I think the newest video shows that they are in more of a production phase than a "prototyping and figuring out the problems" phase.  This project was probably a learning experience for them due to all the unforeseen issues that can come up with producing a simple item in quantity.

Our latest research shows that the officials find Cryptosteel very suspicious. Due to its solid steel construction we have tested that after a CT scan the customs officers opened our tests envelopes, and make a mess.

We are now looking for the best solution to deliver Cryptosteel, especially to US and Canada citizens, without any issues.

We have to excuse ourselves once again but it is obvious that customs officials won't stop us for long.
