This is really interesting. Our capital invested in cryptos become bigger and bigger, and we need to think of a way to transmit it in case of an accident. I don't know if there is any other projects like this, but I'm interested and I even candidated for the french translation  :)

DigiPulse.io is creating a service that will allow to inherit cryptocurrencies. We truly believe that it is overlooked in the rising crypto domain.

If I understand your question correctly, the deceased user is the one who decides on what to share with his inheritors. He will have a profile set up at DigiPulse, that will be shared with beneficiaries after the "inactivity" period.

By using our service, the user will be able to provide information about the inheritors - the more specific the info, the easier it will be for us to contact them. We will contact people through emails, phone calls and any other channels, that are provided by the original user.

I don't think you should post your ref link here. Imagine, someone who reads your post with the ref link, is already that much involved in the whole thing, that it would make no sense because he pretty sure already joined.

Better post it on Twitter, facebook, slack channels you joined, Telegram-chats you joined, maybe open a steemit account and create a profile promoting airdrops/good giveaways/campaigns. There are many possible ways to spread your ref link if you are willing to invest time in it.

So what this means is that on the 31st of August, when we stop the ICO, all of the ~1 million coins will be split on a pro-rata basis to the token holders.
The DGT and DGP have 8 decimals!

Let me give you two examples (in the case of the min and max cap):
Remember that bounties have 2% of tokens assigned to them from the total token amount
1 DGT = 0.004 ETH

1) Min cap - 8'000 ETH = 2'300'000 DGT (2'000'000 DGT + 15% token reward).
2% = 46'000 DGT (reserved for bounties)

98%	2'254'000	980'000
2%	46'000	20'000

Now you have to take into account the specific bounty, e.g. Twitter. It has a 30% bounty pool from the 2% = 13'800 DGT.
Then you have to look at the stakes you have gained by supporting us. Looking at the picture now, the top Twitter bounty user has gained 18'830 stakes, which is 3.92% of all of the Twitter stakes. This equals 540.96 DGT. Looking at the pro-rata share this is equals 235.2 DGP coins!

2) Max cap - 60'000 ETH = 16'250'000 DGT (15'000'000 + all % token rewards).
2% = 325'000 DGT (reserved for bounties)

There were few discussions on russian thread and decided to translate for english thread too, since there are three types of peoples - the ones who think this project is useless, the ones who strongly believe in it and the ones... well who don't know about it :)


So idea is completely reasonable and has a great benefit. You simply have to answer to few simple questions to yourself:
1. Is the project feasible from technical point of view? - Absolutely, there are no obstacles for that.
2. How big is the demand for the project? - We all are mortal. In our technically evolving world, chance to die increases with every year (airplane, ferry, car, force major, terrorist attacks etc.)
3. Personal financial gain? - Deceased do not need the funds anymore, but with the help of the project you can increase your personal portfolio and also guarantees that you can leave them in the last will for the next of kin.
4. Assurance about the future? - Absolutely, by knowing that all your assets area guaranteed to be delivered to the inheritor, you can take the new challenges with much more confidence.

If you have any doubts, then it is completely normal for anyone. You can doubt everything all your life, guess whether that project or another one will succeed, but you will never know for sure unless you do something to help to make it come true.

Hi! Regarding sites that you post on - we have no limitations as long as it does not interfere with "good practice" of the service. By "good practice" I mean that you have to make logical decisions that should not hurt the reputation of the project. E.g. if you post information about our ICO on a cooking site, that might be irrelevant and cause a backlash from the site you posted in. Basically, you have to post it where it is relevant and acceptable. You can not spam a post in a website, because that defeats the purpose and is against the "good practice". I hope you understand what I am trying to say.

Regarding "specific sites" to post on - think of it this way: you are given a link from our website that tracks the contributions, so most likely people are going to contribute to our project from a site/forum/blog related to crytpo currencies, blockchain, etc. It is more useful to put in the effort to post it in the right place, rather than spam the post somewhere.  ;)

Regarding posting in the forum - I would advice against this, because we might get a warning from the moderators and the minimum amount of words is around 250. So if you know the rules of the forum and might know a sub-page where to post on - go for it. As long as you keep the "good practice" in mind!

