It syncs but the wallet thinks it is not synced, because at the moment there are hours between blocks.

Guys, Please make sure you take the .conf file i included with the windows wallet and put it in the proper folder or else you might not stake/stake really slow. :)

Great news! Altho, that exchange has  a really low volume so im not sure if any trading will actually take place there at all.

We are up and running and every seems to be going fine on this end.  The coins that you sent are there and after a period of time, with the wallet running, the coins popped into staking and a payout based on that has processed.  Looks just like it is supposed to.

I'm sure in time as more people find out about us having an exchange and as blocks become more common and more exchnages get added some people with weak hands will likely begin selling, it's just how things work.


However distribution is still ongoing so it's unlikely we will see much price movement until after distribution is done which at this rate won't be too long, but you never know.

I did deposit all of the airdrop into the exchange, so it will stake there. I will let you know how it works later on.
However, i find it kind of insecure that the exchange does not feature 2 factor authentication at all.
If the exchange wants to become a popular one, they must implement things like 2 factor authentication that will make the users feel alot more safe about storing funds.

Meh, Email and Phone 2FA is not all that secure anymore these days, sure it may help but if someone really wants in to your shit they can get around it too! :)


But yes, I think this exchange has lot's of potential with a few gui changes so i am happy to be listed there. :)

Too bad exchanges do not support for example option for PGP authentication or such, that would be really dope to be honest.
2 Factor authentication is as secure as the device that you are using it on, that stands for alot of different security methods.
And the exchange is pretty horrible looking, but still i think it lacks some options for security overall.

Don't sell your coin so cheaper because KNC is rare coin(only 420000 coin). Do you see bitok, Now bitok is selling 1 btc per coin, so why not KNC

I have received PM's from a few people regarding the future of the coin and have noticed a bit of skepticism, well I will certainly do what i can to diminish that skepticism I don't really see where it is coming from, So far the price of this coin has only went up, Everyone who was involved got at least 5-10USD for free, This coin will continue to improve and reach points of price discovery, Now i understand some of you feel that a coin needs "features" to be valued, This is simply not true. Take a look at many of the top 100 coins on CMC for example, Many of these claim to have features but in reality they don't have a working feature or it is useless to the industry they tried catering too, and are mainly valued because of the ICO, I could have certainly went the ICO route or made a Ethereum Token, but no, from the beginning I promised something Transparent, Clean and easy to use! So if you think this coin will not appreciate over the years, feel free to dump them onto my conglomerate. :)

Finally, I've managed to make kingncoind daemon compiled successfully on Linux CentOS 6

Is it listed in any exchange? I'd always go for organic growth as it can sustain the momentum. Need to have a bounty campaign to really the crowd involved. After that its just exponential growth if the dev team utilizes the crowd effectively. All the ICOs happening are perfect examples.

Yep their is no problems, I said from the beginning block times will be a bit delayed to begin with as we get more nodes/wallets running and staking smooths out, Everything is fine. :)

Also good to note some of my balance is still reserved from staking. :)

If you had been watching the blockchain at all over the past few days we average 40-50 Blocks a day and from what I've seen a 2-3 hour delay has happened a couple times in the past, no reason to be alarmed.


I'd also like to point out this is not the 1st time btcking has bugged out and he sold his first coins i gave him @30kea  :P

But people must understand that, they need to open their wallets for staking sometimes.

The difficulty is still low.
I have about 20 coins and my experience says, that if I leave my wallet closed for 3 or 4 days, chances are that next time I will open it, it will stake in about 1-2 hours.
Thats what I do always with POS wallets if they pay with % per time.

All these days only 2 new coins created.
Even if the price reaches 10 BTC each the market cap will be too low to get people interested.
In 100 years there will be less than 10000 coins  ???

From what was set aside by the dev team to allow people who missed distribution to get in almost all of it is gone, so who knows once this last little bit on coinsmarkets goes what will happen. :)

Even with price suppression we could not keep it down.

People are obviously going to dump and take the profit, that's what small fish do, but what they don't seem to understand is how far we can take this. :)

It is not a big deal, but I couldn't get solo mining set up for some reason.  Kept kicking a not rec'v error and I even took the port declaration out of the conf and used netstat to check for a listening port and nothing. 

Who knows, not a big deal, just thought that the diff was just right for an attack and it never panned out.

Also as far exchanges go, We have stated numerous times we want to slowly make our way everywhere, But that takes time without paying, I think a major step for getting listed more places would be getting on coinmarketcap, I have contacted them, offered to pay and numerous other people have contacted them as-well so... not sure what the fuck they are doing, starting to get on my nerve a bit. :P



Also In case anyone is wondering about this long block time, literally everyday at around this time their is a 2-3 hour delay, we are working on smoothing that out, it's simply because so many coins are being moved and sent to exchanges staking is a bit delayed. :)

my wallet has 20 connections now, this is a good sign usually have 7 or so.

It's refreshing to see genuine enthusiasm in such a coin.

After reading through a few pages I was curious if this coin had any unique features or tech that I overlooked?

Nope, nothing, only a coin with extremely low supply, that and Dev enthusiasm got this coin so high, somehow  :-\.

Blockchain in itself is a level of innovation that most of you are yet to properly understand, this coins price is not high at all, I still consider this market cap peanuts in fact. If you want a better understanding of the features this coin has you only have to look at our monetary system and see what is wrong with it, sure kinngncoin might not be the gold standard of crypto but really out of the top100 coins on cmc more then 50 of them have no use case or the use case they are supposed to have is not currently being used/ready. We certainly have a few ideas of features we would like to add in the future but at the moment that is not the priority.

The withdrawal charges for KNC on yobit.net is very very very HIGH... too much.... 0.01KNC withdrawal fee???? That is far too too too outrageous.

