Yes, people using social media is a great target for promoting Bitcoin/cryptocurrency. Every people in this world has an easy access to social media. With just one touch they are already connected. It is really the best target to promote crypto. I suggest in promoting crypto, the news/promotions shall be easy to understand for people who does not have an idea about cryptocurrencies/Bitcoin.

Promotion is always needed.

We just need to target people and teach instead of just talking about it.
Yes we need social media to teach people about in crypto currency. We know its hard to explain in people about bitcoin cause sometimes they dont believe.

Does Bitcoin Need The Social Media's Help To Promote Itself?

Well, Bitcoin needs all the help that we can get. With its current situation, Bitcoin Foundation is just thinking out of the box to help Bitcoin recover and might even succeed.

With the help of Social Media, bitcoin can attract new and young users. Learn about bitcoin and eventually adopt it.

Maybe this is the first step of mass adoption.

What do you think?

in this point of time, social media help is not that vital because it is already known. i think word of mouth is now needed for bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies to pump.

The crypto market is in great need of the media. Because it is the best market and community approach. The adjustment made from facebook and google is a huge loss of marketing tools and promoting bitcoin and crypto. The value of bitcoin and the crypto market, is the popularity of consumers and the community.

I think it's a good idea to have a social media promotion. As we all know we're in generation where most human have social media access and we should take advantage of it. It will be a big factor in dissemination of information about bitcoin because everyone can see what it is all about. Other people will gain knowledge about it once they saw the promotion. Here is the thing for sure once you decide to promote bitcoin in social media it will be popular and might lead to other people to invest in it. It's a win-win situation between bitcoin foundation and investors because it will benefit them both.

I wish we had more social media on educating people about scams. Social media sure did lift crypto off, but it also lifted off scam city. Way too many people getting burnt.

Nah, not really. Word of mouth is big enough at this point. Most people have at least heard of cryptocurrency and I don't see a bunch of useless ICO ads as being a benefit to crypto. Especially since most are scams.

I don't think so. I don't really use social media, and I think many people that do don't care about ads on these platforms.

Social media has a big effect and contribution in the popularity of bitcoin. Mainstream media like TV and newspapers don't actually put emphasis nor even give attention to bitcoin. But through social media, many people have spread the news about bitcoin, gave their confessions and different countries made their commitment to bitcoin.

I think bitcoin needs social media outreach. This will increase the popularity of bitcoins and let more people know about bitcoin, because there are still many people who don't understand bitcoin.
There should be no doubt in the promotion of Bitcoin either on social media or Television. This is because the authenticity and trust of people on Bitcoin. We should introduce and promote as we know that it is the leading currency and is most productive.

I think its good idea because many people are engage in social media and when we use it to promote bitcoin there are many people that don't know how to earn bitcoin will learned and will adapt it. Athough without using it, bitcoin is familiar in many people in many countries but it will help to grow fast.

Social media is a big help in promoting Bitcoin. But there are also more ways in promoting it like making ads for websites to let people be aware that crypto currency exist.

The Internet is the primary tool for the dissemination of information about bitcoin. Many people live here and each of us spends at least an hour on the Internet. And if there will be as much information about bitcoin, its introduction into the world will happen much faster.

It seems to me that bitcoin is not advertised enough so far, and I try to talk more about it on social networks, I created my information chat in a Telegram, so that people could come to grips with cryptocurrency. I think that's right. So bitcoin is more likely to be accepted by the world.

Without social media, it would have been less fees and fewer investors have learned about it all therefore this is a very necessary part of the "advertising" project.

this is absolutely true. all digital currencies require social media for promotion and advertising. because social media is currently ranked first, the easiest and fastest tool for promotional and advertising tools. and everyone has an social media for long distance communication tools. so very appropriate if using social media.