So I do believe that the growth of the DigiPulse platform also partially depends on the adoption of digital currencies in general. Hi, the short answer is no. The long answer is that we have a "smart contract" that has the criteria in it to repay everything that has been contributed. 2% are reserved to bounties if the goal has been reached.


We applied for the usage of their API and asked for the opportunity to make asset transfers on behalf of users, if they wish so. They granted us this access.
Yes, this was tied to the initial platform we were building and it is our first partnering service. Most likely, after the successful ICO we will have to review this partnership (as we will have a bigger leverage and the community's support behind us) in terms of the amount and we plan on going in to business with more services. I do have another question: if I understand the white paper correctly, your service is mostly centralized so far, right? For example, if I use your service, store a private key in a vault and specify an inheritor, then you are going to manually pass on the relevant information to that inheritor should my DigiPulse account reach the defined level of inactivity. The vault is stored on a centralized database, correct?
Couldn't the whole process once be run on a blockchain so that users of such a service could set up a smart contract with the tools from your platform that automatically executes and sends the relevant information to the inheritor?
I see this scenario where the nut of "reliable digital identity" could have been cracked and everything could be automated as every person in the world could have a unique ID and specifying and - in case of death - verifying the rightful inheritor would not require any manual double checks, hence automation could be possible.
So the blockchain used within your platform only has a payment channel function, but - apart from the fact that DGT could be stored as a form of wealth on your platform - not a storage function as of yet, is that right or am I getting something completely wrong here?

I assume you refer to the Signature Campaign. If you don't post in this thread, you still get your daily standard reward according to your rank as long as your post count increases in general. If you post something in this thread, you get 10 stakes. Flooding and spamming is not allowed. Constructive and informing posts and btw, I am all for high quality posts as that also keeps the thread visitors reading through them and attracts them to support this project. So please take your time and post quality stuff. Other than that, the devs need to become slightly more active here or get someone involved who is allowed to keep this more active without being considered a flooder or spammer.

I wouldn't say this is necessarily bad as you never know the precise details behind the trust rating. Someone could rate you badly pretty easily, maybe even without justification. I think they presented an interesting white paper and they are transparent about themselves. I personally don't think they are going to scam, too much effort has been put into the development of the architecture.

I would like to urge everybody interested in this project (and not just the stakes for posting) to READ the white paper and ask structured and well specified questions. Also, most of the stuff can be found in the OP. If you just shit post in this thread, many thread visitors will take a few steps back from this. I don't think it is too demanding to ask for reasonable question.

DigiPulse is actually quite a nice name for the type of project you are going to launch. But when I read inheritance I get the feeling that there are many edge cases where your platform might have to solve quite some hassle, is that possible?

From the white paper it seems that there aren't really edge cases as the original asset holder either specifies everything in advance or the rightful inheritor would have to provide all the legal documentation. I assume that everything which could be considered an edge case would go to court anyway, and result in the proper legal documentation that DigiPulse then requires. Correct me if I am wrong!

I can only recommend to join the Slack channel. "d3" and "kvilis" are the people behind the project and they are super responsive and, more importantly, completely transparent about who they are! They seriously hide nothing. And I think that the whole setup is really professional: website, white paper, management of the bounty program and so forth. They acquired that account in order to be able to post pictures and stuff. They haven't scammed anyone on BCT. Check how the negative trust rating came into existence, it really has nothing to do with DigiPulse!

Not everyone can pay 10 or 20 eth. I find that personally very good .

I had a chat with Dmitry (DigiPulse dev) about this question. I quote him here:
"We dont control and do not encourage storing both private and public keys in plain text. We recommend storing this information in encrypted way and leaving salt/access key to the inheritor. Thus neither us, nor the intruder will be able to use this to their advantage. Primary purpose of our service is having the guarantee that nothing will go missing and inheritor will have access to all services."

