No official NEX Ann thread. I think NEX didn’t need this. The 25.000 lottery places will be occupied in any case. It’s one of the biggest NEO projects.

Now I like the sound of this DEX as I've been a long term holder of NEO since it's Antshares days. Let's hope this DEX works better than most of the efforts that are out there.

I'm very upset. We were 6 people, we had applied and thought to win at least 1 account.  I didn't win the lottery NEX. My friends didn't win...

I was upset.. I like this project very much, but I could not get on the white list. I am sure that investors will receive 200-400% of net profit.

I won the lottery, but got rejected in the KYC. Absolutely no explanation why. They dont ask for any documents , just name, country, amount you want to invest, date of birth. Im not in the US or China or any of the usual KYC restricted countries.

Really great projects don't need a lot of fake hype around them, i already have seen a lot of examples when project with 1k people in telegram and 3 pages here reached their hard caps in only a couple of hours or even 10-20 minutes.

I think it doesn't matter, a lot of people want to participate in their ICO and ready to do that in any moment, later or earlier, don't care, in any case it will be a good investment opportunity.

For me, the main thing that I would make a profit. I want 5x-10x. The main thing that would not be a loss.

I hope when the token sale starts they won't take our money only to say at a much later date that "Sorry you KYC details were not accepted", it has happened before and it means your investment has been a free loan to those conducting the ICO, not only that but your investment coin could have dropped in price, it's lose-lose situation.

It is hard to predict but i think this token can do that on popular exchange with big volumes and if marketing steps will not be failed. But in any case even x2 would be good.

What happened to ICO it seems this has been delayed even I was interested to contribute in it but cancelled due to drop of price of ETH my average buy is around $834 and they are offering this token at fix price of $1 that is why I will wait until it come on exchange.

Token has a fixed price of 1$ per but that will be paid in crypto taking into account average price of past few days leading up to the ICO day. So you can just load up on NEO now if you anticipate prices to go higher before the ICO or buy right before the ICO for an average 1:1 buy in (NEO/USD values).

Who knows, may be this your decision will save your money, but also it may be x10 of ico price on exchanges...who knows)

I have a question to winners of NEX lottery. How much is your individual cap?
My familiar investor said that NEX approved 9k$ individual cap for him.

Individual cap for the winners of the first round is 1k$
For those winners who applied for the second round and passed the KYC, an additional cap is set in 9k$
So they can contribute 1k$ + 9k$ = 10k$

hmm... that is what i expected for... i planed to invest in them up to 10k but have not been chosen and i'm disapointed coz they are really good.

I navigated social media channels and main website where all available information is about on going lotteries. I think we will see crowdsale starting in May most probably.

It is a awesome option that has broke all the limitations and widen the road to check in the sports industry.

Don't listen to the FUD. NEO is a great coin with a great future ahead. It has had some ups and downs but this is to be expected in the cryptocurrency world, and NEO has weathered the storms a lot better than most.
Stock up on just a few NEO, add little to your portfolio, you won't be disappointed.

I heard that the KYC procedure was extended in the second phase. Is that true? And what is the reason for such changes? very few people decided to participate in the second stage?

I think that the KYC process puts a lot off investing in ICO's as it's can be perceived as a lot of hassle to collect all the information required and to upload it only to find you've done it wrong and have to do it all over again, or are rejected because of a technicality or error in your application. It's much easier just to buy coins on an exchange that does not request KYC information.

Most ICO don't need a KYC, it's just the issuer covering there behinds in case the regulators come complaining about the ICO.

A cool idea, I think that you will succeed in your project. Do you already have a bounty or not?

Yes. Unfortunately, we have to wait a few months. But I'm sure we'll make a big profit. So we need more patience.

Unfortunately I did not make it in the lottery. For me it was one of the top 5 ICOs in 2018. At least I managed to participate in Switcheo (another NEO based DEX) and quite happy for it!  :)

A few months is very soon, given that the work has been going on for a long time. It takes several years to release a good product.

Even though decentralized exchange is a new space, there are already many projects working on the same area. As NEX eventually expands to include Ethereum-based tokens, it would compete with all other decentralized exchanges which will most likely generate a significant amount of trading volume by then.

