Title: How do you explain the bounty campaign?
Post by: Pain Packer on March 10, 2018, 02:22:08 AM
When I earned my first money with the bounty, people around me (especially my family) asked me where did my money came from. When I told them that it came from bounty campaigns, I saw their puzzled face. So I explain it to them with this analogy: "When politicians are running for office, they always show their faces in public in order for them to remember. They give flyers with their name and platforms in it. ICOs are like politicians and their elections is called bounty campaign. We make the ICO popular by posting in forums, social media sites, and creating videos and article." And they quickly understood it so every time someone ask me about bounty campaign, I always used this analogy. How about you?

It is very hard to explain what a bounty is to many people who aren't in the industry. I think the best way to explain is that it is a micro task that you do and get paid for each task whether it's sharing on twitter, commenting. I think using the word micro task will be easier to explain.

The best way to explain on to your family on how did you earn the money. You can tell them that you are a campaign adviser of a company, provide them the details, like the name of the coin, the name of your campaign manager, the team that owns the coin. You can also tell them that you invested in a digital coin stock market look a like. I assure you that they will understand you if you will be provide all the information. Just explain everything to them and everything will be fine.

Yes,  the same of you when my family asked me where did I get that big amount of money that I have. Because they are confusing about my money. That why I tell them about signature campaign which is I was promoted about a Bounty ICOs project. I tell them that it is easy to earn a lot of money in this project. Its simply with the use of internet through social media like facebook,  tweeter and telegram.  You can spread about the important information or the datails of this project and their products.

Nice explanation,i would tell my family the same, because they are asking too much about these things when i have the chance to get involved with these bounties,i will tell the same so that the analogy would be easier, people without any knowledge will think that you are doing illegal things like cyber sex, hacking, selling drugs online. :'(

many friends are asking about the bounty campaign from what it looks like and how it works and then I explain to them in a meticulous way from joining the campaign and we have to complete all the squads of the campaign and what if we have been accepted then we must finish our tasks such as we take our respective campaigns such as twitter and fcebook so our task is only to like and share links in social media until the campaign ends

when my friends ask me on how bounty works and how can we get our money their.
I explain them by this:

First, you must go to https://bitcointalk.org/ then register if you don't have account or if yes, log in and then go to https://bountylord.com
second, choose your prospect project and join their bounties like twitter and facebook. Then check the spreadsheet if your name was their.
Bounties works like this. We will endorse the project in the social networking site like facebook and twitter.
you must do what the rules set in the specific bounty (facebook/twitter)
after we endorse them, we will make our report in their thread if the project requires. example this :
week1
post
1.
2.
repost
1.
2.
and then afterwards, check the spreadsheet after 2 or 3 days, if your work counts. And then if your report counted and the project was finished, you will read in the thread on when do you received your shares.
Just like that. Easy right.?

This is the way I explain to my friends, so other of them joined me too.

It amazes me somehow when I get a huge reward especially if only few participants joined in a campaign. It's worth waiting for. We just need to do good works.

I do not think you need to explain the bonus campaign and the money you earn from that campaign. You just have to earn a lot of profit and people will enjoy it and want you to show them how to bid for bonuses.
From there, you will easily explain to them because they really want to learn from your experience. It is better to write articles for them, they will learn quickly.

I prefer to say bounty are like jobs. You apply when you meet the qualifications such as your rank in the forum. And your job is to promote the product which is the ICO and you will be paid together with other participants which are like employees. And in every job, there is a budget for the payment. The more participants there is, the less you will get because it will be equally divided. The higher the rank or position, receives a greater share than those with lower rank but has also the greater task.

and interested in their product.
the more the product famous the more he product raise their success.
even sometime some of  them still don't understand. :D especially people who are still don't understand about social media.
it seem great exactly earning money from this forum, much more better than work in company.
it's just the way we manage the time and get the strategy.

