After the blocks have been confirmed I know that but it sure takes a long time for confirmation.

After the blocks have been confirmed I know that but it sure takes a long time for confirmation. Yes it is 4 minutes x 250 blocks so 250 x 4 = 1000 minutes = 16,6666666667 hours

I've been mining at the pool since a little after the start and the payouts started promptly when the first block I mined on fully confirmed. I'm still getting payouts consistently.

Full stats: https://github.com/fonziecoin/fonzie/blob/master/README.mdHmm, isnt it 240 + the 10 for tx maturity? I will correct it to 240 You can spend a non-coinbase output before it even confirms if it is a normal transaction, actually, if you are talking about when a miner can spend the funds that you sent to them (non-coinbase). That's how miners snipe transactions to weak brain-wallets, for example, by spending them before anyone else can and mining the actual block where they are spent. In terms of spending coinbase, FonzieCoin is 240 blocks. For reporting, some parts of the wallet use GetBlocksToMaturity, which adds 5 to the coinbase maturity (240). However, that extra 5 is just for reporting in the Qt or by RPC. That 5 has no influence on spendability. The network considers a coinbase output to be spendable after 240 blocks.

FONZIECOINAre you ready to get back to the good ole days when alts didn't have premines, ICOs, instamines, ninja launches, ninja diffs, empty promises, crippled miners, or slick marketing? If you are, then you'll dig FonzieCoin. LAUNCHED!DownloadsGitHubhttps://github.com/fonziecoin/fonzieWARNING DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS!!!!Windowshttps://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8rWObF4xz1YbENoTUY5SDNnZjA/view?usp=sharing DO NOT DOWNLOAD
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Machttps://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8rWObF4xz1YUEtSeDJJWHlxY1U/view?usp=sharingPoolPartner pool: https://xfz.suprnova.ccPooled mining requires some modifications to stratum. Right now suprnova is the only pool with the mods. Solo mining works out of the box. Tor ConfigurationThe tor port is configurable with "torport=" in conf file (default 59590). FAQWhat is FonzieCoin?Four hours of fair launch low reward blocks, no premine, no ICO, no ninja, high starting diff (3000 diff for SHA256), no instamine. Just a wholesome crypto that we have tried to make as fair as possible. Got some stats?500,019,740 max proof-of-work coin supply, 20% stake, 120 day mining period, SHA256, 4 minute block times Why did you choose SHA256?Because we like it. And it's fair because it's commonplace. So anyone can rent SHA256 hashes for about the same price as anyone else. You don't need special mining equipment, etc., etc., etc. Is it green?Sure. After the 120 day mining period, it's completely Proof Of Stake. Why did you do this?Because Fonzie is cool. Why should I mine this?If you like Fonzie, have some SHA256 hashes to spare or can rent some, and like fair coins, this one is for you. What do you mean by fair launch blocks? The first 60 blocks after genesis have low rewards. The starting difficulty is 3000 for SHA. Block 1 (after genesis) has a block reward of 40. Block 60 has a block reward of 500. All other fair launch blocks have a block reward between 40 and 500. Block 61 has a reward of 9322. The total reward for blocks 1-60 is 19740 coins, which comes out to 0.0039% of the entire money supply. With the starting diff at 3000, it will be hard to get even that first 40 coin reward for block 1. IMPORTANT: We did block rewards a little differently than they are usually done, so if you review the code, please realize that block rewards are found in src/powreward.h. We aren't hiding them! Pools?Yes. At least one trusted pool will be available upon launch. We will wait 5 minutes after launch before putting any hash on FonzieCoin. We will hash with 1 TH/s (rentable for about 0.01 BTC/day = $2.50/day) until we know other miners are on it, then we'll bump it up after the fair block period and mine as much as we can just like the rest of you. We will try to get as many pools on board as possible and provide github sources at launch, so our trusted pool will have this one advantage of being ready to roll. Partner pool: https://xfz.suprnova.ccRoadmap?We don't have a roadmap, so don't ask. This coin is about Fonzie, PoW+PoS, and fair SHA256 hashing. Do you have plans? We are going to roll with it and see what happens along the way. What's the catch of all the fairness? We make no promises to do anything but fix bugs if they arise. Does this coin have anything going for it besides a Fonzie theme and the whole fairness thing? Not at the moment. Will it be redundant if I point that out?Yes it will be redundant. Do you think that's gonna stop me?Probably not. JUST thinking about mining this coin is giving me a boner!! LOL seriously tho im downloading this right now WARNING THIS POST CONTAINS A MALICIOUS WINDOWS QT LINK!!! THIS GUY HAS DONE THIS TO SO MANY COINS THIS IS BEYOND A JOKE NOW! ONLY DOWNLOAD LINKS FROM ORIGINAL POSTS!

What SistaFista is saying is to not download any clients except from the actual OP. A big scam these days is to quote the dev of a coin and then to hide a malicious link in the quote. The OP links are safe, but any quotes are probably not.

I saw that, but forevercoin is a fake coin. Try to find it anywhere on the internet. It exists in one place: on c-cex. FonzieCoin isn't dead just like Fonzie isn't dead. But read the OP: no promises, no roadmap. I'm not sure what it takes to get on an exchange, maybe CryptoAsian PoD. I'd do it if everyone can scrape 0.5 BTC to get the pure anonymous PoD. And if you don't like anonymous devs, then FonzieCoin is not for you. That probably won't stop bitching, so feel free to bitch about anonymous devs below, but when you do, remember this: No ICO, No ninja, no premine, no instamine, fair launch, no promises, no slick marketing. It won't stop the bitchers from bitching, but if it makes them feel better about their miserable lives, then we can't do anything to stop them.

No ICO, No ninja, no premine, no instamine, fair launch, no promises, no slick marketing. Plus, dont forget you made good on the first failed launch and came back with a working coin. That good enough in my book. Would love to see this coin hit an exchange. I'm sure someone around here has a connection to an admin at an exchange somewhere.
