You mentioned an equation. Does this mean the password is the solution to an equation with multiple variables?
And what is that equation that will produce a 9 digit result wow.
you want to use the contents of the virtual coins to do a calculation and then you want to bin the solution.... Steve, I don't get this. Here you said that you need to do a calculation and that you want to bin the solution. If I make a calculation, the result mostly doesn't consists of letters. really appreciate this ! thanks you actually deserve another clue so feel free to add 000 000 000 to 999 999 999 to your list Here you tell me that the code doesn't contain only letters. So the solution needs to have at least 1 letter. So the solution is not the outcome of the calculation? I don't get it. All the clues are spot on, the more people guessed wildly the more difficult it became to follow the thread. But that is the nature of the beast, the clues are there!

incorrect, how on earth did you get to this number ?
{so far Azure has been the closest}
the order of the coins doesn't matter Does the order of the characters matter?
no, it wouldn't have any effectIs that number base10, base2, base8 or base16? (can you tell which? Smiley ) can't answer this, but its an important factor to consider What values do the letters have and what are the numbers 001 000 100. It's not normal decimal numbers btw.These are all the clues i found: From this i understand that the password of 9 characters is solved using a calculation, wich is really simple since it could be solved by a 5 year old probably a sum of some numbers because this operation doesnt affect in wich order the numbers are, because you also said it didnt matter. Now after that calculation you have to throw it in the bin but the result needs to have a letter at least since you said its not 000000000 - 999999999. You also said azure has been the closest but he only posted a number when you said that wich is a bit misleading

Here are my guesses You realize it has to be 9 characters right? No problem, just exclude all the 8 digit numbers and the 9 digit numbers will be my bet.

Guys, any post that just spams a bunch of numbers will be deleted.
PS. It's not a guessing game, so it won't be random

Do we literally have have to ask for the key? Allright, can I have it? Or is this meant as a clue?

that's why it's a treasure hunt and not a quiz.
hope you are having fun.
ask more specific questions, that alone should get to the answer ( by a process of elimination )

First of all, steveturk: I am really enjoying this. I love puzzles etc, so this is fun! Well, let's try to ask questions then. It is kinda clear that we have to use binary numbers. Is it the 2-base binary system that we have to use? Also: the first calculation, which could be done by a 5 year old, does that have to do with the 000 001 and 100 ? Edit: ''good idea, but the first part of the equation can be solved a by a 5 year old, once you have that answer you just need to throw it in the "bin" So if you have thrown it in the 'bin', the outcome is the password?