Same scenario here and it's really hard to explain lol. The thing that I said is that, Bounty campaigns is like advertisement which we can be paid for advertising our supported project. Unlike the usual advertisement on tv, we do spreading about the project that we are supporting through social medias and forum. We are going to paid using token which we can exchange for different cryto currencies like bitcoin. Then when I already have Bitcoin the next thing I do is to exchange it to real currencies like USD. Now, they understand what I am doing.

Verbal explanation of bounty campaign to family members might not be enough to convince them how you are making money. Practical explanations is much needed here  this could be achieved by showing them how you advertise for ICOs via different means I.e wearing their signatures, through social media like Facebook, twitter e.t.c using your laptop or a phone.

Basically, I just explain them briefly like you help an ICO spreading their words to community, then they will reward you some spare tokens. And It works, all of them're now joining with twitter and facebook campaign, and it looks like they even more active than me on that haha.

It is really hard to explain how this works most specially when it comes to social media campaigns. IF you would think, why would they pay you if you're just sharing their post and that your most of your friends do not know and will not appreciate this?  One reason is because in social media the more a post is being shared the more it will show at suggestion page. Meaning if someone search for a crpto most likely the first that would show up is the post that has the higher impact or has the higher shares.

Bounty campaign is a way of advertising a company that will answer the 5 Ws as to (What, When, Where, Why, and Who). ICOs are using them to spread the words of the company and attract contributors or investors to participate in the crowdsale to raise the needed funds to complete the project.

The most ideal approach to disclose on to your family on how could you acquire the cash. You can reveal to them that you are a battle consultant of an organization, give them the points of interest, similar to the name of the coin, the name of your crusade chief, the group that claims the coin. You can likewise disclose to them that you put resources into an advanced coin securities exchange look a like. I guarantee you that they will comprehend you in the event that you will be give all the data. Simply disclose everything to them and there is no reason to worry. ;)

Of course this is visual advertising. Bright pictures like short slogans are quickly remembered. For me, participating in the bounty is primarily an additional bonuses to ICO. Since I almost always buy tokens of those projects in which I participate in the bounty. Especially I need bounty if my country turns out to be banned in a prospective ICO.

Me too, I got the same case just like you my where family and friends asks me how I got so much money from some campaigns, They also ask me what is cryptocurrency!. It is also too hard to explain even on details because they also come up with following questions such as how it works and what it really do.
When they got interested on what you do in bounty campaigns I just tell them: "The money I got in the campaign is a reward from supporting their project and that's all how I got them".

I do not know what's incomprehensible. Basically bounty campaigns aim to promote a project on all paths. Depending on your abilities, you choose to promote a project in a certain way. It's advertising. Everywhere advertising is needed. Someone has to promote the project. Here we intervene, those who participate in bounty campaigns. It's simple. And the money comes from achieving the imposed goals. Performing micro-tasking. So you can explain to the family.

Great analogy there, but I usually explain it to my family and other people who ask me in full details about what I do. and this is precisely my explanation: Bounty campaigns are more like advertising, but rather than promoting a specific product, I am promoting a company's project which can be a new innovative way to transact online with their platform. I earn through some sort of advertising and by advertising I meant that I have an account on this forum called bitcointalk, my account in the forum wore a signature or you can compare it to an advertisement, from the company that I am currently working for and I post in different sections in the forums to be able to spread the companies name and project to others, and these investors that invest in the company's project are the ones who help us earn through giving us a share of what they have collected.

I just ongoing tell them that it came from an online job about new project advertising, It was hard to elaborate the details for some reason they might thought that the money was came from an illegal matters although crypto's wasn't legal yet but it wasn't prohibited by the law so if they asked me about it? As I've said it simply a payment for an advertisement.

If sometimes I'm not lazy to tell them what it is, I just say that I advertise projects. But I guess your explanation kinda help me get through this type of question. Your simple description of bounty campaign fits the description of government campaigns in our country.

As long as I follow the ico campaign, I have not felt like getting results because I'm new in the world of crypto but , If my family or another people ask me about it, I would answer like a new company would like to promote his company to get to know many people, with the ico campaign this new company is helped to promote his company and I am part of the people who promote it, and I get paid for.

