What do you have to do with those countries if your country is not forbidding it? Are you not going to buy Bitcoins from your own country, but travel to one of those countries to buy them? If that is what you intend to do, then you obviously will have to wait a long time (or maybe forever), otherwise, that should not be your concern at all if your country allows trading it.
No one can ever know if a country is ever going to make Bitcoin legal or illegal. It totally depends on the thoughts of the authorities of that country, and those thoughts are never public unless they decide to implement them.

It is true that the value of cryptocurrency capitalization increases over time. But the fluctuation is very unpredictable because no one country controls this digital currency. Do not let your inexpensive offer to invest in cryptocurrency. Use it for easy payment or as your side income.

It will take a longer time for all the country in the world to accept or legalize Bitcoin and crypto currency in general because not every country has reach the same technological advancement in the world and not only that alone. The advantages of crypto currency in some advance country could be a disadvantage to the less developed country. Even if Bitcoin and crypto currency in general is not accepted in your country or region doesn't mean you cannot buy Bitcoin or any of the crypto currency via local Bitcoin exchange or your smart card.

Already some countries made bitcoin as Ilegal in their trading if you caught for using or trading bitcoin then you will be jailed. But many countries not made announcement yet whether it is legal or illegal but some countries are already legalized and implemented taxes for bitcoin usage. So it is their own decision other countries can't to anything with their decision so you need to research about crypto currency in your country before investing on crypto currencies.

I think, and hope, most countries will accept cryptos and will regulate them but all of them? Not at all. Some of them will forbid them. If all western countries legalize them, Muslim countries (for example) won’t. Cryptos legalized all ever the world won’t happen in my lifetime.

I think it will always depend on the country itself. Some may allow it's usage or not or may remain undefined. In some instances, it was declared legal but then due to regulatory measurement and other risks, the have declared it illegal in some countries.
But there is nothing wrong if we would hope for it to happen right ? I think if this will happen, it will be a greater good for everyone.

Is hard and long process to make all the countries accept cryptocurrency as legal. Some countries still not believe about cryptocurrency.
They afraid in cryptocurrency people can do illegal transactions, like buy drugs, weapons etc. So for the safety reason they banned cryptocurrency, until they can control cryptocurrency. For some country allow cryptocurrency, they accept the technology inside cryptocurrency to improve their business and services.

Are you talking about all? I barely think that any country will take a step towards making cryptocurrency legal except for japan which portrays itself as a birthplace to btc. Governments get no advantage in making cryptocurrency legal. Infact it leads to increase in unaccounted economy in their very own country. This will make them lose control quite a bit. So its hard to say that any country will strive to make crypto a legal tender.

But I hope it will be legalized in all legally developed countries,in another situation there will be legal-economic problems and they don't need it.thats my opinion and I think they will not have enaugh legal grounds to not legalise it,Developed countries were forced to recognize it for people and for their property rights and countries that allow bitcoin or another pseudo anonymous cryptocurrencies will be trend for another developed countries, after they  create liberal and rightful regulations.

No way all counties make bitcoin legal. A state exists by taxing citizens, weak currency may be partially replaced by bitcoin, look what happened in Venezuela and Zimbabve. Authorities lose control over citizen's funds therefore over whole situation there. Only modern and strong economy may tolerate bitcoin

It seems to me that bitcoin will never be legal. The government will take taxes from transactions on the exchange for Fiat. But they will never allow the use of bitcoins as a legal means of payment in stores. If bitcoin is banned in your country, you must exchange it in another country or in illegal exchangers.

First get some knowledge about cryptocurrency. This forum is quite enough to get huge knowledge about all the crypto currency.
You have to check some basic things before investing in cryptocurrency. First you have to check cryptocurrency is legal, if it's legal. Don't omit to inverse in cryptocurrency.
Second one is you investing money. How much you want to inverse in cryptocurrency.
Last one is whether you are investing for short term or long term. If it's Short term ,choose the bitcoin .
If it's long term means, you have lot of options. You can choose any altcoin to inverse your money.

It will take time before the government of all countries decided to legalize crypto or not, crypto is a new and developing technology so each of the country still learn deeply about this and how it will affect their country in the future and each of the government got its own conclusion, so we can only wait and hopefully the media not spreading another FUD and misleading news

Bitcoin is a way to allow people to transfer value in a peer-to-peer fashion without having to trust, to depend on and to pay middlemen like banks and financial services companies. The transactions are absolutely not untraceable; and Bitcoin works through a decentralized, tamper-proof public ledger. Any transaction from the beginning of the system can be inspected, and funds movements between addresses can always be traced as accurately and as far as needed, by anyone... like other other cryto currency as well, this is one of the reason why it become legal For some countries, even to the wealthiest country.. if they look beyond the crypto currency, they will find out.. that it safe for them to do so.. maybe, i guess they will sooner or later legalized it.. this is my opinion..

No and will never happen. Legality of cryptocurrency is dependent on government officials on that country and they also rely on the their citizens approval or acceptance. It’s like marijuana, we have different laws about it and many nations still debating if this is good or bad to they’re people. Doubts are normal but taking a risk is the only way to profit, so what you should do to profit is on yourself.