So DigiPulse primarily does not store assets themselves, but information about where those assets are. If someone has a wallet at Coinbase and the original owner dies, maybe the rightful inheritors will never find out. DigiPulse jumps in and provides exactly that service: the Coinbase wallet owner specifies a way to address the rightful inheritor and DigiPulse - should the original owner die - informs the rightful inheritor about the connection between the original owner and Coinbase or provides the rightful inheritor with whatever information has been stored by the original owner on the Digipulse platform.

ERC223 is just an idea, it's not a standard. It has very little use case today, and it's not even a standard. It's just an idea of a stuborn guy.

It's not a standard, it's just an addidition to ERC20. For this project there is very little use-case for the ERC23. There are hundreds of ERCXXX proposals, might as well implement them all  :D

Regardless of how the developers are arguing over it at github, if Bittrex are willing to spend all that effort to make their exchange erc223 complaint then it is likely to be used more widely in future. If DGP prefer to stick with erc20 then that's no problem at all, it's already widely used and accepted everywhere.

I noticed a drop in posts on this thread, I guessed that the bounty guys gave up and moved on to other projects where they will definitely receive help bonuses. We need some big whales to reach minimum goal, or digipulse to reduce their required investment

We have been working hard behind the scenes and we will make our big announcement on the 31/08/2017! It will be available on our webpage, but I will remind you of that here, in Bitcointalks, when the time comes.

Our campaign still has a long way ahead, not only in the terms of reaching the min cap, but also in the grand scheme of the DigiPulse service! By this I want those who have participated in our bounties to know, that you're work will not be in vain. On 31/08/2017 we will announce a proposal for the bounty campaign members, but please be patient - we have to set everything up correctly.

I invest in this project, Of course, I expect the ICO will be succesful as the dev plan. When the ICo is succesful, the price of token will be increase in the exchanger. It means, all investors will earn profit.

I'm surprised that such a unique and important project has not gone well above the ico requirement. I think it is all about timing, people are now more wary due to other icos not delivering as promised i.e. not hitting the exchanges. If digipulse can give more assurances about the exchanges then more investors will follow.

It is probably synonymous to the fact that there are many ico at the moment .

What the team will do if they don't sell all tokens? They will burn unsold or they give money back?

If DigiPulse ICO project after crowdsale ended still cannot reach to minimum target raised fund, they will refund to investor. But devs this project said they will have big announce in August 31st 2017, maybe delay time crowdsale :).

Hopefully it will be to both delay the deadline of the ico and also to reduce the minimum cap. There are too many icos to choose from now and the number of investors has not risen enough to invest in all of them.

Yes, you are right there are too many ICOs now, and everyday there will be new ann of new token and altcoins. As investors, we are so careful to the roadmap. The roadmap is very important. When the developers make the roadmap real.

Getting 2k in eth would be a good result, but then I don't know the cost of creating such a system. Perhaps they can hodl the eth as it will certainly rise in value anyway.

Most investor cannot confirm an ICOs project good or bad at first. Because every project have a roadmap very interesting, unless bad project cannot do that because they just want scam our money. So, we just can confirm when have some problem crowdsale and check working attitude of devs.

Today, Devs DigiPulse will have a big announcements about future of their project. In my opinion, they will delay time crowdsale and create second round as your said, this is final way for helps this project success. If they do not do that, they need refund to investor like white paper.

They have a contract and they will be refunding all the invested eths on respective wallets. Also, they will be announcing what will happen today, here or in their site.

Today is the last day of this campaign and we have 19 hours left now. We already reached 1.8k eth and it is a big amount invested in an ICO, I'm waiting for the announcement that you told us, devs. :)

Rest assured, instructions on how to perform refunds will be listed on the website once smart contract will allow refunds (1st of September 00:00 UTC time).
We will send out newsletter to everyone who has signed up, set up info page on the website, communicate through the slack and post announcements here and in Russian thread too.
We are re-doing our ICO on 1st of October with MANY improvements both to concept and marketing. We are keeping this information not-public yet, not to confuse people. So whithin 14h we will post everything everywhere :)

The month long ICO for DigiPulse has come to an end! Our idea has raised 1924 ETH from 687 contributors and we are thankful for the huge support!

