Is this the time to buy Bitcoin?

Although bitcon price is trading a little high and specially for short term investors, I think that they should wait tell the correction over. Because during correction we can expect that the price of bitcoin will come down a little and therefore we can get an opportunity trade bitcoin in a low price.

It's a decent time especially if the price takes a hike again. But that isn't for certain thats what will happen.

It's always a good time to buy Bitcoin. For long-term investors, there is no doubt about it. Short-term investors also can make a good profit as there will be another fork (Bitcoin Segwit2x) and it will cause the price to rise again.

Yes, unfortunately, now 5000 usd is a good price.  I would buy some at this point, then if it happens to fall any lower you can buy more.

There's a lot of people who say it's always a good time, but while I do agree with this statement, there are small aspects of it that can make buying BTC better. The people who bought past 6,000 currently did not buy at a good time. There will always be corrections and small drops and there will always be a better time to buy.

I think OP should wait out Bitcoin for a little bit and see where it goes. If it continues to hover around the 5,500-5,700 mark, it would be a good time to buy since the coin would be stable and ready to grow. If Bitcoin is starting to drop, obviously, op can wait out the drop to the max time and buy then.

It has always been a good time for buying bitcoins, but right now is the perfect moment because bitcoin is so quiet at the moment, just look at the charts and you will realize that the price is between $5500 and $5800, this is the perfect shoot to buy a bunch of bitcoins if you want to take more profit on the next fork.
The same will happen by november 11, the price will probably go up by a lot of money, so why dont you buy right now?

I think now is not the right time to buy bitcoin, we see that every day bitcoin values are rising, and we also see that forks will affect the bitcoin value. meaning there is no certainty. but my advice is better to buy another altcoin first. while waiting for a stable bitcoin value.

Everything depends on your current situation and goals.
If you want to get a fast profit then it might not be a good time because there is a price correction now that will last for some more time. If you need to make a long term investment (like 6+ month) then it doesn't really matter. If you are buying only 100$ worth of BTC then you can buy it whenever you want simply because you won't become rich even if bitcoin will x2 tomorrow.

I am convinced that the price of bitcoin will arrive sooner or later at $100,000, so any price below $10,000, as we currently are, is still a bargain price and we should take full advantage of it to accumulate as many bitcoins as possible before "The Mother of All Bumps" arrives.

Maybe specify what your goal is instead of vaguely asking if it is the right time to buy or not. If you're planning on holding long term then the right time to buy bitcoin is every time. Short term though, hard to say. It's hard to come to conclusions without extensive analysis.

I would say YES, simply because bitcoin will surely become high in value in the comings years. A lot of speculation and news about bitcoin and people are now interested to invest on it and i think this can be a factor that the price of btc will increase. Bitcoin is our future and you should get involved yourself here for your brighter future.

As the latest trading range over the last week or two has been in the $5k-$6200 range, if you're looking for a good short-term trade, try to buy near the $5k level.  If it goes much below $5k, dump it.  If it goes back up near $6k, either sell if things look weak, or hold if momentum looks it like it could carry it to a new ATH, or if it's in between, sell some around $6k and look for a new ATH with the rest.

If you're looking for a longer-term investment, I think it's hard to say where it's going next.  Obviously it's rather pricy right now, and would be a better buy below $5k.  I'm still not "satisfied" with the quick bounce off $3k after the China news with nothing close to a retest of that level.  A serious break of $5k on some bad news (or a segwit2x fork gone wrong), could lead to a retest of $3k.  Below $3k would be a much better buy, but thing will look scary if we get there.

I think that now the price is too fast  upswing. We need to wait for a rollback. And buy after correction 20-25%.

No it is not the right time to buy Bitcoin but it can be considered as a right time to sell them . As the current price is approximately 5700$  which is a very high price so it will not be a wise decision to buy some but you can sell your BTC's at this price inorder to get huge profits .If you want to buy some BTC's then you should wait for it's price to drop.A correction will be made which will bring down it's price to 4500-5000$ range approximately.That will be the right time for you to buy more .

