I've seen many and even too many ASIC algo coins recently and they all turned out to be scam. GPU based algos are usually more decent, though mostly they fail a lot, except GoByte. That costs too much

Explorer is done and up. Based on this, the original dev is still kicking and moving coins around. If a swap happens, I will want to limit them getting the new coins. To do this, I would swap outside of an exchange to prevent swap coins from the dev address. If this is something you want, please let me know. If you don't care, let me know that too. I will begin working another coin either way.

you could take a snapshot of the blockchain and ask everyone to sign the message using old LSC wallet. this way you know what address had what coins..

Ok, so I need some help. What does everyone prefer? Would you want a swap or keep the current coin and build on it? A swap could potentially get rid of the dirty dev that started it. If a swap is preferred, Would you want something quick, which means no MN possibly, or something later on? Would you be open to keeping LSC and just getting airdropped a new coin and keeping both? Let me know. I am not going anywhere either way, so don't worry about that part.

Edit: Another idea is to have 2 coins. Keep LSC and modify if needed and add a second coin. Holders of LSC would get 1  of the new coin for every 2 LSC. Thoughts?

I have the new coin mostly ready. I am running into getting the Windows wallet compiled. It runs good on Ubuntu, but not sure it should be released yet since most users, myself included, use Windows. Let me know your thoughts.

I have been struggling to get the new wallet compiled. Any requests for assistance from others have resulting in them asking for unreasonable amounts of money. I am continuing to work on this even during regular work hours. I apologize for the delay in this.

I built a new coin to be given to LSC holders. As I have been messing with building the Windows wallet, I hadn't paid attention to the block chain, as I shouldn't need to. I noticed today that the chain is on block 5500 when I had only mined 15 blocks. I built the explorer and noticed 1 address has now mined the other 5500 blocks for a total of 500k of the new coin. So, with this being done, I will need to rebuild a new chain with different ports and scrap the original project. I do apologize as this was not expected. Only 2 people knew of the coin and the seed node, so it will be easy to figure out what happened.

Ran into a snag and today was first day off in a week so spent some time with wife and kids. Back at it now.

I have finally finished the second coin that will be given to LSC holders. The windows and ubuntu gui wallets work fine and are syncing. A block explorer is in process, and will be done before posting the ANN.

Here are the details:

5 billion max supply

1 billion premine(20%) - This covers LSC holders and additional for drops and bounties once the new ANN is announced.

I will have 1 stake to make sure it is working fine in the amount of about 2 million. This full stake will be sent to CoinsMarkets as an airdrop once it is listed there.

75% annual stake

I will be giving the new coins out manually, not in an exchange, as I want to make sure that the original LSC dev does not get any. You will get 1 Klout Coin for every 2 LSC that you hold. You will have 48 hours from the date of this post to provide a screenshot of your current LSC holdings and the wallet address. This can be in this ANN, private messaged to me, Public in the Klout Discord (https://discord.gg/fTjBxYu) or in a private Discord message. I do have other means to receive messages, but you only have 48 hours and I will be busy for the next 18 hours.

I am very optimistic about your work. I also bought some LSC yesterday and I found it rising fast and then it fell off, but then it started to stabilize and it has risen by 5x! Now it is keeping a steady pace up. I learned from some places that you are about to announce some important news. It seems that some people have affirmed your work! This was dumped by the actual dev and community picked it up. Since then people have been working behind scenes to revive this coin. There is a saying in Crypto world, "Nothing dies here". Glad that people came forward and took interest to get something some around this coin which does have potential to rise and shine like others. However, like its also true that community is the strongest asset for any Crypto and I am glad to see that LSC community is growing each day.

I have not selected a new name or logo yet. I will post the submissions in a about 8 hours after I wake up. Coins markets will be back soon, cryptohub.online will list LSC in the coming days and I will work to get the fee to list on Stocks.exchange and yobit. Most of the exchanges I will work on once the new name and logo are selected and the new wallet made.

in google form, there is no extra field for email/bitcointalk user name, how do you know that who voted for who? for example in my case, can you tell us, for what name I voted for?

Originally it was just going to be the top 3 names and since only 3 names were submitted, I put those in there. I left the other field in the event another name wanted to be added. I have the names of the original 3 submissions.

Since this was a community takeover, I would like to get thoughts on adjusting the PoS percent lower.

Lower  to 90 percent for coming 50 k blocks   and  then every 100 k blocks   75 percent , 50  and finally 25 percent till the hardcap!

The last wallet update included the PoW ending at block 300k. If you do not have that update, I recommend getting the next one released.

Just a quick update on the logo contest. We did not feel a suitable logo was presented in the first comp. We selected a winner of the best logo and paid the bounty. We are now holding a second comp with the same bounty. If you choose to enter the contest, please create a logo using the same LSC colors and some form of lightbulb and/or flames. The winner received 250K LSC and 250K KLT.

I have updated the ANN, twitter and Discord with the new logo. The first wallet has been compiled, however, I have found 2 defects that do not affect the wallet, just cosmetic. I will get those fixed as soon as possible. In the mean time, I am testing the wallet for errors and making sure it syncs properly before committing it to Github.

If I wasn't serious, I wouldn't spend some much time helping a coin I had no invested interest in prior to joining the team. I do not get paid as I am not the original dev with a hefty premine. :P

Wallet is updated and live. Please update to the new wallet, version 2.0 located on first page of ANN. There are two ways you can do it, download and let it sync then copy your wallet file in and restart the wallet. Or, you can just backup your wallet, rename the lindassistercoin folder to luminous(and the conf file) and then run the wallet. The second option is instant and will continue where you left off.

on the Lsc explorer it shows 1798141249  lsc coins!  on the debug.. getinfo lsc wallet it shows  1794421492 lsc coins!

Why is there a difference in coin suplly? is it a bug on the explorer?

I am liking the logo. I bought a bunch of LSC when it first hit exchanges months ago, and just been staking em for a few months. Blockchain works well and I didn't notice any bugs in the wallet. Happy to see the POW removed.

Hello Dev! I have an old version of the wallet but it works perfectly, what do I need to do to keep my wallet updated? just download a new one and everything?

I have found the best way to update is to copy the %appdata% folder for lindassistercoin to luminous and start the new wallet. Everything should stay synced and funds there.

Yes, this keeps a backup of your wallet and takes the entire blockchain too. No need to resync. :)

hi, how do you want the swap? just like  lsc , klt  type..!  showing how much do you have lsc ( taking a snapshot and send to you)  and manually  deposit  the same amount to the new wallet/ chain by you. 

I would make the old chain go away so would have old LSC sent to me or exchange somewhere and you get equal in return. This would last longer than KLT swap as this would be a complete swap. Also, if you have a desktop wallet, leave it running and unlocked for staking as the chain is stuck.

Is it possible to mine/stake  100-150 million lsc extra  and compensate to the people that has lost lsc on coinsmarket? ofcourse they have to show some sort of proof  that they have actually lost lsc on CM. i believe 95 percent lsc is on wallet .  if a swap comes in a exchange or / sent to you it should  in 1 day time!
