thesherpa is not a scammer and does not have sock puppet accounts
However, there has been a continual problem with a scammer in several of the main irc coin channels. The scammer imitates another known user by using a very similar name with one character changed. thesherpa has been instrumental in tracing and publicizing this scammer, so either you are the scammer, attempting to ruin his reputation or you have been a victim of this kind of scam. either way thesherpa did not scam or attempt to scam you. To all others never do off market trades on IRC with any coin. yes it is common on bittrex irc channel, someone keeps trying to fraud people using a username "bittrex-'richie" but the real username is bittrex-richie now did you spot the difference between the two. just be careful never trade on IRC In case anyone cares: http://pastebin.com/8GAGRPnWThis contains the full log that pastebin comes from. thesherpa implicates user aabtce as the real scammer, who fails terribly. it also has a pastebin inside it with a huge list of ip addresses tied to the scammer. Please never trade offmarket people. no matter how smart you think you are, the person offering a deal is going to take your coins or money and run. |

The link you provide shows the known scammer "aabtce" attempting a similar smear campaign in IRC, the context of that convo was the thesherpa outing "aabtce" as a scammer. I am looking at modifying Boottle which is a client web wallet that you run local and has easy button to turn darkpoold server on and off. Right now is command line only.
Burn period runs for ~30 days from block 17000.
