My indiegogo order arrived in Australia this morning!

Is that you Craig?

No, but I only wish I too could say I was into Bitcoin before satoshi

At this moment only Trezor have the stock (www.buyTrezor.com)
But this will change soon - more announcements to come.

I am an Indiegogo pledger that ordered 2 Cryptosteels 1 year ago and still have not received them. Why are you accepting orders and shipping to new customers when you have had my money for a year?

I have tried numerous times to contact you by way of Indiegogo, the Cryptosteel website and via private message from this site. All without acknowledgement or response.
This is beyond horrible customer service. Please either ship my order or issue me a refund.

Buyer beware.

Dear SpartanBit,

Right now we are one bridge to finish Indiegogo campaign.
We are only the one shipment away to close all pending orders.
All pledged units are ready to ship and it will leave EU on Tuesday 28Jun.
+5 days to reach our storeroom on Toronto and then 5 more days to deliver to our US customers.

We gain over 500% demand for Cryptosteel, and we work days and nights to fulfil the orders.

The main reason why Indiegogo are postponed over others orders is this that:
1. Indiegogo units are customised.
2. most of undelivered orders are from US and Australia - and we are working hard to speed up the shipping process
3. we have a total mess after the the initial orders was lost - and the recovery mode is double-or-triple times harder to finish.
4. I cover all the cost for second shipping, replacement units, additional tax and duty - from those orders listed above.

I belive that Cryptosteel eventually pass a tipping point and we will be able to flow flawlessly soon.

Thank you for your patience.
We can always make a full refund - if you wish. Just let me know.

PS. I try to answer all emails. This is strange that I can not remember your complaint.

 Thank you for responding.

I have emailed multiple times and have no idea why they wouldn't have reached you.

It is just very frustration to see people who order a year after you receive their product first, I'm sure you can understand.

I am willing to wait for my Cryptosteels, I have waited this long a little while longer won't hurt. The biggest problem was lack of communication.

I look forward to receiving them.

UPDATE:

Halfway through setting my first key in the device, I was putting too much pressure
on one of the tiles trying to slide it into the slot and I sliced the tip of my finger pretty good!

So be careful, the edges on the steel pieces are SHARP!

I also realized my crytosteel was shipped without any letter "A" tiles...

Also, I expected to be able to store two full wallet import format keys in the device.
On the website it clearly says:
You will be able to assemble: Any Private Key or Sentence

I figured the standard 51 character private key would be included, however
there is only enough room on each side for 48 tiles.

I do like the fact that the hole through the device is perfect size to secure using a master lock.

Hello str4wm4n!

I am really sorry that you get sliced. We put a lot of effort to keep the precision below 0,04mm.
If you discover the difficulties with setting up your sentence, and your unit is not well mechanically fitted, please PM me and I will try to solve this issue.

During packaging phase, it is passible that we miss to add "A" tiles.
The positive thing is that this was happened for the first time ever.

Dear Customers, Pledgers and Fans!

Yesterday we finally completed the entire production process, and we have all the required components to fulfil all pending orders.
This will allow us to start shipment of the delayed units from as early as next week!

We are very grateful to all for the patience and confidence you have all shown in us.
We really do value your continued business.
All parcels will be sent with a tracking post and we now have a one hundred percent ratio of delivery.
Some destinations will take longer than previously specified to deliver, but lately all units have been safely delivered.

Please stay in touch
Sincerely yours
Cryptosteel Team

When can we expect full production of these units so they can just be outright purchased online somewhere?

Tired of substandard power distribution in your ASIC setup???   Chris' Custom Cablez will get you sorted out right!  No job too hard so PM me for a quote

...

I am looking forward very much to reading reviews about Cryptosteel products.

All hardware products for protecting Bitcoin are worth critical examination, and those which are particularly useful and/or easy to use should be made known to us.  (Says an owner of Trezor, Ledger Nano and Opendime devices.)

The more quality product that is out there, the better.

Hello,

The only page, that provide reviews from the users, besides the press reviews is @OpenBazaar.
I hope you will find it useful, all reviews are linked with its transaction via blockchain

The cryptosteel is very good, it's well made, and keep it's promises.

Not much more to say, you engrave your seed in steel, and can go for long time backups.

I use it with Nano S and can keep a single long durability backup to derive all my bitcoins key, U2F ID and so on...

The only drawback is that sometime when openning or closing it you will cut your finger and bleed a little bit  Grin

I really love it since the first time I saw it.

Edges are d*mn sharp, I tried to remove some tiles, some got stuck a bit and when trying to slide them out I cut my finger.. deep

sorry for the fuzzy photo

But ! Cryptosteel is an awesome device ! Love  it.