There are a lot of risk when you step foot in cryptocurrency, one of them are those countries who suddenly ban crypto trading. Although there's still a lot of countries who accepts or recognize Bitcoin as a form of currency, there were also who go against it. I knew a country that banned crypto trading, BUT there are people who still managed to trade regardless of the law implemented against cryptocurrency in their country. They're just being too careful to do transactions not to get caught by the government authority, because once youre caught, guess what? you'll find yourself inside the jail.
I'm confused if youre afraid that your country might have a threat to ban crypto or youre afraid of banning crypto from different countries that might affect the price of BTC and other coins?

Legality of Bitcoin will depend upon the country's policies and some are due to patriotism so therefore it will be impossible for all countries to be united to legalize Bitcoin. If you are belong to the country that make Bitcoin a legal then well you are wasting the opportunity to earn and gain from this investment in which lot of people are now enjoying the benefits of earning big in which many have become rich right now. I just hope that it will be not too late for you for not getting on board earlier because the price of Bitcoin is now slowly rising up.

It’s still quite possible. In fact, some other governments  are now starting to declare it legal to trade cryptocurrencies within their country. Others have implicated regulations on the trading platforms and exchanges but nonetheless, it is considered legal to trade. For those who already declared a ban, it’s still possible for them to declare the legality of trading however it is not very likely especially for countries with very strict governments like China and Russia. Islamic countries are also not so likely to lift their ban.

I don't understand why people expect their governments to step up. You never thought about what you need to demand from the government to recognize bitcoin. If that's what you want. But I still think the bitcoin community should distance itself from the government. The goal of creating bitcoin was decentralized. We must unite and build our own network beyond the control of all governments.

The legal status of bitcoin varies substantially from country to country and is still undefined or changing in many of them.[1] Whereas the majority of countries do not make the usage of bitcoin itself illegal, its status as money (or a commodity) varies, with differing regulatory implications. While some countries have explicitly allowed its use and trade, others have banned or restricted it. Likewise, various government agencies, departments, and courts have classified bitcoins differently. While this article provides the legal status of bitcoin, regulations and bans that apply to this cryptocurrency likely extend to similar systems as well.

Absolutely yes, because there is a widespread financial crisis in many countries, and after the existence of cryptocurrencies era, there are many problems, the most important trouble which is the increase in the number of users (digital currencies).
On the other hand, it is certain that in the near future, all countries will recognize cryptocurrencies.

Yeah, its not easy to legalize cryptocurrency specially with the government who are not open into this kind of technology and those big companies like banks who are still not supporting this kind of innovation. I think this can only happen if one government are trying to fully study cryptocurrency, they will realize how good this thing is.

People are too stupid to realize that they are being used as a cash cow slave by their government. Most simple minded people here allocate more time to think about potential fiat profits, than financial freedom.

They are also too much dependent on centralized exchanges to fulfill their needs, which I honestly don't think will ever change. We just have to accept that not everyone cares about decentralization and financial freedom.

I am happy that Bitcoin allows me to enjoy the financial freedom that I deserve to have, and from there focus on my own journey to avoid centralization. What others are doing in that aspect doesn't really interest me.

You can't force people to appreciate something they don't care about.

It really depends on the stand-point of a country with regards to cryptocurrency in general. Most countries in Asia, like Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines see bitcoin as something that is beneficial to the economy as it provides alternative income to the public and makes the economy relatively liquid. Considering that Japan has taken measures into implementing such developments with bitcoin, maybe in the future some countries would embrace cryptocurrency as an alternative payment to some services/products.

You need to also understand on why countries prohibit the use of such cryptocurrency in the first place. Due to its volatile and decentralised nature, the government of some countries in Asia warn individuals into investing their money as it may turn negatively in the future. Also, the lack of government regulation causes doubt among the government and being tax-free means that the government has really no control over it.

Currently we may see a tend of crypto legalization, some states in the USA officially legalized bitcoin payments. This is very positive and I think it will affect on other countries decision about crypto, but I doubt that bitcoin will be legalized worldwide. I think the 100% chance is that it won't. Tell me what is the government's interest in legalizing cryptocurrency? Many users think that taxes attract governments. But it is not. For many countries legalizing bitcoin will be a problem that the capital leaves their country. There are other reasons. For example, the stability of the banking system. I think it would be more convenient for governments to leave it as it is.

There  will come a time that they cannot deny it and they have to sit down and tacle this issue and maybe come out with a solution that will benefit both the government and people.   This I pray will happen.

Wish it should happen. But obviously this would take some time in years. When crypto currencies are adapted, certainly there is going to be a great change in the country's economy. Many lives would benefit themselves earning and living with a decent lifestyle. It would certainly reduce the pain of government in providing employment to its citizens as well. Hope crypto currencies soon should be accepted as legal currency all over the world.

For example, my country is neutral. People in here still do not know about the existence of bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency. Maybe that is why my government still has not taken actions yet.

You are right we can't predict now that all countries will accept bitcoin in their country but I hope most of the countries will accepti it since the powerful and developed countries like USA already accepted crypto  currencies and made taxation system for it so most of the countries will follow them in my opinion.

Yes there are chances that they will make it legal. Even those who have officially stated it to be illegal will later chip in some regulations to make it legal somehow. I say this because the world is highly controlled by the superpower nations, and currently only China has stated emphatically that they want to ban some crypto, but others are thinking of regulations

I don't believe it to happen. Political leaders never want that economic power to get out of their hands. So I don't think politicians want BTC to have legal status. But Tech. revolution is hard to stop, therefore BTC is unstoppable. Doesn't matter what think about it.

