Is now a good time to buy BTC and wait it out long term?
Probably yes. As it is widely predicted that the price will rise up in coming months after block halving, so it is obviously a good chance to earn some profit if someone can afford to buy. But someone should invest what he can afford to lose because it is just predicted, no one is sure if what will happen in coming time, we can just hope for the best. |

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

My Answer is Yes, it is same like that thing you are saving your money in bank,just like you buy bitcoins and wait when bitcoin price will grow than you get a profit. it is a kind of good business, |

Price seems to be pretty good at a moment, many of them are waiting for price to drop but I don't think it will drop now so I am trying to buy as many as I can. |

I myself will wait for lower prices, because I believe the current prices will be decreased, before later increased after halving.
It is possible that the price might fall a bit before the halving but it will not be a significant decrease. |

The chances of the bitcoin price falling at the moment is very low so there might be no use in waiting for the price to drop. |

I will advise you to create your own opinion about future price of bitcoin. All advises here are good, every prediction have some chance to come true. On which price will you bet you decide alone. Why I say you that, to many different opinions and predictions..And in the fact nobody knows the real truth. We all can just hope for the best, and to try to make best possible prediction. In many ways all this remind on gambling. So calculate odd`s, see how much is your bankroll, check what other people talking and only then decide what you will do and where will you invest. If the price of bitcoin skyrockets in coming years then you can surely become a billionaire with it but for that you also need to hold good volume of coins. That is my plan to hold as many coin as possible. My first target is to join the 1 million club. I will own 21 bitcoin. |
