re. the posted pc above, yes obviously they're gonna use a pre-made unit by a tech company.  you can't expect a coin dev to build they're own hardware from scratch lol.  the hardware is their supplier choice (whoever it may be) and they made the software wbbos from scratch to run on it.  they then will give people/companies the option to buy the hardware unit they sources with their wbbos on it, OR you can just get the wbbos software.

i posted this OP msg on March 5th...go check WBB history chart to see what the price did that day and since then.....just sayin'  8) ;)

thanks for bump on that news, yes, WBB/1EX is coming thru bigtime.  lesser known team but one of the best tech's in the biz, just wait till they release things now until 2017 (and beyond) - you'll see them at the top.  hopefully ppl have been smart enough to buy and not just read/fall for all the ICO bullshit.  sure make some btc there but you better 'invest' into something like wbb to be safe.

I think the unorthodox name helped keep this gem off the radar, but that seems to be changing.  Totally worth at the very least giving this coin a serious look.

The only problem I have with WBB is the name.  I don't think it sounds credible enough for large scale adoption.

I know that it's kind of an awkward name, but I went back and looked at the graveyard of dead alts and what names they and I saw some great sounding coins that went absolutely nowhere if not full scams from the start.

WBB stopped updating the thread after they hit 2,700 transactions per second and stated that they are looking to hit 5,000 TPS at a minimum.

Could be that they hit their target and are getting ready to launch V5 and this could be the end of the cheap coinage.

Also with direct bank linkage it allowes to transfer fiat instantly from the bank to the exchange.

Trades can be made in Crypto to Crypto or fiat to Crypto in any combination.

Fees are as low as 0.15% and even lower on larger trades.

With v2 traders get group trade options and much much more.

There is a bit of a point to that statement though.  I think this thread was started because of the physical hardware that was to be developed, and now there is no mention of it anywhere.

I'm probably the least qualified to answer this, but what the hell.  

It looks like WBB has many similarities to other newer coins, but as far as I can tell, the other coins are building the platforms and then expecting other industries to develop the tools they need to utilize them.

WBB is building the network and building the tools specifically for multiple kinds of insurance needs (and more to come after that?).  

I guess there are some differences in the tech too, but I'm not savvy enough to understand all that stuffs.

I've observed over the years that the scammier projects tend to have solid design work making them look pretty and legit.  WBB's design work looks like it's done by programmers who are technically proficient, but design is not their strong point (I'm putting that nicely).

They've come through on their word in the past over and over again so I'm willing to grant them the benefit of the doubt, and you should too huggy bear!

In the business world, the year is split into 4 quarters (3 month blocks).  April 1st is the start of the 2nd quarter.  So essentially they are looking to have enough set up by the start of the Q2 to announce without breaking the NDA agreements with companies they have on the hook.

The wbb devs are still pretty insistent that what they are doing is different than other similar projects.  Probably not the end goal, but the in the way the technology will get to that goal.   Only time will tell, I suppose.

I was in the slack up until Feb 28th and then got booted. No explanation. Maybe because I never posted. But the new WBB name was supposed to be revealed Mar 1 to the slackers. I'm pretty disappointed about getting the boot and have no news to offer except it should be revealed 'soon'. That said I still believe in this project and will buy more if price goes lower. I think its people panic selling on the total sudden radio silence.

It might be a good move to have the new name "soon" as this has been a common word in the old thread, I really should have signed up to the slack ages ago.

If V5 does all that is it hyped to do, it might leave dash in the dust.  It will be interesting what happens to purely anon coins when government sticks it fat nose all way down the crypto rabbit hole.  I don't think there is anything they can do to completely stop a decentralized crypto, but that will kill any hopes for mainstream adoption pretty quick.

I hope V5 really has the choice between anon or regular transaction built in.  Seems like maybe the only way a good crypto could survive mainstream adoption in such a scenario.  But who knows.

yes there's a new name/rebrand and biz direction which slack insider group members know, if leaked you get banned apparently so nobody sharing it, mature group at least.  also there's an NDA for whatever business side of things will kick in (prob after April sometime) and the platform is open for use.  that is just guess btw.

Ok so I moved a vast majority of my WBB to the Panthera OS running on VM and now the WBBOS will not boot.  It just kicks me strait back to the login after starting to boot up.