All states will sooner or later consider the issue of legalization of the crypto currency. Not to notice its circulation on their territory, they can not, especially since crypto-currency, and especially bitcoin, has a very high cost compared to any national money. However, each state will have its own decision on this issue. We can already see that these decisions are diverse, from full acceptance, as in Japan, to a complete ban, as in Zimbabwe. Each state must go its own way in this matter and this way will be long. What can you do, financial issues do not tolerate hasty decisions.

It is not an overnight phenomenon of course. Making cryptocurrencies legal in all countries is still a hope for many of the people here in the community. But yes it is not going to happen very soon. This is because governments all over the world are not willing to take up this task. But one more thing is for sure if not all, most of the countries are going to take up this process of legalizing the bitcoin very soon.

But even if now where bitcoin is not legalized in most of the places, it is being used there by the people irrespective of the fact that governments don't recognize it as a legal tender.

We cannot force them to join but the opportunity here is being wasted in which Bitcoin is proven to change lives. It will be  there loss not ours.

I do not think that someday all countries of the world will legalize the crypto currency. Such a decision requires a unified vision of this issue. And as we know, the governments of different countries treat the phenomenon of digital money differently. Some countries want to control the cryptosphere, some want to allow it to develop autonomously. Depending on these desires, a decision will be made about legalization.

I think you're wrong. All countries are negative about bitcoin. Governments comment differently on this issue. But we do not see any state in which bitcoin has complete freedom. Even in Japan, there are some limitations. But Japan is a separate issue. It has always been the engine of the global digital industry.

This is the state of every country. How the population economy of a country is heavily bonded with Bitcoin, and the other side of the country's economy feels threatened.
Surely it will lead to taxes, and may be forced to legalize sometime if that happens, the government can only see if a large number of transactions with bitcoin and the state does not earn from it.

Why it's taking a long time for the authorities to accept it.  I understand that if crypto currencies gets in,  the local fiats will ruin itself in the market. Th8s is the main reason. But leaders have to look at other side.  The amount of profits and gains are very high with crypto than fiats. Their economy will have good growth. This should be realized.

Some countries had a strong stance against bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies and they no plans to allow in their own territory in the near future. Other nations gave in but imposed regulation on cryptocurrency exchanges and taxation on bitcoin transactions. There are also countries that banned bitcoin but they created their own cryptocurrency. With developments, I think it is impossible for the bitcoin to become legal in all the countries in the next several years.

I think the chance is very small. Cryptocurrency is like a gambling that you should always take the risk, profit is big but it can ruin your budget system if the project where you are in will not succeed or it is a scam. And look many scam ICO nowadays and the more that they are existing the more the victims will grow also in number. So if this is happening there will always a country that will never accept cryptocurrency but maybe they will create their own but has a big different than what we have today.

That's right government are really protecting its people from investing on this high risk market, so I think its hard for cryptocurrency to be recognize as legal currency in all country. Of course, you are right most of the people considering a high volatile market but there are many people who make the profit on Bitcoin investment. Government will always think about the negative side because there is no government involvement when it comes Bitcoin buying and selling. This makes them not comfortable with bitcoin.

It all depends on how countries see cryptocurrency. Some countries who specializes in technology like Japan see cryptocurrency as a good innovation which will help people a lot in the future. That is the reason why they started adapting cryptocurrency and they were able to catch-up in just a small span of time. Yeah and however most of the country's governments really insist on assessing it and considering it's influence on the country and its citizens over time. If indeed it is more likely to be more useful or help the progress of the country, it will certainly focusing to make it legal, and vice versa. Recognize the legal currency in the territory of your country, this is a private matter of each state. Given that the attitude of states to the crypto currency is very different, it is difficult to say whether all states recognize the Crypto currency. Crypto currency is a fairly new and revolutionary type of financial relations and therefore even the process of its recognition or non-recognition will take a very long time.

There could be a very good sense in your position. That could be possible in the long run despite this early resistance. Back to memory lane when computer was newly introduced, some countries never saw anything good on it or meaningful. They also despised computer but today, the same computers are seen in every government office and almost in every private business premises whether active or dead with the vacuum tubes, transistors or integrated circult(depending on the model)running or not.

Bitcoin will get to the level of being integrated as part of to medium of payment someday.

And the answer is clearly no! Never ever in this world will all countries join or do the same. That is the advantage of having so many countries with different systems, laws and culture. Finally the good news is that if you are not happy with the system in your country, you are usually free to leave and go to where you feel more comfortable. ;)

Depends upon which country you belong too .
To be honest , it is just a trend that one country follows from the other . The opposition countries would never do the same thing . There is always a risk , you have to be sure about the amount you are trading because a minimal amount would not hurt . Moreover ,  most countries are still "unknown" and "unsure" about its take on crypto currency trading.

Just go with the flow is my advice to you. You should not be scared, they can't punish millions of people for doing crypto if it was illegal. But it is not illegal so no worries there. If some country pronounces it illegal just switch to another country after a while. You are missing the chance of earning money and learning about new technology at the same time.
As the matter of fact, it will be a new payment (financial) system in our near future.

