser you used, you should be able to see where you were immediately before you visited the scam site.

Actually I was surfing checking out other sites and clicked an ad somewhere that said it was SatoshiDice so you clicked the ad to get there rather than typing it in myself. It's my fault for being lazy at the time. This has woke me up to paying more attention to what I'm doing. In all honesty If I would have just used the payments from my address-book I would have been fine. It's all a learning experience for sure. Smiley
