Okay! Look at this page, it's for XPY but the instructions for the staking encrypted wallets is still valid.
It will explain what you need to do. It covers both win and nix clients :-)

https://hashtalk.org/topic/24998/guide-to-wallet-staking

Hope it helps you out.

I need some help please I have encrypted my wallet but I can't open it for minting.

I've tried this in debug console  walletpassphrase <passphrase> <timeout> [mintonly]

It does not work though. Any ideas?

Just Unlock it for minting.

https://github.com/novacoin-project/novacoin/wiki/FAQ
That's exactly what I want to do. That link does not send me to the command I need to unlock it. Please note I am not a coder so its needs to be a plain answer. The link provided is a bit too "advanced" for a simpleton like me.

walletpassphrase mypassword 9999999

any progress on getting listed on an exchange?

I see that Unrealcoin got listed in https://btcpool.exchange/market?pair=URC/BTC within a few hours of releasing their coin.

perhaps you guys should make a run at Bleutrade which is a great place to get started...

I hope this helps.

We submitted to Bleutrade and never heard back from them.

I am going to try to hammer Bittrex one more time from Twitter. A member on the team submitted BBCC to Bittrex Exchange and they said they were watching this coin...

Maybe BTC38 might be one to consider.

I am not sure if you were the one that got BBCC on YoBits Exchange but I tell you it could not have been a better time because the Community was getting restless. Good looking out!!

Why this coin is not on Bittrex is bizarre. Why its price is at 0.0000180 BTC Sell| Buy 0.00000200 BTC is equally as bizarre. Some person with a giant farm or group of people are solo mining this at a cost that is many times over its current price. For some reason nobody is buying except for the low ballers. Equally as strange is that people are selling to the low ballers. My guess is this coin is going to be very expensive one day but most likely not today unless the same people mining start buying.

The Core Team needs some volunteers from the BBCC Community that are holders to try to get BBCC onto larger exchanges. Plus seek out Merchants and Pay services. There needs to be a couple people from that bunch to help monitor this Forum and answer peoples questions.

The BBCC Core Team is slammed and in need of the community to handle some of these things that help move the coin forward yet need no approval from anyone to do so just like any open source CryptoCurrency technically is run according to the old school rules.

Would be great if there is a decent coder out there that is a holder of BBCC that would consider joining the Core Team and start planning some improvements to BBCC for when it takes off. If anyone is interested send a PM or email and we will do a small interview and decide if indeed your the right person for this.

I think we will continue to be stagnant until everyone that has an interest in this coin starts to do their part to make this work.

For those of you that have been helping here in the forum and retweeting the Official BBCC Team Tweets and everything thing else we thank you and ask that hopefully you will still continue to do so because that is a major component in the success of a long term coin project like BBCC.

Check out this giant Network Hash Rate below!!!

    {

    },

however if you plug this transaction in here: http://cryptoplorer.com:3007/search

it only shows: 0.91616400

why the discrepancy?

and more wallet weirdness....

Okay, I have initiated a voting request at BTER https://Bter.com

Only thing is Voting is dependent on you having an account and balance on Bter as stated in the quote below:

Quote
Coin Voting
Please help us to vote the best coins in your opinion. We are going to list the best coins you selected. To avoid spamming for bots, only registered users with order history (Bter Points (BTR) > 1000) or having enough balances are permitted to vote. You get 1 to 10 free votes per hour based on the amount of BTR you have. You can also spend your BTR on payment votes, which is at least 100 BTR per vote based on the votes of this coin and the votes of all coins. All the BTR payments are collected and donated to Bter.com's Public Interest account to support community development, help people, and promote progressive technologies. We reserve the right to add new coins to the markets outside of the voting list.
You are welcome to recommend new coins to us by submitting a ticket at http://support.bter.com/hc/en-us/requests/new with the coin announcement link.

Bter also has a fairly good volume, (Fiat : $51898, BTC : ฿251 and LTC : Ł330) as of this posting. Not at all shoddy to say the least.

you can Vote here https://bter.com/voting#BBCC

Regards