The best way to sell bitcoins for dollars on the stock exchange. If your country has no claims to bitcoin and is not included in the sanctions list, you will have no problems registering on the exchange and receiving a Bank transfer from there. But if your country's on the black list, you're in trouble.

No way all counties make bitcoin legal. A state exists by taxing citizens, weak currency may be partially replaced by bitcoin, look what happened in Venezuela and Zimbabve. Authorities lose control over citizen's funds therefore over whole situation there. Only modern and strong economy may tolerate bitcoin. The government will take taxes from transactions on the exchange for Fiat. But they will never allow the use of bitcoins as a legal means of payment in stores. If bitcoin is banned in your country, you must exchange it in another country or in illegal exchangers.

Bitcoin will not help such countries. They only have one way out. It's the issue of new money. As long as people will not be in the hands of a large amount of money can save up goods in stores and make residents who have savings in foreign currency to exchange dollars for a new currency. But this is a temporary step. The main actions should be aimed at the destruction of corruption and theft.

You clearly know your country better than us. So before doing something, you should study all its aspects to see whether it will be suitable and beneficial for you or not. And that implies stating the possible risks and their solutions. Yes, brother. Nothing can be done that easily.

You clearly know your country better than us. So before doing something, you should study all its aspects to see whether it will be suitable and beneficial for you or not. And that implies stating the possible risks and their solutions. Yes, brother. Nothing can be done that easily.
Time will come for sure that all countries will make cryptocurrency legal especially now that bitcoin brings name in Japan, and when Japan becomes successful in it countries will get curious and will reopen the possibility again to people.

The legal status of Bitcoin and the digital currency is still a hot debate to date, but significant progress is evident in some countries.

As time passes, some countries begin to look at Bitcoin and the digital currency by trying to legalized of the digital currency.

Typically, regulation is not something that all parties support. But in the case of Bitcoin, regulation is a gift. Bitcoin regulation is something that is supported by the Bitcoin community around the world.

I also hope bitcoin will become legal worldwide.

No one can ever know if a country is ever going to make Bitcoin legal or illegal. It totally depends on the thoughts of the authorities of that country, and those thoughts are never public unless they decide to implement them.
That's right. The author is making problem on an empty place.
That is going to be like a Big Bang if some of those countries which already forbidden crypto trading will change their decision about it. I guess it is more possible that some more countries will join to this ban rather those country will change something about their rough crypto regulation.

No all the countries will not make bitcoin legal. Because they are afraid of cryptocurrency. Once crypto enters in to the country it will affect local fiat's. The main reason countries will not accept bitcoin due to this reason. But once it accept bitcoin it will leads the countries growth.

To recognize or not recognize the Crypto-currency as a legitimate means of payment on the territory of one's own country is an internal matter of each state and in this matter no one has the right to indicate it. As we can see, in different countries this question is solved in different ways. The process of legalizing crypto currency will still take a very long time and there is no guarantee that it will end for it positively in all countries.

It seems that this year will be decisive for the crypto currency in the issue of its recognition by the majority of the states of the world. Following Japan, more countries recognize bitcoin and another crypto currency as a means of payment with all the ensuing consequences. A few days ago, the representatives of the "Big Twenty" also generally supported the possible recognition of the crypto currency, and since July this issue can be considered at this summit. If the issue is resolved positively, most states recognize the Crypto currency and this will be a turning point in its existence.

Just imagine,In this sphere,In technology there are a lot of money and we know many projects like google or even youtube, their income maybe milliards of dollars in just two or three month and if someone in developing country do the projects like it, they will be very successful in the future,Their economical conditions will be better by this and not a worse,I see a great potential in it and I hope they will understand it too,Anyway that's why I say this.

You do not understand the purpose of cryptocurrencies. Any decision to legalize and regulate the cryptocurrency market will lead to people losing interest in this asset. The whole attraction of bitcoin was that it did not control its users. Now people are ready to destroy bitcoin to get free access to Fiat.

They don't have a problem with cryptocurrencies, they have a problem with decentralization, losing control. China's central bank is making their own cryptocurrency, obviously it's legal, but it's not the kind of cryptocurrency we're looking for.

If not then need to think on it.  If you are dare enough, you can very well do it so.  No harm in it?

If you are waiting for govt. To make it legal before you invest in cryptos then its better if you drop the whole idea of investing in cryptos itself. Cryptos are targetted at removing centralized censorship over money in this world. And what you are saying is that you will invest in decentralization when the centralized authority will allow it? Do you really think this will ever happen? Moreover even if all countries make it legal that wont mean they will have it backed as a legal tender too. No third party can guarantee you your money when it comes to cryptos.

I think every country has a different policy about bitcoin legality and its rules, and as long as this country still gives freedom in trading transactions with crypto I do not think it should be discussed about legality
And about the opportunity for bitcoin legality is very small because so far bitcoin is more dominant as a business asset than currency.

Not all countries bitcoin make them legal to their place some of them refuse and some of them embrace bitcoin technology, like what happen to Japan they are friendly on bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. If I was not mistaken they have many companies of crypto exchange.
But there is country also who refused bitcoin just like China, they banning crypto exchange in their place.

Their government avoiding to these possible happen if they allow bitcoin.
*to use in illegal activities
*users to become Ponzi scheme
*maybe bitcoin is big competent to the bank of the country near in the future.

Those the negative side they saw in bitcoin but they never know that this is bringing people to fulfil their daily needs.