It is very hard to explain what a bounty is to many people who aren't in the industry. I think the best way to explain is that it is a micro task that you do and get paid for each task whether it's sharing on twitter, commenting. I think using the word micro task will be easier to explain.
It easier to say an online advertising or a marketing work that is related to bitcoin and other altcoins, cause the first thing they will think about campaigns specifically signature campaign are signatures we are doing on physical activities or work, signature campaigns for donations, petition, surveys and political agendas, most of the people in my county have no idea about ICO projects, bounties and social media campaigns, they just know that it is an investment scheme or a bitcoin investment.

I explained it in short like this, bounty is more or less like someone is working as an internet marketer. We promote products through social media by creating awareness on social media and we easily get paid for the job. That's the short way i used.

In bounty campaigns, you wear a signature and then fulfill the number of posts required per week. You can earn money at the end of the ICO upon distribution. Despite of being a tedious job, it could be a good source of income for members with high rank because the equivalent stakes are high. However, this is not profitable in low rank members especially now that the system for ranking up has changed.

Bounty campaign is a program used to promote a project in a given period of time. There are different kind of promoting project. There are social media campaign where you use your facebook or twitter account to promote the project. There are also signature campaign where you will use their signature and start posting and replying in topics here. These are things i tried to explain with my parents. It is hard for me to convince them that the money i earned is not dirty as they think of it. They have no idea about cryptocurrency so its normal for them to be act like that. It will take time before they will start believing on our cryptocurrency world.

I explained to my friend about the bounty campaign, saying that the bounty campaign is a part time job that does not exceed one hour of working and earns it right away. But it depends on the rules of the day of the payments but usually at the end of the campaign. It's like a real job, because there are rules here and there own product or project.
By advertising, it's like an essay that you need to expand your own idea from a topic.
It's just my way to explain about the bounty signature campaign.

The bounties term is borrowed from gaming. But the application is the key difference. Blockchain and cryptocurrencies provide new ways of leveraging reward mechanisms through smart contracts. It exploring how rewards can extrinsically motivate individuals to engage in a behavior to satisfy a need or desire. Decentralized technology is also introducing a new generation of reward applications.

Its have many kind of campaign like facebook , twitter , youtube , bl0g , translation and the most important the signature. Signature campaign has big percentage on other campaign. Maybe it because he advertise in thia forum. Bounty campaign also use to earn token without investing your money.

Companies pay you their token for  social media action like retweet, repost . if you have  free time. try it . the best way to be in touch with all new ICOs is telegram channels. since there always a limit for a number of participants, you should be quick to be in right place in right time .

Bounty campaign is, as I understand it, the type of promotion for brand, product or company. Special actions aimed at increasing brand awareness among potential customers. These actions are divided into several types: active promotion in social networks (twitter, facebook, linkedin, reddit, etc.), on specialized media resources (blogs, forums, portals, etc.), in groups in popular instant messengers, the simple attraction of new customers through invites. This is enough to explain to everyone the essence of the bounty campaigns.

The struggle in explaining things that are foreign to other people is quite hard. Especially, if they are not into it... For me, the best way to explain bounty programs to them is by telling them how it works and why do I have to do such work that is related to it. Some people may be eager to know how you earn, so the best way is to give the curious person the materials/links that can help them understand.

Bounty campaign is helping the new coin on their promotion and advertising through various types of ways to help other members to see their ICO date sale.
There are a lot of ways to promote their ICO info:
Signature bounty campaign - by wearing their ICO information signature.
Social media bounty campaigns - Facebook, Twitter, telegram and other social communities.
Blog and YouTube - participants are making their own ICO information arrangement through blogs our YouTube video to promote ICO information.
And other types and ways of bounty campaigns.

Personally, i think bounty campaign is the way for a project to marketing their project without costing any fees. So instead of , using some real money to do the marketing, they simply use their tokens (About 5~10%) for the marketing and they will save a huge money .
Every ICOs is a start up , so it means money is the big problem with them at the start.