I will consider this coin and will join the ICO launching. this project needs a trust escrow to keep funds or eth contract. Look forward to beginning!

What eth contract you are talking about ?) This is not ether ICO. It's Decentralized exchange on NEO blockchain  ;D You can invest only NEO ( maybe GAS also i don't know ).

Nice article, it's a pity this ICO was really aimed at those with deep pockets, and a KYC for an ICO seemed a bit OTT, and 20% for founders is a lot, and the "slow release" over 2 years is not that slow.

It's been over a month since the lottery ended. But there is no information from the team about the token sale. It's disturbing.

They said that everything is ready on the technical side, and they are simply waiting on approval from the FMA because NEX is security token. The FMA does not provide a exactly timeline on the approval process. Token sale will happen one week after the approval. Now, we can only wait and hope that the FMA will finish soon

I like that NEX payment service provides third-party intellectual contracts for NEO to send and receive global assets such as NEO and GAS as part of their calculations

With NEO now recovering since the past weeks' slight downturn, now would be a good time to buy more NEO and/or GAS, what with more projects like NEX using them.

Similar projects already exist, but they are still only in theory. The launch of such a platform with the possibility of cross-exchange token has good prospects. Adding the opportunity to purchase crypto for fiat will significantly expand the range of platform users..success will not be long in coming anyway.

The date for the presale to kick in is judgement day. The reason for the delay is shift in angular movement of earths polar axis. This exchange is very much expected by the market and it's fair - supporting NEP5 tokens is extremely necessary, it all can be quickly become liquid.

We now have decentralized trading platforms for Etherum such as Idex, Etherdelta; Neo decentralized trading platform like Switcheo. But all are so bad, the speed of trading is so slow that the trader leaves and they become more loyal to the centraliza exchange . We are looking forward to NEX's dramatic shift to a slightly optimistic view of decentralized trading platforms.

I am very much annoyed with that. that there is no ICO start date. I bought NEO in may to invest in NEX, but for 2 months the price of NEO fell 2 times!

The site constantly says that sales will begin this month. so it was in may, June, July. I don't understand why the team is postponing the start of the token sale.

This short-term hype is really not so important. I think most of the investors i.e. the quality hypers will be investing long-term (including me), also because of "locking up" coins to receive the passive income.

No there won't be any bounty for sure. This guys are making fair ICO with big support of community without any bounties. There can be some revard programms for platform testers or for bug  search. You need to w8 for announcements

Exactly. We will have to wait until the coin hits the exchanges. The funny thing is that the first exchange the NEX coin will be listed might just be NEX exchange itself because, as I already said, the development of the exchange is independent from ICO, thus they are developing the exchange at the right moment.

The exchange doesn't need the ICO to be launched, but we are certain the sale will happen before. Our plans and road map have always been for opening the exchange for the public at the end of Q3, we are working hard to achieve that deadline. Behind the scenes we are developing what we said we would deliver, we are not a all hype and no product project - that is why we are more silent than usual ICOs, we are growing (currently 18 employees, we want to triple) and we understand the expectation of our community.

I can't reply that, but I can explain the process. When we made our consultantion we put forward all the planning of products and developments planned and what licenses each would need, in some jurisdictions. It is not a simple "can I do this ICO ?", so we already have green light on several of those items and revised some others. For the public offer what we are waiting is the return of the documentation and an acknowledgement that the process is over, so we have a solid set of legal backing that we can raise general capital with.

Maybe regulation was a bit underestimated then? If u get approval how else will regulation slow down growth... It is just one of many hurdles I assume.

Some jurisdictions are faster than others to go through the process, where going 100% in-house will be unpractical we will look at other alternatives to allow us to operate.

In my opinion, the concept of the project is too common which is providing a high volume crypto payment and trading platform. There are already so many well-established platforms available and this project according to me does not has anything new to offer. Overall the project does not offer anything new which is a downside and if I had to decide to invest in this project, I wouldn't.

Hopefully they will peg NEO to a realistic price, like $50, rather than the price it is now which is the lowest its been in a year. The team mostly consists of City of Zion team. They were pretty active in NEO community and quite good. If I am not mistaken Ethan Fast created a now very used NEO wallet for example.

