Social Media impact is a big factor in driving new costumers to your product. Small social media impact makes people feel that the project is making less effort on the marketing side. Even me if I saw an ICO with only 500 facebook likes and 300 twitter followers I will have my biggest doubt about the project because there are too many ICO with big communities that you can put your money on.
