refueling time, cheap beans... at least BTC price-wise. It's the lowest I have ever seen.

Team bean should join us here. https://www.crypto-city.com/index.php/bitb-bitbean-coin/

The page needs a facelift / update. lol.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Still syncing at the moment.  The beancash wallet seems to use a lot of cpu power?  Its using over 60% while its syncing.  Is that normal?

So basically if you do anything like sprouting or anything, its going to use a ton of cpu right?  Thus if you want to sprout or do anything like that, don't do this on your main computer since it will be using a lot of cpu etc?  I was doing other things earlier while running beancash as i need to sync it and my cpu went to 100% usage.

Yes this is normal as I had the same thing happen when I left the wallet off for a week and then needed to catch up. The other thing is that the wallet will use a lot of memory so be sure you have enough space on your PC for this.

I can promote your project on X to my 100k+ followers for a reasonable price. Just DM me for prices.

I keep getting memory full notices, then have to restart the GUI. I think I need a bigger SSD?

Hmm, I have the same issue which I said in previous posts on here because the Bean Cash blockchain is so big now it takes up a lot of memory so I am upgrading to 16GB ram from 8GB ram and hopefully that will be enough to run all my staking wallets including Bean Cash. So you might need to do the same mate, I may even got up to 32GB ram but I need to save up more for this.

Well actually I'm thinking about doing both as like I said I plan to have all my PoS coins staking on the one PC. I mainly worry about Bean Cash as right now I'm not sprouting my beans as the wallet takes up too much memory on my laptop. I have since switched them to my PC but I need to upgrade the hardware for me to be able to run all my wallets.

Important Announcement

After a meeting with Bittrex, it has been determined that Bittrex will continue with their de-listing of the BITB/BTC market on July 19th. Due to proprietary secrets and mutual NDA, nothing further can be shared with the community other than the following de-list policy: https://bittrex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000474232-Bittrex-Market-Token-Removal-Policy

The Executive Board encourages the Bean Cash community to remove their BITB from Bittrex before July 19th. The following are existing exchanges where you can currently exchange BITB/BEAN and will be able to do so after July 19th.:

We are working to add new exchanges to the BEAN eco-system and will let the community know when new exchanges will be available.

-- Bean Core Executive Board

Feel free to post this memo across all other BEAN media channels and platforms.

Latest Client: BeanCash v1.1.2.2 Release - Download here.

BeanCash (Ticker: BEAN) is a re-brand of the digital currency and network, previously known as "BitBean" (Ticker: BITB). The "BitBean" blockchain and network began on February 13th., 2015. In 2018 a private company (unrelated to the crypto currency previously known as "BitBean") began using US Trademark authority to usurp the name "BitBean" for it's own use. Pre-empting this action, in late 2017, it was decided by BeanCore to rebrand to BeanCash to avoid unecessary conflicts. It was the first 'crypto-currency' to implement a maximum of 20MB block sizes, based on Gavin Andersen's proposals to fix Bitcoin's scalability limitations. BitBean was also the first 'cryptocurrency' to pioneer the use of static block rewards in a Proof of Bean (PoB) system -- which now makes energy wasting PoW (Proof of Work) systems, inefficient, expensive and archaic!

BeanCash inherits BitBean's mature blockchain and rock-solid network, becoming one of the most super-green digital currencies on the market today! While other blockchains continue to hardfork, roll-back transactions, and change their protocol (Bitcoin Segwit), BeanCash has never had a hardfork or transaction roll-back. BeanCash (formerly known as "BitBean the Cryptocurrency") had no ICO, pre-mine or swap. Blockchain integrity is one of the defining features of BeanCash.

Mission: To be an enduring digital currency, with high integrity, a store of value and a means of exchange for every day transactions -- that stands the test of time!

Quick BeanCash Facts:

- Pioneer of v3.0 Proof of Stake (PoS)
- BeanCash is a next generation digital currency using the latest in cryptographic signatures
- BeanCash supports instant transactions and privacy using pseudonymous transactions
- PoB (Proof of Bean, new version 3 of Proof of Stake)
- Each PoB block reward is 1000 BEAN (1,000 BEAN=1 SPROUT)
- Newly sprouted BEANs take 6 hours to mature
- Target block time is 1 minute
- 20 MB max blocks size and very low fees
- BeanCash has no premine and was launched fairly and transparently
- Maximum supply of 50 Billion BEANs will not be reached for another 92 years.