A bounty is a possibility to get tokens for free without an investment. You are being offered to perform some actions to promote the product and then you get a reward. For example: to join the TG channel, to repost something on Twitter.

Bounty hunters are people who are constantly searching for such campaigns. They have a hope to become millionaires in the next 3-4 years by doing this :D

I am trying to explain the bounty hunting is just promoting these new ICOs or coins that are trying to get investors for their project,we are just promoting these projects to the community but we arent doing somethig wrong like forcing them, because as a bounty hunter we arent connected to these projects so we wont know what will happen after the ICO.

What he did was showed me the topics and forums and said start reading this. It's quite boring at first because I really don't understand it. But later on as I was understanding what I am reading from forums and topics I learned little by little. But it takes lots of time and patience. If my husband  could have explained it to me that way, I could have understand it easily. 😀

for me i explain it to them in layman's term; that bounty campaign is like advertising some product (which is only starting), for them to have buyers and customers. rather than explaining them in a term that only investors in cryptos can understand.

Bounty campaign is promoting a project..at the end of the project campaign you paid granted..it is also use to earn token without investing your money.., it is easy for them to understand because we all know about advertising then explain next about cryptocurrency so they will have a little idea what the cryptocurrency is.

Bounty campaign is their way to gather people  who will help them to promote their projects. It is a one way to earn coins withour investing. You will just do a simple task that the project will provide. These are signature campaigns, social media campaigns and translation. These are simple task where you will just share or post about the project. Maybe you should tell them straight to the point that signature campaign is just a way to promote the project. It wont hurt them because there is no money involved to join.

We make the ICO popular by posting in forums, social media sites, and creating videos and article." nice explanation you got there mate. My way of explaining bounty campaign is this: it's like advertising a product through wearing a shirt with a picture of the product/service/company.

When people ask me about what does Bounty Campaign mean, i just tell them in a simple way.
Let just say there is a company, a new company telling or asking people or media to promote their product to the  society. To make the product well known and have some kind of branding rate. And that company wiiling to pay those who help to advertise their product with the product itself.
so the company get their product promoted while selling the product too.

My family and friends asked me the same question either. Like, what is bounty and why they will pay me? How's the project will benefit for it?. Then I told them. For example, you will put up a business. How people will know that you opened a company and what service the company offer? Ofcourse it requires marketing strategy. It's like your company hired me to go to a place where the are more people and distribute the flyers.

In my opinion, it's easier to say straight out that you are advertising the creation of new types of crypto currency and help the company that creates it, in search of potential investors for their purchase. This seems to me to be straightforward, simple and intelligible.

Bounty campaigns is quite hard to explain if the person is first time to heard about it. Your going to promote a project through different ways.i preferred to join bounty by signature campaign .you will promote their projects for a month. You need to be sure that the project is not a scam and if that happen your not get paid.

A bounty campaign can be explain like a small story that I am an advisor to a company about the promotion of their project, by advertising and giving guide lines for their project and I get money against my work this way the total story is clear, do not hide any thing and explain every thing to your family and friends so that they also participate.

We have the same issue! Before when I was starting joining some campaigns, my relatives always told me that cryptos are scams and comparing it to some ponzi scam. I got even into  fight with some of them. Then I realized that I just need to prove it to them. When my bounty cash, I bought a phone and show it to them. Thanks! I will use this explanation when they asked me about bounty campaigns. This is my first bounty campaign so I don't have any experiences at all.
But all I can share is that when I introduced bitcoin to my friends and family they just laughed at me no matter what I say or no matter how I explain it they all give me the same answer "bitcoin is a huge scam".
I can't change their opinions right now because I don't have proofs right now (the earnings from bitcoin) but if I do, I bet they will all ask me to teach them "how?" and by that time I will be the one laughing while teaching them.

When I would try to explain it to some of my friends who have a vague knowledge about bitcoin, I would say it like this "It is similar to an endorser of a product who post it in Facebook or other social media platform like Twitter and Instagram. Then it's like talking to other people while wearing the shirt of the product that I am endorsing. In that way, they can see the product that I am endorsing hoping that people will buy it."