Unfortunately, we have not been able to reach our minimum goal of 8’000 ETH. As stated in the smart contract, all of the contributions are refundable (instructions here: http://www.digipulse.io/refund.pdf)!

What happens next?

Despite missing the initial cap, a lot of community members still would like to see our idea be brought to life (and we don’t feel like giving up), so that is why DigiPulse is announcing a token sale re-launch that is going to take place from October 1st until October 31st, with an all improved DigiPulse Project 2.0!

What has changed (why is it better)?

During the past couple of months, we have received a lot of valuable feedback from the community on various aspects of our idea (the team, token mechanism, service setup, marketing channel usage, exchange related issues, bounty structure, smart contract conditions, etc.) and we have taken all of those into account.

Our first ICO attempt was launched with nothing but an idea and a 2’500$ marketing budget. We have gained invaluable experience on how to run a crowdfunding campaign (the “do’s and don’ts”), have made additions to our team and have upgraded (if not re-hauled completely) our service!

The improvements for the DigiPulse Project 2.0 are the following:

• Investor supported ICO launch - in order for us to gain a bigger exposure (and in turn grant more value to the contributors), DigiPulse has acquired capital for an improved marketing campaign;
• Same idea, better concept - we have changed the way DigiPulse works at its core by removing mineable coins and only leaving a token, that now offers profit sharing. But we will also involve the community by offering them the chance to become storage providers;
• Bigger team - we have made additions to our team in the form of a legal advisor and a security audit specialist, who have already helped to shape the new concept;
• A prototype to show - we have addressed the “decentralization” and security issues by creating our own blockchain. The alpha solution we are currently working on will be made available to the public for testing till the end of September;
• Addressing the community - the first attempt helped us to better understand the power of the spoken word. We now have an improved plan in place that covers multiple communication channels, starting from Twitter and ending with Youtube (and everything in between);
• Momentum - last, but not least, the first ICO helped to put DigiPulse on the map! We are going to use this recently gained reputation to propel our idea to a much bigger audience, thus making digital asset inheritance a reality!

But, my bounties…

The bounties won’t be leaving DigiPulse for the v 2.0! If you have been a part of our first ICO’s bounty campaign, do not worry. We have an offer that will be fair to both parties.

You will be able to transfer your existing stakes from v 1.0 to v 2.0, if you continue to participate in DigiPulse Project 2.0! The old stakes will have a separate bounty pool of 1% allocated specifically to them from the new project (see Whitepaper).

E.g. If you were a Twitter contributor and had 172’660 stakes, all of these will be automatically transferred to the v 2.0, once you sign into the platform (on the 1st of October) and will grant you the pro-rata share of the 1% allocated pool. Every new Tweet in the v 2.0 will reset the stake count and grant stake admission for the 2% bounty share for v 2.0 bounty pool!

All of the bounties will be transferred automatically, once you sign into the platform (translation bounties will be transferred manually).

The bounty campaign officially closes on the 31st of August and will be re-opened on the 23rd of September. We will use this time transfer the stakes, set up the new tracking mechanism and improve our webpage! In this downtime, bounties will not be tracked!

Good point. The thing is we need to work on our bounty transfer and in addition, we have a lot of marketing activities planned outside of the internet.
We are looking for additional forces, who could help us make things go faster. This could speed up the date for bounty start.

take your time . rather a week later and a perfect ico than too early and not so good . this time everything has to run perfectly so the investors come . good advertising and maybe also on coinmarketcap a banner switch .

they do not have good marketing.  But this is still good concept/project. started token sale today. This is unique project might do well. don't miss. This fill gap for real issues with crypto and passing inheritance.

This project somewhat entails a greater purpose for long-term. You are able to pass on your digital assets to your children and etc.

Great concept but what I advice is you might need to blast more on marketing. Who knows, some big crypto individual might backed you up on this one.