Each country has its rules regarding the legal side of cryptocurrencies, but the adoption will necessarily pass through the use of the blockchain in everyday life (mining, payment, cloud, sensitive data protection ...).
We need to have a very long-term vision before the blockchain has a real impact on our lives.

It will only happen if cryptos become regulated assets which includes them being taxable. If this happens, govts will definitely have no issues in having their (registered) merchants accept crypto payments since tax evasion (i think) is their main concern.

It is okay if the government will not make it legal for as long as we are free to access it, hope that the thing that they will make taxable are those who are doing trading, to add some input tax in exchanges if ever, but if they will not make it legal it is fine we are all in favor with that.

You aren't free as long as you are using centralized services, that's the whole point here. If you want to distance yourself from all these sanctions, then you are forced to stick to local markets and decentralized exchanges, which fortunately for everyone here, are becoming more active and offer more usability. I however do believe that those who were early enough, enjoy the highest level of privacy, and these are the people mostly selling through otc markets. It's a smart move allowing them to maintain as much of their anonymity as possible, which is something we should be focusing on as well with how this market is getting more and more regulated, and thus offers less overall freedom (if any at all in current time frame)....

Each state has the right to independently resolve the issue of legalization of the crypto currency and recognition of its legitimacy in the territory of that state. Since this is an internal issue of each state, no one has the right to indicate to him how to act in his decision. Everything will depend on the success of introducing crypto currency in the leading countries of the world. If such implementation is successful, then other states will follow this same path of recognition. However, this process will be lengthy and ambiguous. I hope that all countries will ever come to a logical decision to recognize the crypto currency as a legitimate means of payment.

We cannot really control the beliefs of some countries, they thinks all the time that bitcoin was a great way to scam people so they are just protecting their people, we cannot blame them because they are just after more on the security rather than the opportunity for their people.

Each country in its own way will decide the issue with the legalization of bitcoins and other crypto currency. In this matter no one can tell them. Therefore, it is better that they, in their experience, are convinced of the profitability of its legalization, as well as the inevitability of this process. Citizens of each country should also take an active stance on this issue and the government, under the pressure of its citizens, will quickly go to its legalization. However, this process is quite long and will take many more years.

Since here in our country, our government are open for this kind of industry, so I can say that time will come that they'll make it legal, we have to be happy when that time comes as well as sad because for sure there is already tax imposed on it, if some countries just like Japan will become more successful for sure some countries will follow their footsteps.

I like the optimism but to some extent, crypto replacing the paper currency or the others issued by the governments seems quite foolish to me at this moment. I don't see it happening because the nature of crypto is not suitable for a country to adapt as a regular currency. For individuals it may not be as destructing but for countries the value of currency matters a lot.
I am hoping for the ban to be lift on bitcoin and other cryptocurrency in my country as it has affected many people who adopted it.

The process of acceptance and legalization of the crypto currency will be very complex and time-consuming. It will probably take more than a decade, because there is a conflict of interest and it is very difficult to implement technically. Banks and some government agencies are not interested in introducing crypto currency into our lives. Each state will decide this issue in its own way. As we can see, the solutions to such issues are also different. Only when the crypto currency will prove its usefulness and necessity, when the leading countries legalize it in themselves, only then this issue will be solved much faster.

In each country the process of legalization of the crypto currency has occurred and is happening in different ways. And the results of such an examination are also different. In the future, a great influence on this process will be provided by decisions of various associations of states, such as the European Union, the G20 countries and others. So far, I see no big obstacles to the recognition and legalization of the Crypto-currency. However, this process will be very lengthy.

So cryptography is the coolest way to keep information securely,Even Institutional information...I hope Countries will start to use even blockchain for their institutional purposes,Which for me means tendence,Tendence of cryptocurrencies,Yes I know that blockchain doesn't mean cryptocurrencies but they are very close to each other and if countries implement this they will also start using cryptocurrencies...For example in my country,Goverment has already implemented blockchain to register property and to keep this registration documents,At the same time people started to use cryptocurrencies for their special purposes...So what you said is right,at the same time I hope that all countries will make it legal because of its profitable nature.

It may come as a snowball effect when some countries take a judgement from another country as a pattern to follow. Or it may be that a cluster of countries like EU adopt a law that is valid in all the members of that union. For example: German Federal Ministry of Finance announced that purchases of bitcoins would not be taxed, as the cryptocurrency is a legitimate payment instrument. The Office issued its decision on 27 February. In this document, the regulator relies on the Court of Justice of the European Union in 2015. And this ruling sets a precedent for all EU members.

I think it will take time before all countries implement the legalization of bitcoin/cryptocurrency because of the fact it is decentralized which is not backed up by any financial institutions. Even our country is not in favor in using bitcoin because of the volatility and risk when investing. Although they dont make it legal, trading cryptos are not prohibited here so we are free whatever we do with our cryptos as long as there is no illegal transactions involved.

It will  take  sometimes that all countries of the world would accept bitcoins because according G20 dignitaries only 20%of the world population is  using crypto currency  and beside that there is no significant impact to the business community, legalization of bitcoin maybe if the world population uses bitcoin reaching 20% or more.

The opportunity for bitcoin in legal an to be traded by all countries is still very open. Where today, all countries are already digitizing the economy through banking services. It becomes a way for bitcoin to be acceptable to all countries as long as the regulation that every country will make does not harm the bitcoin users.