I think it's okay, as the KNC confirmation is taking 1-2 hours i think Its still worth it and also 0.01 fee is from the start KNC added to yobit so doesnt matter if now price up and about the fee

I mean we are still up more then 5X in the last three days, You have to expect some people to dump. But what you need to take note of is that the sell wall is not getting very big, it would only take 4 bitcoin to bring us up all the way to .20 meaning the people dumping won't ever be getting those coins back at a cheaper price, everyone is hodling for the long term.

This coin was developed for storage of wealth in a low inflation environment this is going to take time to find median ground but i suspect we are nowhere near the end. ;)

All this talk has lead me to explaining to you guys about about the future I envision for this coin.

Regardless of what happens at this point, all servers are secured for the next year heck few years in the foreseeable future and is never going to be an issue. What i would like to touch upon is Coin ownership and decentralisation, I think once we reach a price point much higher then this it would be good to shift control of the coin to those who hold the largest portions and allow for everything related to the coin to be decided by groups in that manner. Of course i would be a member of that group forever as i will always support my coin and never sell everything but what i am saying is, if you own a large portion of this coin it is as much yours as it is mine and if you want to do something with it, tell someone something, disagree with me you have every right to do voice those thoughts, This is full transparency we don't got time for the shitcoins you are used too.

I would like this system to work in ways that would be like Half a percentage Of coin ownership would result in 1 Vote/Opinion/Stake, Resulting in 200 votes that have a right to discuss and decide what is the best path for the coin, This should allow us to evolve with the times and stay up to date with where we need to be, attract a younger and older audience then traditionally. The benefits are large and almost endless. (Keep in mind we are far to early for something like this to be completely feasible but it is in practice already as much as possible and i will let you all do what you want)

What price will be in the near future?

This is not something I control nor will i try to manipulate, people will buy and sell coins for whatever price they feel comfortable but I will say i think we are still in price discovery and i very much doubt that 3-6 months from now 0.01 is the ceiling, with such a low supply all we need is a continuous but small flow of people looking for a couple coins each and we are good. :)

We are Essentially a deflationary currency for at least 3-5 months since altogether from what has been brought forward people have lost 16 coins, lol.

Thats a lot on our small supply.

It started at under 1 btc market cap! Maybe dev is investing in his own coin, and if so is that such a bad thing? He did it in a fair and transparent way and those who were paying attention to the details made easy profit without investing anything. Well I have managed to get 1+ KNC so far on YoBit and still chugging away... This is the first purchase on YoBit that I intend to HODL  ;D

Hey guys, im pretty new to this crypto business. When i open the windows wallet, it says out of sync, and it doesnt do anything.  Is there something i need to do with the .conf file to start the sync? Sorry these are noob questions.  Been storing on exchange, but Id like to start keeping them in my own wallet.  Any help will be appreciated.  Ill be holding on to the few KNC I have for a long long time.

Thank you for the support, yeah over the last few days we seem to be under attack from an endless stream of dumpers due to the environment crypto is in right now with btc and eth falling, HOWEVER we have stayed stable through all of this, we have been pushed to 0.01 three times this week and recovered! No, actually the decrease in price is due to the stupidity of one of KNCs early adopters.

They loaned out almost 200KNC for .5BTC apparently as collateral and the person dumped it resulting in a fast flash crash, in fact i did not even know any of this happened when i woke up until someone told me because we recovered so fast, Also you guys have to keep in mind, aslong as you guys are selling at this price what incentive does one have to raise the price until the flow stops? (keep in mind this was a few days ago, not recent)

Yeah, it's painful to watch the price drop every single day.  I think so too that the developers should have plans and do something. Either make some development on the website or publish some good news or distribute some paper wallet and advertise it like it was planned in the beginning. it seems now after launch, the coin just stay there and let it free ride.

I think the price will go up soon. I see potencial in this coin because of low supply. With such a low supply u can see every $$$ movements practically. It's so normal, because bitcoin value going up and altcoins value does not in order it seems they are going down but the real value of them is not change . whenever bitcoin price  being stable other altcoins value will change , some of them going up some down and at that point this depend on community, dev and market for that altcoin .

Brief Background on KingN
Hey, my name is Kingn56 and I have been involved in crypto since late 2012, Being just a young teenager when bitcoin really started to make its mark on this planet, I was told about bitcoin and was intrigued to purchase some, over the years I have made plenty of stupid mistakes in crypto that have lead to me learning many good life lessons, For the past year or two me and a few colleagues have been questioning as to whether or not now would be a good time for us to launch a coin, well as you might have guessed we decided the time was now. With all the ICOs out here and the scammers I though it would be neat to launch an "OldSchoolish" style coin in which everyone has a fair chance at attaining some value regardless of how rich, poor you are, this coin will be created and distributed in a manner that is beneficial to everyone who puts some faith in me.


In the long-term, I would like this blockchain to be something like an anchor of my life achievements, I feel as if every time I achieve something significant in life I will make sure to buy Some KNC from the market to give myself a "boost". Someone once told me that the only thing we leave behind in this world is our bones well i'd like to change that, I feel as if this is a suitable way for me to continue to have a presence on earth even after i have past and a way to keep my legacy alive, I really do hope to see this block-chain Prevail and will do everything within my power to see that happen!

How to Add a config to your windows wallet for more nodes:
1. Download the windows wallet+config from the BCT talk thread.

2. Run the kingncoin exe, let if fully open then close it.

3. in the windows search type %appdata% and you should see a folder called roaming pop up.

4. open roaming and inside the roaming folder you should see a folder called kingncoin

5. take the kingncoin.conf file that i included with the wallet and drag it into their.

6. Reopen the wallet and you should now have 3-4 connections. :)
