Options > Encrypt Wallet > Put in a pass-code/password click ok >Client will close > Re-open client

Options > Unlock Wallet > Put in a pass-code/password click ok > Make sure staking is ticked in the pass-code window

After 30 seconds or so this >>>><<<<<

You must have your coins in the wallet for a day for them to mature for staking.

ya, but then I locked the wallet so that I dont stake. I am waiting for staking to be corrected before I unlock my wallet.

Download new wallet, delete everything except wallet.dat (always do backup), sync, unlock and stake.