We do not know exactly what will happen to bitcoin and whether the bitcoin price will go down again or even increase, so I think every moment can be said as the right time to buy bitcoin depends on the financial we have and the courage to invest. Yeah that is right, the only difference is that do you have enough money to buy now? And if you buy now, will it give you a good profit after one or a couple of years? People, if you think this is the time and you have guts to face the risks then just do buying. No one knows what will happen but you have lots of reasons to believe that bitcoin is good in terms of long term investments. If such a case that price decrease happened it was lowered than your buying rate then just let it idle as that was part of facing the risks. After all, soon it will breached the price you made your buys and you will get profit soon. #patience

there're a lot of people asking this question,
and to be honest everyday is the best time for us to buy it and of course it will only works for them who is holding it for a longrun.
but if we're looking at daily change i think we should see another decline in a few days because we're at the peak.
usually when the split happened a week later we should see another downward movement,
it will be a bit 'big' but it's just a second or we called it 'flash crash' and then slowly moving upward.

Bitcoin is an investment with no price limit it might be at high value at this time 5700$ but this is cheaper when 2018 is at 8000$ - 9000$ per bitcoin. It is funny how people react to corrections and dips. Waiting a little time can only cause more regret if not careful. We had an All Time High and now that we had it around $5400 yesterday, and about $5700 now, someone is still asking whether they should buy or not. The support is pretty strong and if you can get right now that we still have it a bit lower, then the best time to buy is now and not later or waiting for it to fall a bit.

Well their are still chances that the price would go up. Because their are new countries trying to adapt bitcoin in their own services or transactions. This year was the highest peak it ever reached and their will be bitcoin halving next year so probably their is no late nor early buying in bitcoin. WTF? How many more confirmations do people need to finally get themselves to actually buy Bitcoin? I believe it’s not really time to buy bitcoin at this movement. It’s straight forward calculation that if you invest at this high then you will have very less profits looking at the slow growth of bitcoin. I mean on the other ha d where altcoins can grow 100x at this point (looking at downside) so that seems better investment. Plus after fork who knows people might just sell bitcoin for alts.

So far, this has been true objectively.  But subjectively, this certainly has not always been the case.  If you have the willingness/ability to hold no matter what happens, then bitcoin investment has been profitable at any level below ~$5800, where we are right now.  However, if you've gotten caught up in a panic and dumped your holdings, the point at which you invested was obviously bad for you.  In any case, we also have to consider that there may come a time when bitcoin price will not recover.  I don't think we're there yet, but I think it’s still important to be careful where you buy in.

For me, it is not the best time to buy Bitcoin because the price is too high. Bitcoin price is expecting to exceed their record so you don't have  any idea if this will go higher or go back down again. Better to have patience to wait for the price will go down a bit then buy. But if you insist to buy now, that would be risky. You also need to read the news about the forecast about Bitcoin and make plans out of it.

Currently you can buy bitcoin, market already recovered from a correction and it may go to another high. Segwit2x may cause uncertainty, may price will either so high or price may drop huge. But still it is unpredictable.

The BitcoinGold fork is over and the price remained relatively undisturbed.
Now we're expecting much larger segwit2x hard fork in November.

If you are going to invest in bitcoin, make it long term. Bitcoin now, with its high price are not really good for short term. You can just earn small amounts if you do short on it. If you want short term investment, then you might as well try the altcoins markets, because its the best place to earn for short term, bitcoin is really a good hodl for a long haul. If you have fund and patience, this is the best time to buy bitcoin and hold until end of the year. Too much speculation about coins make the price action not predictable. If most people asking questions like this had known the number of people that have made mistakes such as theirs waiting for a dip and ended up buying even higher than they could have gotten it initially, then they will know that making a move, most especially when there is a correction is always the best time.

I consider $5600 as the standard price of bitcoin right now, less than this mean bitcoin get corrected or it's on "sell trend".
you should buy it whenever bitcoin drop less than $5500 if you are aiming for trading.

Lots of users here are keep on asking this same question over and over again. If you guys are confused whether the price is getting low or cheap enough to start for your investment, i guess you're wrong because bitcoin price is insanely getting expensive every time that there's a forks. But if you are an investor for a long run and not a day trader, then you can buy now and hold it for a long run.