The company issuing tokens is based in Lichtenstein (capital), which is right on the border of Switzerland. I now forgot the name of the company (and I am too lazy to check it out). They have received the security licence in Lichtenstein, meaning the NEX tokens will be actual lawfully rightful security which will be paying dividends to token holders from profits of exchange.

I have also checked that the capital of the company based in Lichtenstein is 50.000 CHF. I am not certain, but I would assume that this is the minimum capital you need in Lichtenstein to create a limited company. Not sure, though.

Most "profitable" contribution is contributing 53 NEO and 2.931 gas. This amounts to 999,99 NEX.

Contributing is actually quite easy. The site and the chrome extension are both user friendly and very intuitive. And make sure to read terms and condition - it's not that long. Read it to understand what NEX security actually is: we are not the owners or have any governance. But dividends from exchange profits will be divided among holders. YEp but in any case everybody are buying with the same price. This token will be tradable on NEO pairs and it's price will be compared to NEO anyway.

The only difference is that the hardcap is essentially now higher and will at the end be 32-35M instead of 25M. We are paying higher price per token than USD, but the market will reflect that. If we take for example that the market spike will be x5 when NEX hits exchange, the price will be 6,5 USD instead of 5 USD (1USD nominal price of the NEX x 5).

So, pay more. The ROI shouldn't be affected by it (in theory).

Thats a good point and something to take into consideration. On the other side ICO's have taken a battering this year so we can't be sure that the price increase will be included in NEX's price when it hits the exchange.

Unlike many other ICOs, NEX token price will not be dependent on NEO value.  The baseline value of NEX is derived from usage of the platform via exchange, payments, and banking (future). I am so pissed to Nex because we have been waiting too much for the ICO but they choose to announce it during the market crash. That time Neo was 17-18$. But it pumped immediately to 21$ after that.
But Nex fixed Neo price to about 18$ as far as I remember.
And they lost the advantage of being first in the market to switcheo.
Switcheo has a working product but we did not see nex's yet.

For me the exchange business is now very competitive space, NEX is not too late to the market but don't know how it want to share the market with the likes of Binance and co and if the trading volume is low I don't know how the passive income sale speech is going to be rewarding IMO

The passive income concept is of course relevant only with trading volume.
The exchange business is indeed quite competitive. However not so much competitive on decentralised exchanges market. And all the exchanges (even centralised) have room to improve as they are quite bad imo. Binance is not eternal. Actually I believe it will be shut down relatively quickly (in few years of course). When regulator hits, all shity exchanges (which Binance is) will be shut down. NEX will have a huge advantage there at it is a security (amongst other reasons).

Looking forward to hearing about an exchange listing. Hopefully the market is picking up a bit so they could come out at a favourable time.

You cannot buy NEX anywhere atm. I think if you scroll up, somebody mentioned one small exchange that listed it, but probably low volume. OTC is another option, but it's really risky and I would recommend NOT to do an OTC transactions as there are a lot of scams there.

Well that forum is relatively active. The team is answering basically all the questions and posting updates. Especially, Fabio and Ethen. Great guys, they are.

I'm very happy about how well Nash is performing price wise. Considering how most of the recent ICO's have completely dumped having Nash in profit bodes very well for the future.

"Price wise"? As the NEX is not listed anywhere, how do you see the prices? You mean the unofficial OTC desks? I am not sure that these are the relevant information on the price. (It actually might be even higher when it will able to "officially" trade.)

I can't register, it only looks white, again and again. Does Nash prohibit registrations using IP from certain countries?

Instead of holding on exchanges it is better to hold on the wallet because we have seen many exchanges at being hacked. Is there any specialised wallets to store the NEX in the wallets because it will be a safe side for us, instead of holding them on exchanges.

I have just signed in at Nesh IO and  there is sad - "To protect against fraud, only tickets activated by accounts with a portfolio balance of at least $25 at the time of the draw will count as valid." How are you going to benefit from the tokenonomics if you send it to a wallet? For example you need to hold bnb on the exchange to benefit from the trading fees or am I wrong?