WBB has had 2 x 51% attacks on it on Trex in the last 3 days.
Thieves taking what they can before new tech makes it impossible. The Dev has forked out the coins both times so none of the community is out of pocket.

This place (BCT) is a cesspool, everything happens on slack now for most major coins. As with this, all updates are there. Development is still under way and the new wallet is very close. If your relying on BCT for you research you are going to have a problem.

Final test wallet will be done by users on slack from Monday then depending on any bugs a maximum of two weeks before final release.

They will be running on the old chain the new one is totally different you will have a few months to swap over and I am pretty sure you can get new wallet and move to that from old one but easiest way is to move them to 1ex.trade then back to new wallet.
Most of us now just have coins on 1ex and the swap will be automatic.They are in cold storage there and as it will be the only place they will be traded and new tech allows rollbacks they are safe.
Then when V5 wallet comes out and you download it can go back to cold storage, though I believe we have some sort of POS inbuilt somewhere so may be a benefit in keeping it open. All will become apparent in next two weeks

For Trex I think you just need to start a support ticket to have the coins sent to your address, It wont be listed there again so you will have to do that.

Given that there has been no market price for the WBB coin for many weeks and lack of transparency from the management team, I consider WBB a failed investment especially when compared with other coins in my portfolio like Bitcoin, Verge or Factom which have done well since my purchases in April 2017.

I noticed that everyone that replied to my post is a Full member or higher. That means something, likely only the experienced hands will see the value of the project where others may only see the lack of liquidity and abrupt departure of WBB from Bittrex after the attack on the WBB blockchain. For now I will hold onto my shares at the 1ex exchange and see how this plays out. Together i have a good feeling about this, they rank 325 on the Coinmarketcap list and if analyze the currencies between spot 200 and 400 they much more done then the other currencies. I have a feeling they didn't much on Marketing and because of that i want to invest before the mass know about it.

Yes please join the slack if you can, that's where all the info is. Dev is actually really responsible and helpful in there, and I can completely understand why he left this site (and you will to if you look through the closed thread, it's just non-stop trolling). Wbb is an easy target for trolls and fud because of its name, its an easy coin to look over because of its name and apparent inactivity on here, but I honestly believe it is one of if not THE best hidden gem on this site right now. It's a high risk investment, but the potential is insane.

no, 1st half of 2017 was the setup of 1ex.trade and tech behind wbb changeover to new chain and name/coding/etc.

2nd half of 2017 is going to be epic as it is when everything finally gets put into place and USED in real time, so you'll see volume/pricing moving.  8)

I is reasonable to feel that way, it has been a prolonged process and certain aspects have taken longer than initially expected.
but on the plus side the time has been spent ironing out any possible issues and gaining real world customers on a totally new take on blockchain tech.
Think of it like a reverse ICO. but one where they spent their own money developing it and fairly mining it.

Well GRR 3 years is about right to build a full eco system and block-chain usage with clients on board. What is under performing? no promises were ever made, It would still be soaring on Trex no doubt if not for the 51% attacks. (that dev forked out 80k to cover losses for users)
So you could throw your money into ICO's that at best 2% will have achieved there goal in 3 years or just hold onto one that has done the hard work and is in final release testing.

It was delisted at WBB devs request because they were not able to stop the attacks on the script algo.  Now WBB has been swapped for CHBT and trading continues until the roll out of the V5 that will drive CHBT and the services utilized by their clients.

WBB is way more alive than it ever was, it's just under a new name  ;)

You would lose money, the last day to swap WBB for CHBT shares was 10/31 as per the https://1ex.trade website disclosure. Remaining WBB tokens will be burned I understand.  I don't believe CHBT is trading yet anywhere with any meaningful liquidity and there is no coin market cap listing. Investors in CHBT have been promised additional information on how the DLS AG and CHBT.ch business models are related. Many current CHBT investors have started staking their shareholdings. I am still long a small position in CHBT and have a wait and see point of view.

It might have started open source but it isn't now.  This is not what I would call your normal crypto project. 

In my world, "crypto" and "not open source" are pretty much mutually exclusive. I mean, I guess if you want to keep the first mover advantage, it's fair to stay closed source until you go public, but having a live blockchain and little to no public looking time is all kinds of problematic.

They aren't going after the public...  yet.  There is a ton of info about the interface for both the business and public side right on the company website.  You can even see which industries have invited them to conferences to speak about their blockchain solution for big businesses and human services applications.
