I have 0.8 btc owed by kalgecin
I have ownership of the account now in collateral, whats going on here?

Kalgecin account has probably been hacked. He asked a lot of people to loan him today and hasn't been able to produce a signed message or to send me an e-mail from his original e-mail. Looks like you will never see your 0.8 BTC again (probably) and I will never see the 0.2 I loaned to him...

Ok but we have the account, which is probably worth about 1 btc, if he does not pay in 7 days then we will liquidate his account and repay you 0.2.

That would be great. The negative feedback will probably be removed if we organise that. Have to sleep, will write you tomorrow. Keep me updated if you have any news from him.

The only problem is if the account goes for less than 1 BTC.

If the account goes for less than 1btc the amount will be reduced marginally for both of us. For example, if we get to the point where its worth 0.5 btc (half), thats 0.4 for me (half my 0. and 0.1 for him.
Sadly we have to wait 7 days (or at least a message from him) before starting to sell the account.
IF we get to that point, the members who are leaving the neg feedback will be instructed to remove negative feedback surrounding this loan.

I don't think the lender has agreed to take any kind of haircut on his loan.

He is an alt of tacoman71 who claimed his account was hacked hours after taking out a loan. He is also an alt of Madern and Twipple. I will remove the negative that I just left for kalgecin upon repayment to to Glucose.

From Glucose's point of view, there is no way to ascertain that you and kalgecin are not hand in glove.
i.e. - He gets back only 0.1 BTC out of his 0.2 BTC, while you/kalgecin get away without losing anything.
I doubt if that is the case; 0.1 BTC is just not worth the effort. But there is no way to be absolutely sure....

EDIT : Previous owner confirmed his account has been hacked.

2. Contact people who left a negative feedback and ask them kindly to remove it
3. Try to sell the account for 1 BTC and get back the amount  we both lent. HM + avatar.. it should be worse 1 BTC.
