Thats weird I have never heard of a gambling site / game that has 0% house
edge. I guess their form of revenue would be advertisements then? Just seems odd
and would be afraid to deposit or win to much that they wouldn't pay.

I'm not sure i'd trust a site with 0% edge. the best sites are upfront about where you stand and it's provable. this sounds like a way to tempt the greedy, and gamblers already are, and help themselves to your money either by an exit scam or screwing you on your wins.

The 0% HE on bitcoinbetting.website seems temporary. I am not sure what to think about that site because they first had a 50% HE and took a long while to fix that. I think  there is no zero percentage house edge gambling sites are there.  Because it is not worth for site owners. That is what I know too. I know they would go for a lesser house edge, but having completely no edge against gamblers, that will be suicide for their business. They spring up every now and again but dont seem to last the test of time.  The reason is because there are middle men that need to get paid somehow.  We need gambling sites with no central 4rd party for a true 0% experience.  Then somehow these need to be popular.

Rake is kind of similar to house edge in that it depends on your skill level: if you play at someone with an equal amount of skill as you and you're able to average out wins & losses at the same number of chips/cash (i.e. you win 5, you lose 5) then that's a -ev play.

Even if you use a martingale method on anything beyond a 0% house edge you are always destined to lose in the long run. The game would have to be effectively rigged or you'd have to have really shitty luck (or not a big enough balance) otherwise. 1% house edges still screw gamblers, although less than what other casinos would.

If there in fact is a casino running with zero house edge, that will still not enough for a player to secure a profit long term, what you need is a players edge, which can be obtained in a handful of games and in very specific circumstances.

0% house edge is not impossible and it is happening but it mostly happens as a promotion and mainly in new sites to attract more players or in old sites as a reward for their anniversary for example.

There were some sites which gave even negative edge but we all know what happened to them.

So if a site is giving 0% edge then it is obviously for temporary.

But, as has been discussed many times before in this thread, gamblers lose out their winning because of greed. The house edge is casinos expected profit relative to the size of the wager. i.e. A house edge of 1% simply means the casino would expect to make 1 BTC for every 100 BTC wagered. Obviously there is variance and what not, so the house's actual profits tend to be surprisingly far away from their expected profits.

But, as bankroll of the house is in general bigger than an individual player, they manage to keep the bank rolling in the long run and hence make profit.

Because you said that a X% house edge means the house has X% more chance of winning than the player. However, that's not quite true in the generic case.