I think it depends wholesomely with the countries that are currently reviewing or about to take
a deeper look in cryptcurrencies. Each country has different opinions and priorities that will influence
if legalization and regulation should be push through. I believe this process will take time and to some
nations a success in that matter. It's hard to tell at this point, though a lot of influential and powerful
nations have effortlessly accepted crypto, other nations are still unprepared and skeptical of the whole
thing. Only time can deliberately tell.

Anyway everything depends on how much support  it can obtain from the community,I think this is an answer for all questions like that,This issue completely depends on people,How they value it,If there is no support from society of course there won't be cryptocurrency legal anymore. The second reason is finances of concrete country.Today We know that there are too many countries with poor economy and its obvious that thay can't get regulations,So this issue is very complex too.
In additional,As I know correctly there are many social groups,Advocacy firms,Non-profit groups which are supporting it and trying to protect cryptocurrency.

In the near future, almost all states will be forced to consider the issue of legalization of the crypto currency, as well as to address other issues related to it, and, above all, issues related to the taxation of this type of activity. At the same time, decisions about the crypto currency will not be the same in all countries. In countries with an aatoritarian form of government, where the rights of the people of power can be ignored, the crypto currency may be banned for circulation until the situation with respect for the rights of citizens there is not resolved. This will be a long and controversial process, but eventually we will come to the fact that the crypto currency will be legalized in all countries.

Popular will only make governments more afraid and will take firm action against users of cryptocurrency. But there is a subtle way to be accepted in various countries, blockchain is one technology that will help the problems of countries such as economy and business. So far the government considers that blockchain is bitcoin, it is a mistake that must be fixed . Because bitcoin is part of blockchain, if the government accepts and adopts blockchain it is likely the government will receive bitcoin as well.

Yes because cryptocurrency is the future world money, this is the only thing that can give us a satisfying transaction and will give us more time for any important activities. Also using this new system give us a chance to hide our true identity which is the thing that we don't like to share to anyone else.

In the coming years, all countries will be forced to consider the legality of the circulation of the crypto currency in their territory. In this case, the status of the crypto currency will be determined, as well as the issue of its taxation. Each country will solve this issue in its own way and the results will also be different. However, over time, countries will gradually approach a uniform solution of these issues. The legal  of status of bitcoin varies substantially from country to country and is still undefined or changing in many of them .Whereas the majority of countries do not make the usage of bitcoin itself illegal, its status as money (or a commodity) varies, with differing regulatory implications. While some countries have explicitly allowed it's use and trade, others have banned or restricted it.

The easiest way for this to happen is if crytpocurrencies are considered as a store value asset (like gold, diamond, bonds etc) rather than everyday flat out trading currency. This is because governments will want their stated out fiat money to still make sense and have its value; thus, converting your crypto to state regulated fiat still brings positive value to that particular fiat, and governments will not want to easily loose this hold.

The main reason why some countries arent on Bitcoin side, because the whole idea of Bitcoin and its decentralization goes against the Government and the banks.

This can be done so slow and I think every leaders should study the advantages of cryptocurrency rather than banning it. There must be a certain conferences with those biggest investors prior this currency will be implemented. Making this legal can be so hard for every country specially when the leader of each particular state wouldn't recognized paperless transactions like bitcoin and other crypto.

This can be done in future but not now,  because many countries have no faith in cryptocurrency. Government afraid if they accept bitcoin people use that for illegal purpose. It takes long time to understand the whole concept about cryptocurrency. If one country accepts cryptocurrency and running successfully means automatically the other cointries are ready to accept as legal.

Hope so but not immediately all countries accept cryptocurrency as legal. It will take time to understand the whole concept about the cryptocurrency. Some countries now announced cryptocurrency as legal. This would change the other countries also. If one country is well in economic growth with cryptocurrency means other countries also consider about the legalization of cryptocurrency.

While some countries find it difficult to legalize it, it is because of the decentralize nature of it. Government will always want to have direct or indirect control of the financial world which is anti_smart contract which is one the key features of cryptocurrency through blockchain technology.

Very much just a friend, you see as far as the countries are in uncertainty. That is told about the ban, and then taxes consider. Constantly there is a speculation in the price. If your country hasn't legalized cryptocurrency that look narrowly at more friendly countries. 8) ;)

The risk is always there no matter where you go, it is just a matter of how you will handle the risk when you take it. If that's how you set your mind, then i guess you won't go far in life and you will stay at your cave while some of them are taking the risk and leaving you while they find their new home. Why are you worried at the other countries if they were not legal yet? You only have one country and a nationality, unless you wanted to travel all around the globe while using your Bitcoin as a payment.

More friendly countries includes the countries in Asia and one particular country as an example is Japan and South Korea, was into the legalization of bitcoin. Their country has a fair regulations about bitcoin which has helped the bitcoin price to become more stable for few months, while the dip was still happening right now. In western countries there were some countries that bans bitcoin because of serious reasons which I think not really significant to bitcoin, because I knew bitcoin can be regulated. If asian and other countries imposed a fair regulations about bitcoin, then why its hard to legalize cryptocurrency? That would be so hard to think about, but still am hopeful this will be legalized 80% of the countries around the world will adopt cryptocurrency.

