You can check out Binance’s twitter page, it has been mentioned that SONM will be listed in September but actual date is still unknown.

Yep they made the official cut when it came to making the new wave of coins featured on Binance. That should only help their case and I too think it is due for a pump. Currently

its above 2k sats and there was previous resistance there. Look for it to make a move soon, just like all alts probably if bitcoin consolidates for a bit.

That was a short impact due to the new exchange site already added the sonm token in there, but if will definitely not for the bittrex or other biggest western coin because that was a dividend token and it can be cconsiderable to be the security token.

Well I think it could easily go up to 30 or 40 cents, which would be a really nice profit, but the ATH of 1$ is also within sight to be honest, binance is a great platform so Sonm will definitely go up. Maybe once it's listed on Bittrex or Poloniex we'll see it pass the 2$ mark

I don't even care about the exchanges that SONM trades on. They seem to have the right focus... product first, trades later. Enthusiasm will be very high in Summer 2018 if they get their working product done in time, especially if they add exchanges later, so people can't pump/dump and move on to the next coin before that.

Well Sonm actually has a working product as an alpha release. Still I understand what you're saying, but most if not all cryptocurrencies have speculative value, as cryptocurrency is nowhere near global adoption

True, I don't like keeping track of all my accounts either. But sometimes you just have to walk an extra step to get the extra rewards, so I don't have a huge problem with it. Makes it a little easier to identify fresh projects and to asses what stage they are currently at, but it's definitely a bit annoying to have to move coins all over the place and to remember all of the exchanges that you are on.

If you are not sure , why not invest in both ? Better than all in one project , if they both rise next year its a win-win .

I pick sonm because the price per coin is still a lot cheaper than the other two, meaning I can get more of them for a smaller investment. Second, they're highly active and they try to communicate as much as possible. Third, they keep moving forward every day, whereas the other two often appear to have gaps in their development. Fourth, they already have a working product, be it in alpha state, but still. Last, I think the only reason why Sonm is not priced at 1$ is because they had a bumpy ICO to say the least, not because the coins are of low value.

Sonm is better in technical terms, but golem has better marketing and a stronger community. I think Sonm will win the battle eventually as it gets listed on bigger exchanges. Binance is the first big exchange and more will follow. Best to invest while it is still under ico price

Golem is older, and therefore listed on more exchanges, that's the only advantage right now because sonm is way more active.

Days have passed since the announcement and nothing even close to an explosion has happened maybe we should judge a coin by its merits and not by the amount of exchanges that list the coin.

The listing of a new coin usually stimulates more volume, and therefore the value. But you're right, Sonm will need to gain more intrinsic value to grow back to the ATH. I have no doubt they'll get there before the year is over, the team is superactive and the plans look insanely good

I never though before that sonM will came to this point that the trust of there investors and followers will came back since they supposed to be dumped before and price is been so badly dipped so hard but guess the devs are now working good and they make their coins now actively working and slowly keeping strong. Buy the dips, sill time to get in. Anything under 5000sat is a good price. Their competitor (GNT) is 5x marketcap of SNM today. I do believe SNM will overtake GNT in 2018.

Is there a thing that makes you very optimism about the future of sonm? But that will be very difficult in my opinion , until the dividend that already promised by the developers will be distributed to the sonm holders. That will take very long time to go to develop and distribute the first dividend.

I don't really think Bittrex is very much needed as it did before. It seems that Binance traders so far liked trading SONM. If the volume continues to go up, you can even buy at this rate.

It's hard to put a finger on exactly one thing, but I feel like SNM already has the whole package (dev team, marketing team, concept, roadmap) and stands out from most other projects that have just finished their ICO. The ICO had some issues, which caused some dumpage immediately afterwards, and they are now recovering. Thats why I see it as a good value at this current price, if their ICO went smooth they would already be over 5000sat.

While I'm still a little skeptical about the supercomputer projects, I do feel SONM stands out. I've been in their telegram for awhile now and they have a very active community and team of developers. They also have shown steady activity on github, so I'm pretty bullish on them in the long run as long as they can continue delivering their product. They could use a better marketing team, but applaud them on the fact that they've used most of their resources to actually develop their product. Advertising can come once they are happy enough with their product.

Compared to their competitors SONM seems to have the advantage in some areas and is currently in my opinion under priced despite its recent improvements.

True, in the future I'd even dare to say it could reach a 5 billion cap which would bring the value of the coin up to 10$. This would take a few years and industrial adoption, but it's definitely possible if they deliver what they promise

I bought SONM long ago. Also, charts are about as relevant as astrology is. SONM is trading at ICO price and was far below it for months. Sure, it might go down some more due to the hard fork, but that just means that I can buy back even cheaper.

SONM has been in active development since it started. Sure, Binance increased the volume and make a break-out easier, but that's literally the case for every single successful crypto out there.

It's unfortunate that the timing has seemingly delayed SONM's growth. With the rush back to BTC we may see stagnation in growth for a few months before it continues back to an ATH.

Yeah, I can't see it going below 10 cent anymore either, since the ICO price was higher. The lack of volume and the usual trading bot games in combination with FUD kept the price low early on. But those times are over with Binance.

I believe that SONM is by far the best cryptocurrency to invest in at this moment, so that is what I have done. I expect a natural growth on every update, release and partnership they make.

SONM already had a small explode last week but still it's not enough. It is at below the ICO price so definately need some time to grow. Team and project both looks good. This is the real Golem killer (if anything like that exists). Much better than Golem. However elastic also looks like a close compitator.

Yes, that's the one I had in mind. And I wouuldn't say it's by far the best. But it's definitely among the top seeds. There are a few other highly interesting projects that I know of, and I wouldn't be surprised if there were a few gems that I've missed out there too.