Several days ago the total supply of NEX was approx. 50,000,000 and the price of the coin was about $1.55 but today there is a total supply of NEX that amounts to 103,543,862 and the coin is going up to $1.72

If you add 50,000,000 NEX to the total supply overnight, it should take down the price of the coin considerably.

How the supply of this coin has doubled in the market and once they increase the supply how can the coin stay at that price, maybe we might see some huge dumps in the market with the double supply. The website above has not updated the total supply yet. You can see the total supply that was available just a couple of days ago and compare it with the total supply given on coinmarketcap  dot com.  You can see proof that the total supply doubled over night.

I got this issue cleared up. A friend of mine is in contact with a person who goes by the name of Crypto Lark and here is the discussion they had about the issue of coinmarketcap showing over 100,000,000 total supply of NEX.

Nash began with 20 million coins (sold at ICO) and now the coins in circulation almost doubled 36 million! No word about that from the team. Le'ts not forget this project is in development for 2 years, yet they have nothing to show. The CEO is acting arrogantly and makes huge promises that he can't live up to. He said that they are x100 better than binance and nash will crush them. Binance dex is live for 3 months and has 8m daily volume, whereas nash is still in Alpha, no ETA for exchange launch, huge delays. The team is just doing presentations around the world and hyping. I guess they need time to milk the investors, they must be busy dumping 18m tokens, not to mention they received 20 million dollars from the ICO. Also, there is no word about the "licenses". To me this project is turning into exit scam, too many red flags to ignore.

I don't think that's a FUD. How can you say that you are 100x better than Binance if you don't have working exchange yet?
Performance first before claiming that you are the best in the pack.
Otherwise, such claim is empty and has no real basis at all.

It means the upcoming dump is not far. Bag holders are busy with a shilling, they will wake up if the devs broke given promises.

Looks like misunderstanding, their job is not near the what Binance did in a couple of years, the exchange team made a comeback after the last hacking event. The CEO of the project doesn't have enough experience in the crypt industry IMO if he is so confident about their roadmap. That "information" is 100% completely false. Their token distribution has always been public/honest and the founders tokens are locked for 2 years with a slow release. 50 Million NEX is the total supply and the circulating supply is about 28,000,000 which is decreasing because the platform is live and people are now staking their NEX for dividends which requires them to be locked out of circulation. Figures listed on CMC are incorrect and are based on neotracker which everyone knows has issues, correct information can be found on CoinGecko. CMC has already been contacted by many people to fix the incorrect information but they still haven't for whatever reasons. Also Nash isn't "built on a garbage chain" it's independent of any single blockchain with their off-chain matching engine. Only the token is a nep-5 but it can be switched to any chain if need be.

NEX is the first registered security token, it is about as legit as it gets. The product is live as an mvp and people are using it to trade their crypto cross-chain while always having control of their private keys. The only true thing is that launch was delayed which can be expected with any project but they have always delivered and the exchange has been live since September 1st. It's amazing people are allowed to post such outright garbage and lies about a project here. It kinda does, it means it's an actual financial security that is backed by something tangible like the assets, profits, or revenue of the company, and which offer legal rights such as revenue distribution. In the case of NEX token it means that holders of the token can legally expect their share of up to 75% of exchange revenue. NEX token is subject to laws that govern securities, and protect investors on some level. The company can still fail and investors lose their money, but the founders can't just scam people outright, not unless they want to go to jail. With a utility token investors don't have any rights and project founders don't have any legal obligations, they can scam any second and do so all the time without punishment.

Decentralized exchanges and blocked countries do not go into the same sentence. The claim of being DEX, similar to Binance DEX, is fraudulent at best.

Binance "Dex" can seize your funds. That can't be done with Nash. Nash can only block people from trading. I'd prefer a model like Nash over Binance "dex", with Nash you always have your private keys and always control your crypto. Being non-custodial is what matters most.

Why would anyone trade on this garbage is beyond me. $80 is generous. Market cap metric is worthless and means nothing.

Unfortunately, my country does not have the ability to put tokens on passive earnings. And this is very unfair. Even Binance allows us to participate in IEO.

I will hold. After a recent revision I think it has great potential. The exchange and app are slick as any I've ever seen. Have just bought more as I believe the token is undervalued. They just gotta work on volume but it will come with such a good environment.
