The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

When you trade Bitcoin the Bitcoin is usually being held by the escrow since it can't be charged back, after the "goods" have been delivered and secured the escrow may release the Bitcoin.

Here is a list of some escrow guys on this forum - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=108716.0

You can also use https://www.bitrated.com for escrow from some well known people and with the use of system that is specially built for that.

You can also check out some escrow webistes, however doing it with trusted members is always better.
External sites like https://btcrow.com/ explain the process of escrow really well .

When the subject of buying BTC with Paypal comes up, I often remember this:

Having a responsive escrow is very important for a confortable use of the escrow service. It would be nice to rate escrows from 1 to 5 depending on their average reponse time.

This one is pretty good, but I don't know if it is updated:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=276897.0

Do you just post insubsantial posts only for bost your post count? Have you read at least the ultimate post from Financisto or not?

Greetings to all!

I'm sorry I'm gonna lock this thread.

Reason (as mentioned before by our friend Dabs) is:

Quote
I'm sure Financisto is fine, he's probably just busy with real life stuff. [...]

As I've been VERY busy lately, I decided this way...

I hope others will (or already are) keep some list like this one...

And for those worried/curious about: I have not lost my faith in Bitcoin. We're still in the first stage. Crypto currencies are the future!

I wish a wonderful new year for everyone!

Cheers!

I will report your thread

OP, I suggest you to use devthedev or monbux.

I know it is locked, although the OP might as well update it. He was last active on 22 February.

Go ahead.

I didn't realise the link was the same one as KHW's one, sorry.  Lips sealed