I think that it is similar to bounty campaign. Since you are more likely to hook other people to see your coins and probably end up buying some.

Also, thank you for sharing your experience about explaining bounty campaigns to your family. Maybe I can use it when I would try to explain it to my family!

That's interesting.
I have a different way to explain the bounty campaign. My family also asked me where I got those buns of dollars in very short time, only some few months. I briefly only tell about, "It's a high technology era Mom, I can make money by online easily". At that time, I was smiling when I told them and I knew that they're very serious staring at me. Then, I tried to explain them about promoting a project and then I got the rewards. But, they are still difficult to understand it. Then, I must explain in details everything that I do, about bitcoin, cryptocurrency, ICO, and about bounty simply.
But I Know that they still don't understand fully, however they believe that it is a good thing to do.
And now, when someone asks me about it, I will ask them first, "Do you know about bitcoin? cryptocurrency?". if they don't know, simply answer " learn about it first and I will tell you about the way to earn easily.

in any case, I should understand that every participant in the Bounty of the company, in order to fulfill the conditions of the company and do the work for which he subscribed, he must learn a lot of information about the crypto currency and about the specific company. Bounties in the digital word take their origin from online gaming platforms that offered rewards for participating in their game development. Bounties are essentially incentivized reward mechanisms offered by companies to individuals. What this means is that a company introducing a product or a service offers some rewards to people in exchange for performing certain tasks. It is akin to a barter trade of sorts; the company gives rewards to a person and the person in return does some simple tasks for the company. It is a veritable means of advertising for many companies.

That's right the job as I think it's fair but sometimes I'm wondering a lot of people who think such work is the same as gambling and anything related to bitcoin they think this offense is very pertinent and it's happening in my neighborhood
Actually this is about our job and its not related with another people so let them talk whatever but we got the salary from here and we can continue our life without bothering others. Actually this job is like sales and there is not relation with gambling. But let them think what they want.

There are set of methods which describes the Bounty Campaign, one of which I know is an Australian company called Blockgrain
They’re aiming to automate the supply chain with Grain and later on Fruit/Vegetables/Wool. It’s an Australian ICO.
Australia is amongst the largest exporters of food, and there is absolutely no competition. Their token sale is started by the way. Get your KYC done if you haven't.

Your analogy is really a good example to use when asked of what we are doing on the internet to make sizeable amount of money. I would also like to use it somehow. Truly bounty campaign is one of the most effective marketing strategy of an ICO project. By applying as a bounty campaigner, you will going to campaign those ICOs and in return, you will receive a reward (depends on your stakes). Your reward will be a coin/token from that ICO which you can trade in crypto market once it hits crypto exchange or you can hold it for long term. This is also a good exercise for a bounty campaigner like me who also likes to contribute to ICOs because it helps me determine what projects are worth investing for.

Bounty Campaign is a form of advertisement where the participants of the campaign are being paid of  tokens they  gonna advertised in social media. The tokens being received can be kept for long term position or convert to BtC or ETH in an exchange which can be later convert to fiat.
There's no need to make it hard for them to understand, just focus with how the company benefits with your help and how will you benefits from them, each time that you participate with bounty, you are giving the company exposure and you are given them possible lead to attract investors and users
that will be their possible supporters, while by doing that you are guaranteed to be compensated in forms of their own tokens or sometimes you can also received it in bitcoin, enough earnings for your help.

Since I almost always buy tokens of those projects in which I participate in the bounty. Especially I need bounty if my country turns out to be banned in a prospective ICO.

And after the project is finished we get gifts in the form of coins. Recently I described digital currencies like the Ethereum Bitcoin, altcoin and others.

Well, everyone of us encounter that kind of situation and if someone asked me how does a bounty can pay me in my posting well I just explain it simple like in a television commercial the product will pay to make them popular, and bounty is like the product that need to be popular, but in our work it’s not just in a single country but all countries which is bitcoin is accepted.

