I'm really not sure, Kwattro was looking into it. I've had up to 12 connections on that chain. There's a couple chains for some reason though.
hum not good. I have no clue on which chain I am .... The only thing I experienced is that I needed to delete / restarting syncing for my wallet. And it took for ever, literally over 4 or 5 days (could even not remember) to finally get on sync. Which anyway could be worthless if on the wrong chain. I guess, if the coin is dying, there is no solution for now Sad If everyone gets on one chain, that's a start I think. Hence why I uploaded my chain. If we get it to a workable stage, more chance of it getting worked on. Right... just how to know on which chain we would have to be (to be the same), and be the main chain as well... or the original. It is a little too technical to investigate this kind of things tho ;-) Yeah what does everyone else think? my technical skill are very basic. I'm just assuming if everyone was on the same chain, this would be good. This could be done by everyone downloading the same. It may not be the original but it would be same, Ethereum isn't on the original chain and it's going great.

Hi Altcoinlover,
most people are getting on the right chain. Barto's one is good. You should have about 1061400 blocks. You can check this in the right lower corner of your wallet. Let your mouse rest on it and the number of blocks will appear. You can also type the command "getblockcount" into the console. If you don't know how to do that I'll tell you. Could you share your wallet address? I'll be sending you some AM. Making transactions with wallets on the healthy chain will help yours finding it.
As there are limited nodes and a few different chains, it is normal that it takes time to sync. Your wallet will always search for the best chain. If no nodes with that chain are available, it gets confused. Now we are trying to get everybody on the same chain again. Every open wallet is staking and acting as a node, so it is recommanded to leave the wallets open as often as possible.

Would be great to ensure Bittrex is on the same chain. They still keep the wallet, but they would most probably toss it if they happen to be on a fork. Still have some coins there, which I am thinking of withdrawing and staking now... Though still not sure why to do it, as without the developer and his exchange development this is just a chain of useless blocks, like hundreds of coin out there. I am actually surprised there are still people following, this community looks to be one of the most endurant and believing ones I have ever seen.

The value in the coins returns as soon as there's development though, there's no company to go bust. We as a community just have to get the coin to a working state, at least - block explorer & exchange listing etc

Hi Drays,
if you start staking a wallet you'll help us improve the network. That is what we are working on at te moment. Once a stable network is a fact, we can consider taking up the development again. If you send me your wallet address, I'll send you some AM to check if we are on the same chain.

had a bad luck with my computer... and it affected 3 of my numerous wallets... AM is one of the 3!!! So, I have to re-sync my wallet again.... so, will be able to confirm just after that.... This time, I will use Barto's files to see if it speed up the syncing. But then, not sure about the coins you sent.... sorry about it

I just downloaded your stuff in order to syn my wallet.... He crashed... the thing is that, as it seems to have synced in less than 1 min, in the debugg window, I see that the current number of blocks is HIGHER than the total estimated number of blocks ;-) Number of blocks: 1059985 Total estimated number of blocks: 1015049 I would guess this is bad, right?

You should have recieved a transaction. Can you confirm?
So, now that the wallet is on synch again, using the files of Barto, I did spot 2 deposits 2 AM and 0.001... but the thing is that they appear UNCONFIRMED I will check later if this will change... but there is no clock on the left that we usually get during confirmation process. I just see a vertical gray bar. Not sure what it means

Give me your address to reverse the coins to you. so, I guess it confirms that we are on the same chain, right? Thanks to Barto.... the syncing process with its files was really fast...

No need to refund anything. If we can exchange coins, it means we are on the same chain, which is our primary goal. Keep the wallet staking as often as possible.

Compiled the wallet for Xenial. It works well, but cannot find any peer for now. Downloading Barto's chain now... UPDATE: downloaded the chain, put it to the right place together with peers.dat and addnodes. The wallet found just two peers up to know, both are stuck on older chain heights. Lets see if my wallet will be able to find anyone with up-to-date chain to get in sync...

What is your wallet address? I'll make some transactions from up to date wallets. It will help.

Looks like my wallet is synced now ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I see one up-to-date peer and new blocks coming. Also I see some other peers actively synching from my wallet. You can send me some coins here: AXCxkStsMeHFvzZh4kCAhGPPU7U5ZnERex I guess 1 coin will be quite enough to see if we are on the same chain Or, alternatively, we can check it this way: gives me this: 5e389db7153c2845399b87ed68e1e00809be595f8f08c8dd4e52c9b86bd0eff4 That is a very recent block (generated few minutes ago). If you see the same hash, it means we are surely on the same chain.

Thanks, got it! Now I have exactly 1 coin on my wallet. Now the tricky part - I'll try to get my coins out of Bittrex, and see if I get them or they go to nowhere on a different fork...

It's not on any exchange, were you looking to acquire some? Feel free to make some bids on what QTY you were after.
