The Github repo looks incomplete. There are no scripts to build a wallet.

There are also only 6 commits, the last on 7 Jan, each with minimal changes since the initial clone of the repo on 25th December 2016.

this coins has been taking over last week, the old dev didnt want it develop it anymore and didnt like the bct forum also ( to much fud ) .

so the new dev ( dont know yet who he/she is) has taken this coin over and is now busy with further developments. there will be a swap and an masternode function....

I downloaded the cwxt wallet, and made the cwxt.conf file put in appdata folder, but the wallet is still just sitting with 0 connections in my win 7 environment. Are you sure the conf file is named cwxt.conf? sometimes devs have different names for this file in their wallets. thanks for any help.  ???

Following the announcement of the development take-over
Our new developers will begin implementation of a MASTERNODE network. This masternode function will reward master-stakers an allocation of 30% of the block rewards. This means by possesing 100,000 CWXT at any given time in your wallet, you will earn 30% extra than what you earned holding the lower amount.
We felt this was a fantastic way to reward the large supporters of our network and an excellent encouragement towards stakers who are near the threshold to assetize more of their protfolio for higher short-term rewards.

Masternode Requirements-

The Github link should work, mac should be there also.. In the future , like all coins that add masternode , [color=red][b]there will be a coin swap. we are hoping to do a 2:1 that will cut the coin supply down[/b][/color] to an incredible 25 million:D. We did not bother developing a block explorer on CWXT as a community member offered to do it for us but had issues getting one to sync. nonetheless this is something we need to quickly address as it posses a great risk of centralization if we continue to engage a token swap out to the new network which is not something we want or will allow to happen.

Everything is going great with the new development team, we are on track and schedule so no alarm with us.We are structuring the code for our Ethereum based token that we will be utilizing going forward and will be posting our White paper in the coming days.

Originally we had planned to engage a token swap from CWXT token holders to the new ERC20 token CWX. It has been brought to our attention that the original developer of CWXT holds 78% of the coin supply http://cwxt.7dv.info:3001/address/CZeeNmYAZCWnSeRjtXQ5LXi6zzPKFLkscK The explorer displays the top 25 Balances possess 112% of the coins, which is impossible so its obviously modified by a third party, but centralization is still potentially at risk. Although these tokens have not moved,been added to and have not received a stake payout since January, and are likely dead coins,  Crypto - X can no longer proceed with the originally designed token swap of CWXT to the new chain as the risk for centralization is far too great and they pose a risk to the progression of the new protocol. This is a risk we cannot take and this is the reason we initially chose to change the CWXT Protocol, as we feared this may be a reality with CWXT distribution.

We would like to note, the user “CryptoworldX” on Yobit has no connection with our team , has never had connection with our team, and never will have any connection with our team or protocol. That being said, as a solution to this new discovery, we will be directing our community to sell their CWXT tokens, in order to secure their funds.. Shortly thereafter, we will host an ICO crowdsale for the new Ethereum token, CWX. By hosting an ICO, the development team will be able to secure the efficient funding as recommended by the community to properly grow the CWX protocol as required for a successful development. Furthermore,  this is the most secure way we can facilitate the Crypto - X project as decentralized as possible to continue working together. We will announce the dates in the coming days after releasing our white paper.

We will be setting the ICO price at a fixed rate. This will allow the community to purchase the equal amount of CWX tokens without risk of the value increasing or decreasing in the process. I see such an attitude as irresponsible I had a loss of 50% of the value to invest, and now I still have to buy the token at 340 Sat? I think you will not replace my loss, I wonder who sold even lower and that he is sleeping that when he wakes up he will come across a totally low price

Any competent dev could fork this coin by taking a snapshot of the database and remove all the UTXO that correspond to the large original developer address.

You can see that the coins in that address haven't moved since January.

Just fork the repo, take a snapshot, remove UTXOs that correspond to that address, announce to community that you need to download the new wallet at the new github repo, and go from there.

Pretty sure the original dev is long gone ... so why not do something like this?  There's 48M in that address and about 59M total, so a 3:1 split would be less than 4M coins.  Nice low supply.

At the very least, if the ERC-20 token goes through, let me swap my worthless CWXT for the even more worthless CWT on the ETH platform.

Today has been a very hectic day and we appreciate your patience as we compiled this blog post surrounding the events that are currently unfolding. Earlier today we made an announcement regarding our status going forward with CWX. Information has come to light that indicates that the original developer of CWXT may possess as much as 80% of the CWXT coin supply.

We have investigated the claims discovered and the block explorer is in indeed, faked. Although, it is the real CWXT network, the block explorer is displaying the coin supply as much higher than what is actually in circulation - meaning balances are not correct. We are now certain that the original dev does hold a very significant stake in CWXT. As many of you know, wallet addresses are generally anonymous, so although this specific address known to be owned by the original dev was discovered to possess a large balance - it is possible that he may have additional wallets aside from just the one we are currently aware of. We also have no way of determining if the coins are accessible or not.This poses a huge risk to the CWX protocol moving forward. As previously discussed, due to the risk of centralization, we will not be engaging in a token swap out. That being said, It is our priority to ensure that we do not leave our currently invested community members behind, we will continue to move forward in the most effective route possible. We understand our community members have fully supported our journey up to this point, which we are extremely grateful for. Our community currently hosts approx 275 members. We have taken a snapshot of the member list to ensure validity and to ensure that each member is accounted for. We recognize the importance of ensuring all our members are  properly acknowledged for their commitment to our development.

