For my next trick I'll guess that it's Basel, Switzerland, where Albert Hoffman, discoverer of "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" died.

How about Figueres in Spain, place of birth and burial of Narcís Monturiol i Estarriol, a Spanish intellectual, artist and engineer, who was the inventor of the first air independent and combustion engine driven submarine, 'Ictineo I'?

Another guess: "Cadiz" which is located in Spain. Because of Cadiz FC "The Yellow Submarine", nickname for the Spanish football team Cádiz CF

Getting more specific - he died in Burg im Leimental (near Basel).

Nice catch, more likely to be Villarreal because of the nickname, although Cádiz also has some history in pioneering submarine launches.

The Chapel of Saint-Hubert, at Château d'Amboise, France. This is where Leonardo da Vinci's bones are; he created the first conceptual image of a submarine.