These countries has a negative perceptions on cryptocurrencies and that restriction on trading will continue until a new leader with open mind took office. Only time can tell when will the country's leaders legalizes bitcoin and trading exchanges. Magbe it is hard for them to allow a virtual currency that is decentralized or can't be control by any existing laws.

Bitcoin’s legality is quite a controversial issue as almost every country has rejected it as a legal tender. This is primarily because of the fact that Bitcoin is a decentralized cryptocurrency.  While it is not officially legal in the US, the government has classified cryptocurrencies as MSB (Money Services Business). The US government has been more open and positive about Bitcoin compared to many other nations. Several government bodies have been instructed that all Bitcoin transactions need to be carried out only in legal terms.

probably all countries can legalize crypto but with the terms and conditions of each country. so that each country will make different rules of law. because crypto users are very difficult to monitor, this is because crypto users come from various countries and can transact with any country. and various transactions that occur. so it is possible to violate the law.

However, the recognition of the crypto-currency sets new challenges for the state, which it is absolutely necessary to resolve. In particular, the decentralized nature of the blockade puts the government in the task of finding a balance between anonymity and user safety. All this, of course,
leads to the improvement and development of not only the financial sector of the economy, but all aspects of the life of the rule of law.

The adoption is gradual but  soon if XRP is going to be widely accepted and known then were all going to see a massive price rise to almost all altcoins.

We cannot control which countries would make bitcoin legal or not. Governments have different perspectives and plans regarding cryptocurrency. Some see it as a threat while some see it as an opportunity. But there are still several countries who support bitcoin. So there is still a potential for bitcoin as long as there are a number of countries who believe in its potential. And as long as it is legal in your own country, you don't have to worry that much.

The process of legalization of the crypto currency is an internal matter of each state. No one has the right to interfere in this process. Therefore, it is impossible to predict anything about the general legalization of the crypto currency by all states. Moreover, the crypto currency has its advantages and disadvantages. And the shortcomings from the point of view of the states are very serious. And above all, the uncontrollability of its use and greater volatility. How can a digital something in the form of money in the state be accepted if it has one value in the morning, another day,
and in the evening is the third. How to levy taxes on profits from such activities. It's the same any experts will get confused. Therefore, for example, in Poland, attempts were made to shift the activity of documenting and calculating taxes from the crypto currency to the citizens themselves, which provoked legitimate protests. So, there are a lot of problems with the crypto currency and they are quite serious, especially as they concern the basis of existence of each state-the money.

There are already countries that are recognizing cryptocurrencies legally and some are on the process of it but some are still firm with their decision not to let its countrymen use crypto because of the risk that they might use it in illegal means so we cannot do something about it. It may take some time for all the countries to recognize it but it will eventually happen when majority of the countries make it legal so the minority that is left wouldn't want to be left behind so they will legalize it. Many of countries do not make the usage of bitcoin illegal. Most of them countries have varies differing regulatory implications. While some countries have allowed it's use & trade, others have banned or restricted it. Various government of the country have classified bitcoin differently. I think this is the major hurdle which is to be short out accordingly in future.Task is not easy but hope so in coming days all issues will be short out.

Yes all the countries will accept cryptocurrency as legal but not immediately it will some time to accept. Now itself many countries accepted cryptocurrency as legal. Because the the future of money will be the cryptocurrency only. If one countries economic growth will be developed means automatically it will have a great chance to other countries accept as legal. Hope in future the cryptocurrency will takes in all place.

I think the questions you should have consider is does your own country accept cryptocurrency e.g bitcoin? Do we really need all the countries to accept cryptocurrency  before you can invest into it? and so on. With time many countries in the world would make it legal for transaction.

I think to make all countries make legal cryptocurrancy. It needs a long and difficult process. Besides that some countries do not still believe about cryptocurrency. Because they are still afraid for the people cryptocurrency can perform illegal transactions, which are used as payment  tools etc. So it is  reason that  they are accessing cryptocurrency, until they can control cryptocurrency. For example some countries is using cryptocurrency, Some countries receive  cryptocurrency to improve their business and services.

maybe. crypto is a digital currency that can overcome the problems that have occurred such as transaction speed, accuracy, transparency and security. so crypto is very appropriate to overcome these problems and the increasingly complex financial transaction activities so it is appropriate to use crypto.

Countries that have not adopted to cryptocurrency, and doesnt declare anything has a chance of making it legal pr not. They can decide which side of the table they want to be. Those who already illegalize it is almost impossible to stop. I guess of countries all decided which side they would be, pros and cons, and the majority is on the side of crypto then those countries ban it would follow the lead.

It totally depends on the thoughts of the authorities of that country, and those thoughts are never public unless they decide to implement them.

yes hopefully this prediction really happened, everyone is now waiting for that time, but even then there is no legality fixed bitcoin will be the number one choice, and remain number one.

Only id the respective governments feel that they can have some influence over it, and this can only come about with the first step of regulations set by these governments, under the "rule of law" in this case financially. But first governments will have to understand and would have to had implemented the technology behind cryptocurrencies, which is blockchain - testing blockchain applications in other facets of the governmental institutions. Once they see it can work there, then they will be more open to applying to the financial industry.

The real answer in no. You cannot please everyone and it applies on anything that exists in this world. The first requirement of crypto is an internet and smartphone or any gadget where they can do transactions and I doubt that poor countries can provide a public wifi to consolidate the use of crypto.