That was what I experienced. They blamed me and didn't trust me at once because I got big rewards at that time. First tried to explain it in every detail. But, they couldn't believe it. Then, I just forgot it and left it from my mind. I kept my cash and I Focused on bounty again. Time to time, they still thought negatively. However, I just focus on my job as a daily routine. Then, my close family knows what I did and then I tried again to explain by showing how it works. Finally, they can understand it and now some of my family are also involved in cryptocurrency.

Before cryptocurrency project launches its ICO they make a Bounty Campaign. A bounty Campaign is when you do some tasks for the company and instead of getting Fiat money like Euro or Dollar, you get stakes. Those stakes will transform into Tokens which when the Ico starts can be traded for Fiat. It is a very easy way to gain quick money and there is a perfect category for everyone. I've done a lot of bounty's and I really enjoyed them by gaining when the tokens enlisted in the exchanger.

For the people who does not have any knowledge in cryptocurrency, it is quite difficult to explain what Bounty Campaign really means. In my case, I tell people that I use the Internet and the social media sites to promote projects for couples of months. I simply tell them that it is an online job that has a weekly quota, and if the quota is not achieved as expected, then stake is lost.

For someone who has no knowledge of cryptocurrency, it is very hard to grasp the concept of it.  I introduced Bitcoin to some of my family members and these are their reactions; some are interest but adamant, some just shrugged their shoulders off and some just don't care. Later when I earn I'm going to show it to them as a proof that Bitcoin is genuine and true. I think that, that would be the right time to explain to them cryptocurrency and bounty campaign. Kind of like this,  a bounty campaign is when you do some tasks for the company and instead of getting Fiat money like Euro or Dollar, you get stakes. Those stakes will transform into Tokens which when the ICO (Initial Coin Offering)  starts  it  can be traded for Fiat. It is the time that you will earn your reward from the bounty you joined.  With my proof I hope they will join and earn for their own good and for the good of the whole family in general.

Yes. If we tried our best to explain what is a bounty campaign means, we can discuss them first about digital currency that can be earn through online internet manifestation. Explain to them that digital currency like bitcoin is a platforms to earn money through online forum discussion. It is like explaining an election politics that someone makes a campaign for a candidate platforms inorder to be voted and win on said election. So as to bounty campaign job that makes a campaign of initial coin offerings or ico to be introduced to the community the good benefits of certains coins that may gives profits for a successful investment.

I explain it by way of a job. For example, you have a job. You are employed under a company but with no employee-employer relationship. The company will give you tasks to advertise their product/s, and you get paid with your job on a weekly basis. However, you only get your payment by the end of the advertising period. The only difference is, you don't get paid with fiat, but with shares - small shares in the company. As the company grows, so will your assets.

Since I almost always buy tokens of those projects in which I participate in the bounty. Especially I need bounty if my country turns out to be banned in a prospective ICO.

I usually analogize bounty campaigns in the way that I'm working in a company abroad that is in need of an investor, well my job is to promote the company to be an investor by the way I carry the name of the company wherever I explore the virtual world. So far with my analogy then people who ask me quite understand. I also told that later when the company has got investors and the project is ending then I get rewarded in the form of a token crypto currency that I can sell and then I swap money according to my country fiat currency.

In bounty campaigns, you wear a signature and then fulfill the number of posts required per week. You can earn money at the end of the ICO upon distribution. Despite of being a tedious job, it could be a good source of income for members with high rank because the equivalent stakes are high. However, this is not profitable in low rank members especially now that the system for ranking up has changed!

Easy to explain, bounty campaigns is you marketing the coins from new companies. They are paying you to carry their logos and information of their project on your account and market it to people who will invest in the project. I do bounty campaign part time and the people who know I have a part time job I just tell them that I am into online marketing

On my part, when somebody asks me what i'm doing, my first reply was "have you heard about bitcoin?" If they answered "no", then my next reply will be, i have an online job. Period. No need for further elaborations. That somebody actually got the point instantly.
I think it's very hard to explain to an individual [all there is that concerns the bounty campaigns], who haven't had the slightest idea about cryptocurrency. So most of the time, i gave them the most simplest answer there is. I have an online job.
