Mainstream adeption 2.0! The release of BTC-precharged creditcards!  (Looks like a Visa-card, works like a Visa but loaded with BTC. Usable everywhere Visa is accepted.) Send viruses through the bitcoin client! --------removed---------- This is good news, although a piss poor job to the youtube guy on the video... so bad, in fact, I will remove the link from the quote  “We hope that bringing potential problems to light now will help in improving such technologies in the future and will make it more difficult for them to be used for any malicious purpose,” Vitaly Kamluk, principal security researcher at Kaspersky Lab. I honestly don't know. I assume he has some inside knowledge. And it wouldn't be his announcement itself that changes anything, but it'd be what goes on behind the scenes. In any case, bitcoins are pretty cheap now, so it wouldn't hurt to buy a few. |