You don't seem to know what you are talking about. How can going back to ICO price be hype? Golem is not historically better either, since there is not enough data to even make that decision right now. We will see in January which project performed better in its first 6 months. And even that info is largely irrelevant because people buy blindly without understanding fundamentals.

Sometimes when we look at these big projects and compare the different teams and coins like SONM VS GOLEM Vs iEXEC Vs XEL, we forget that often we only have a roadmap that the team has posted on its web site .... all promises but almost always a few facts!
Among the many similar projects between them sometimes it is best to choose the one that is underestimated rather than the best.

In this case, but it is only my opinion, SONM is both the best of the projects but it is also very underestimated as compared to, for example, GOLEM.

As long as there is no clarity with the bitcoins forks, all the other coins will suffer, but after SONM can surely reach $ 1 easily and reach Golem's marketcap.

I find it hard to imagine that anybody who actually spent any time doing research would make such weird and strictly nonsensical claims as you can find on this forum... Maybe it's just account farmers spamming though.

yeah I notice that too, a lot of fake accounts no doubt, like someone posted electroneum would go to 20 dollars by the end of this year. People like that need their heads examined daily.

All altcoins are dropping because of the upcoming Bitcoin hard fork, which will hand out free BTC Gold to people. After that the Bitcoin money will flow back into alts and the rallies will begin. The same happened a few weeks back during the Bitcoin Cash fork.

Sonm can make great things on this ecosystem if they really work on their project. I didn't sell my SNM coins for 4k satoshi price, now it's 2k satoshi which is very bad.

Why not? SONM will most likely jump considerably in the next 3-5 months. And the real platform is coming out around August, which is not long after the next rally. And not too long after that "dividends" should start rolling out.

@Atomrigs Read sonms whitepaper, watch their speeches, read up on their partnerships, and come back and tell me it's a shitcoin.

To be fair, it still could be until they release a fully working version of their product. But it seems very very unlikely that they won't.

We can yes. That's why I usually try to find coins with projects that aren't too difficult to pull off. I make some exceptions, but they're rare and far more risky.

It's still not below. And it doesn't matter anyways, because alt coins will be moving back up after the fork completes. Same story as last fork.

It's still higher than it was two weeks ago. And again, the Bitcoin Gold fork pulled most of the altcoin money into Bitcoin. If you care so much about these short term movements learn to trade them. Otherwise just sit back and wait a few years after making investments. Investing has always been a game of patience and proper due diligence.

I'm amazed that people are expecting huge gains over such short timeframes. Instead of complaining about SONM at $0.1, people should be filling their bags and holding for a few months.

I just think the price of sonm token must be lower than 0.1 because this project doesn't make sense at all about how the project can reach the active income and in another side this try to give thge dividend to the investors in the future.  1500 satoshi you're welcome.

You need to do some proper research on the market sonm will operate, how much money it's worth now and how much it'll be worth in 5 years. Sonm has the potential to become the biggest player in terms of fog technology in the world, potentially working with intel, Hp, Microsoft, ... A company like that would never have tradeable shares (coins) under 10$

Yeah, people in this scene are quite weird. Most of them don't seem to have any understanding about real markets whatsoever but think they're experts because they've seen some coins rise sharply in the short amount of time they've been trading. I'm pretty sure the same thing happened during the dot com bubble. More profits for smart and patient investors I guess.

I think this is really only temporary when those so called "coins" will fail hardly and people starts using brains again .... but maybe not, who knows :D

It's definitely temporary. In the real world, that of rigorous regulation and utmost care from investors, 9 out of 10 startups end up failing. In crypto however, any and every donkey can start an ICO and collect money. So realistically speaking, it's likely that more than 90% of altcoin projects will fizzle out.

And I really doubt that the average person will become rich simply by lucky picks and flips.
Most people get too greedy and self-confident without understanding that they have simply gotten lucky and don't know what they are doing. And those people will end up losing most if not all of their money, just like lottery winners.

Of course, anyone who's careful and diligent will probably find one of the greatest opportunities of their lifetime in crypto. But that type of person is extremely rare (one out of hundreds).

I think that's exactly what'll happen. I believe in 5 years more than 70% of current existing coins will be long gone, while the remaining 30% (a lot of which will be coins that don't exist yet) will be up 5.000 - 10.000% of their current value.

I love how they actually analyze and understand all sides of the market. Something that the vast majority of altcoin projects completely fails to do.

Very excited about their new additions to the team! Of course I'd like to see sonm shoot up to over 1$ right now, but I'd like to put in an extra 1000$ by the end of november when I get my paycheck so hopefully prices stay low until then.

There were bonus rates for early investors, I don't remember if it was specifically called "pre-ICO" or how much they raised during that time though.

SONM team shot themselves in the foot with all their early promise with exchange listings and this cause the FUD to spread and people start believing it, I know froma start tht this will surely take time before investors start seeing real growth in price and this is very good for the space that the currections is happening early

They didn't shoot themselves at all. They're doing the best thing possible, which is focusing on development. FUD is completely irrelevant to real projects, because once the product arrives all the mindless zombies will come flocking back immediately.

Will it take time? Probably yes. But that's nothing new. The stock market has always transferred money from the impatient to the patient for as long as it has existed. And crypto is no different.

Who else thinks SONM > GNT?

Sonm uses fog cloud computing whilst Golem uses the grid, which means Golem's a lot less flexible and fast. Personally I think Sonm will soon absorb Golem, maybe in a year or 2.

I'm not completely sure anymore, but wasn't Golem going to appeal to a slightly different market than SONM anyways? If not then SONM would likely take the bigger slice of the market share pie though.
