They were sold out very fast. The server error was there because nothing was available on stock anymore and the eshop did not handle it perfectly.

Ms. Vranova has already said in an interview there will be no more metallic Trezors. The ones that sold yesterday were made from last 20 cases remaining from the initial production run. That is why collectors were willing to pay $999. If there was a chance that Trezor would resume production of metal cases collectors would not have bought those twenty in less than a day.

strange number to make, 50 or 100 would have made more sense to me!

Trezors are great though. Solid hardware imo.

Yes, I have confirmation from 3 Early Birds pledgers - #Arizona, #NYC, #Nebraska
- this is kind strange that only three of them was delivered... Initial information from the Post Office, was "delivery to US will take about 14 days" - it seems that it takes about "60 days +++"!!!
- I have one "return package" awaiting for me at my Post Office. Maybe some envelopes will return to me, in case of undelivered?

Right now we are finalising to establish new delivery chain via Canada.
Slowly moving forward.

i have received my unit , and lots of charachters seem really bad engraved..    i need a magnifier for properly read them..







these really bad engraved characters represent more than 40 % of all the characters !


so , when my seed is fully assembled , i"m unable to properly read it...  i'm not ready to put my paper recovery seed to the trash..

Thank you for your feedback.
Indeed engraved letters glitter in light. I have one trick that may help you to improve the readability - you can smear your sentence with marker, and quickly wipe it with cotton.
After wiping paint will stay only in dimple spots.
Even if some of the tails are not so deeply engraved than the others - they will never wear off. Your private sentence, once arranged is protected by the upper layer of the container cover.

At the turn of May and June we will run new production batch of letter tails.
Please return the unit, and I will replace it as soon as passible.
I will fully refund.

 i had give it a try, and effectively that's improved a bit the reading of my seed sentence.. so, as i really want to support this project, and in other hand, dont want to wait may or june to receive an another characters set, i will keep my unit in this state.

I got a cryptosteel with my metal TREZOR  they're worth the wait, although it was difficult to pull apart. It says to use a tile but I ended up using a screwdriver.

Yes, indeed you must have an early-made unit (probably from the prototyping pool).
Now, since our tools are run in - it is working as designed.



I am also pleased to announce that I have a green light for exporting to Canada.
I will soon make a official release. New delivery bridge is almost set.