We will be posting a submission form on our website in the following day(s). This form will require you to submit your full name, telegram username, email address, ETH address, CWXT address, and the current amount of CWXT that you hold in your wallet. At that time, we will validate all the data received. Once validated, you will be required to hold your current CWXT until our ICO has been completed. Upon completion of our ICO, If you still hold your CWXT, you will awarded with 35,000 CWX to your ETH wallet balance at no charge. Due to the fact we are unable to verify the exact amount of CWXT held by each member of the community at the time of the occurrence, or how much CWXT users may have sold or bought at the time of discovery, we have chosen an amount of 35,000 CWX to be given fairly to each member that was in our telegram at the time the snapshot was taken.We feel this amount is a fair and equal way to ensure our current community members, supporters and investors are not damaged by the losses they may have incurred due to our new discovery. Right.  I'm not pointing fingers quite yet.  Maybe it's a language barrier, too.

But, let's summarize the events :

1) Devs announce a reboot / relaunch with a 3:1 token swap with masternodes.
2) People don't do their own research and miss the massive pre-mine and buy anyway, causing a price runup.
3) Some community members / devs notice the large 'address' of the original dev causing some concern for the swap.  (someone even points to the source code on github to show the massive premine)
4) Devs make an announcement to change to ERC-20 and will now hold an ICO.
5) Community members complain this isn't fair to those who bought on the promise of masternodes and lower coin supply.
6) I point out that you can easily take a snapshot of the current CWXT database, use various cryptographic schemes a la digital signatures to prove address balances that could be used for a swap to the new CWT ERC-20 token.  I also point out that the amount needed to fork the chain is probably much smaller and that we could probabilistically fork the original pre-mine away since it's clear that this amount is not being staked.
7) Devs like my idea but then dismiss it claiming that I say CWXT is ERC-20 and that the mechanism I proposed is not doable (to which I call BS and others are being polite and saying devs are new and don't understand).

8). Now we're here. 

I'm sure the community can convince the new team to do the right thing. ;)

I appreciate your effort to compensate for the loss of the community but there are many questions you need to answer ;

1. Many people do not even have CWXT WALLET For example, I have my tokens on yobit of 200k and on Nova of 80k.what should we do now? should we now download CWXT wallet and send all tokens there? If so, should we also download an ETH wallet to receive the new ETH base tokens?
or can it also be via yobit's CWXT WALLET then we only need an ETH wallet to receive new CWX tokens?

2.There are people who bought CWXT tokens for 200sats end for 50sats end There are also people who bought so cheap after the dump so how are you going to distinguish it all?because there are definitely people who saw the last message from you and they can now buyfor 30sats CWXT tokens to get new CWX tokens.then it is not fair for those who bought CWXT token so expensive??

3.There are also people who were not on TELEGRAM but have invested money in CWXT.would that be a problem for you?

Masternodes themselves, are not possible on ETH, so we are utilizing the exact same payout structuring and titling the smart contract concept as proof-of-hodl . Just like a masternode, if you hold the required amount - you are eligible for the extra staking(HODLing) rewards.This will proceed on the new eth chain. There will be no overall difference to the set up than it would have been on a seperate blockchain as originally planned with a swap out. We cannot engage our swap out as originally planned. We did not bother to develope a block explorer as we did not plan to proceed to utilize CWXT after the swap. A community member offered to assist to save us time and was having issues getting it to sync - due to the original dev remove portion of the source code. We had everything set up to engage a token swap up until the discovery of token centralization when a user was finally able to detect the problem with the explorer. the block explorer connie posted was manipulated.not believing it shows that you didn't have many coins.because if the original dev had 46 million coins,then there would only be left a little bit more than 11mil for the rest of us.all of us.and this is not possible because I know more than 3 guys that had and still have way more than 11 million coins in their desktop wallets.

I think maybe you have problem with 2 gangs, but who owns what? CWXT, CWX? Original development is not in development, now, so 2nd gang is the real development?

It is not clear to me, and people said it would be a swap on Novaexchange, but what is swapped? Who is in charge, not the original man, so it must be the other gang you do not like.

I can see original code is on Github.com, but where is new code?

How this was initially pitched was that the devs were going to do a 3:1 swap of the CWXT chain to masternodes.  Then, they linked to a (manipulated) block explorer and said they were not wanting to do a swap because the amount of coins in the original dev's address was too high.  

The new team has even gone so far as to state that they never planned on having actual masternodes, but that they would have masternode-like features on the Ethereum blockchain -- token ticker CWX.  This is contrary to numerous statements made in the past and even this paid for press-release : https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/crypto-world-x-masternodes-taking/

In order to save face, they want to collect your personal information in order to "give" everyone in the community 35000 CWX.  This is in addition to running their scammy ICO.  

Anyway, it's clear that they lack the simple understanding of the economic incentive structure as to why someone would actually run masternodes and be rewarded in the underlying coin to do so, i.e. providing network security and being compensated in the network's base currency.

What's not to understand?  Inflation for doing nothing for the network makes no sense economically.  On the other hand, inflation through rewards for providing services to increase the value of a network makes sense.

There's your Economics 101 lesson for the day folks.  I suggest you read Chapters 2, 4, and 5 and answer the first 10 questions in Chapters 3 and 7 for homework.  These topics will be on the final.  8)

Are there any news how CWXT holders can get ERC20 based CWX?
Whitepaper says that CWXT holders will get 5,500,000 CWX, but there is no any info about distribution mechanism.
