indeed between the master nodes, markets, burning etc will all completely overshadow the 1 CRAVE per pos block over time which will keep inflation to a slow crawl lol if any at all.

great concept  Cool

dev kept pos low because as price rises and features rarity price increase

thing is...roughly 525000 crave will be generated every year...so that will increase the number of markets and masternodes that can be used to expand the market

Mine has been open since POS phase began.  I staked four coins, and it's been nothing but orphans since.

You might need to delete the block chain and let it re-sync.

I shutdown the wallet and relaunched with a -reindex.  It worked for a bit and staked a single coin, then orphaned the next one.  Going to leave it alone for 24 hours and see what happens.

Deleting the .conf file feels extreme and risky.  Is that really the only option to fix this?  I've probably had 100-200 orphans, maybe more...

Back up the conf file before you delete it.
If a problem occurs just copy and paste again.
This worked for Crypto Latino

I have removed the .conf file and my wallet seems to be working just fine no orphans ?

Yes so far so good .
what I did remove .conf delete and bye. save wallet.dat and peer and deleted the rest. waited for wallet to fully sync with out interruption and without .conf by the way if they where a .conf I think it should be named as the folder it is in which has a capital C rave. 1s in sync close wallet and replace wallet.dat a peer with yours, Open wallet and start to stake.
I threw in chunks of 600 and spilted and stakes nicely still looking to see how much it will split without orphans. What I did notices is that after some stakes my wallet showed a different balance did a repairwallet and problem continued so I redid this proses and all good again

Does someone know what's going on here?

error: {"code":-4,"message":"Error: The transaction was rejected! This might happen if some of the coins in your wallet were already spent, such as if you used a copy of wallet.dat and coins were spent in the copy but not marked as spent here."

try typing "repairwallet" in wallet console

where you read that will be generated 525k crave every year?

thats what I mean... it should keep a good balance, as the coin/community grows in the coming years there will be more demand for masternodes and people opening markets to counteract the 525000 CRAVE created each year

it works for most coins if you ever think your balance is missing coins just type "repairwallet" into the debug console

But if you burnt coins or you are running a masternode or market, those coins are not staking so it will be less than 525k generated. Am I right? With so many ways to use crave it is unlikely that people will be staking them but on the other hand staking should be very profitable because there won't be enough coins. That's why IMO profitability of masternodes, staking, markets etc. will be or become balanced with the passing of time.

1 min blocks, 1 coin per block = 1440 coins a day * 365 days = 525,600 yearly in pos rewards. so this time next year (depending on how many are burnned) we could be up towards 1 million coins, the year after 1.5 million.

$MAID & $BTC other than that some short hodls and some long held garbage.

the blockchain will continue to tick, so however many blocks pass in a year is how many coins will be created. but you're right the amount of coins in circulation will stay close to the same because of coins being burnt and being used in nodes or markets  Cool

also if less coins stake, the difficulty to solve a block would lower, it will maintain a target stasis of 1 minute blocktimes on average unless there were so few staking inputs that none were left mature. (which means we should see 520k blocks yearly regardless if a portion are burnt or held up in masternodes)

yup and smaller holders will have better success staking overtime as well when large sums are put away for markets,nodes... I think CRAVE has an awesome balance

POS aww damn, I hate POS. Maybe this coin will change my mind but I still don't like the fact that no money is going in (POW) but money is coming out (POS).