Yeah more or less it would take some time and with heavy regulations like Fincen's AML compliances, it would take 5 years or less to legalize this in whole world. Only big companies like shufti pro and hooyu are now able to cope up with new AML compliance so it will definitely be legal but more regulated.

The process of legalizing crypto currency by different states has been and will be quite complex and contradictory. States are not very interested in having on their territory a crypto currency that can not be controlled and which has such great volatility at such a high cost. Bitcoin, in most cases, will be recognized as a financial asset and very rarely as a means of payment. However, the attitude to the crypto-currency in most states can also still change.

I do not think that can happen now. All countries are just not going legalize crytocurrencies now. Some government have expressed their outmost disgust for bitcoin but that does not put a restriction on cryptocurrency operation. We rather need support from the central bank-transaction perfection, transparency and security will help popularize bitcoin.

I think its very possible for universality of bitcoin whereby every country will legalize its operation. That will be very nice. BITCoin has com a long way , but it is not over. Some countries like China, United States of America and South Korea are already comfortable with bitcoin operations and hence have made cryptos legal. Hopefullly, several other countries would also do same with time.....

We see that the process of legalizing crypto-currency takes a very long time. At such a pace as now, it may take many years for all countries to decide on this issue. However, we also do not know what can happen during this time. During this time, bitcoin can rise very much in its price and after panic, it falls very low. And this can happen several times. After that, the states will become much more negative about the entire Crypto-currency, considering it a financial bubble. Therefore, we can not say whether the crypto currency will ever be considered legitimate in all countries.

To make cryptocurrency validated throughout the world, it may still be difficult, in addition to the level of progress of different countries, there are still many countries that want to protect the value of their currencies so that they do not endorse bitcoin. feared that business people leave the use of a country's currency and switch to bitcoin, it can be ascertained that the value of the country's currency is reduced, perhaps for some countries especially developed countries such things will not happen ...

I don't think that many countries will adopt cryptocurrency, because there's a deep reasons that hinders their leader to accept this fact that it will replace traditional money. However there's more advantages that made other countries planned to legalize this type of digital money to be their potential legit currency. Good thing to know that in south korea their people was very much educated with bitcoin and other cryptocurrency, that's why it's not hard for them to adopt the system.

In each state they will make an individual decision on whether to legalize bitcoin and other crypto currency, or not. This process will be very lengthy and ambiguous. It is unprofitable for the states as a whole to have a decentralized crypto currency in the country. It is not easily controlled by the government and has very high volatility, which is why the state bodies themselves are unlikely to widely apply decentralized crypto currency in their practice. Therefore, we can not say in advance whether all states recognize bitcoin as legitimate, or not.

It will be a bit difficult to neglect the importance of government actions and involvement in Bitcoin and generally cryptocurrency. Government of each nations are the custodian of the sovereign. Without even a tacit approval or sympathy from the sovereign to the cryptocurrency community, you bet we won't progress beyond where we are now. The little gains and global acceptability being witnessed was achieved principally because of the various governmental positive pronouncements made, friendly laws enacted and policies formulated that tintly favors cryptocurrency adoption. The ultimate aim of the crypto-world is to secure major national/governmental acceptance or support. Without it, the currency becomes like digital valueless primitive cowries and shekels in our hands. Everyone should therefore in our various capacity in different nations keep pushing for adoption and acceptance into the larger society.

This is a rather lengthy process and is still unknown how it can end. Each state is free to choose a solution to legalize its own crypto currency. A decentralized crypto currency for the state brings more problems than good. Therefore, whether all states will legalize bitcoin and other crypto currency will depend on how quickly and successfully this process will take place in other states and what are the practical results of such legalization.

Belarus opened the door for crypto currency.I want to write about my country to Belarus because we have our own crypto currency. At the moment it is protected from devaluation and has very great opportunities in business. So with the Belarusian cryptothaler you can start your own business. Now a lot of attention is paid to work on the development of IT-technologies and this caused great interest in the society. The name of the crypto currency was received in honor of the monetary unit, which had circulation on the territory of modern Belarus during the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and the Commonwealth. Thaler is based on blocking technology and a slightly improved bitcoin algorithm. Personally, I think that the Belarusian crypto-currency at the development stage and behind it promises very great prospects. I think that this is an excellent development of the crypto-currency called Thaler and the future for it.

to make bitcoin legal in all countries it may still be difficult, because the economic power, the technology used and the value of the currencies of each country are different, so to unite all countries in crypto is very difficult, but for countries with advanced technology and eye value money is also stable, things like that are not difficult problems, now users of bictoin currencies are still dominated by developed countries.

the possibility of bitcoin being legalized in western countries is very reasonable, seeing the negative market sentiment towards the dollar because of the trade war with China, the Americans themselves have begun to test crypto use and success, and many parties have begun to legalize bitcoin, many Muslim countries began to accept crypto for example qatar, but there are still many who are hesitant to accept it, but still do not prohibit bitcoin even if only acknowledge it as an asset or as a commodity.

Some countries have protective laws that bans any kind of currencies and it will take to amend or repeal the law if that government changed its mind and decided to allow cryptocurrency in their area. Other nations will eventually legalized bitcoin after some studies conducted by their monetary team. Tgere many reasons why some countries will continue to ban bitcoin but I believe that their would not last long.
